Very disappointing and unprofessional…

Very disappointing and unprofessional over the phone. I was hoping to get a good service based on the reviews. Bobby does not want to deal with landlords, refused to do any business without even giving me chance to make any arrangements for the cash payment requested, I was shut down completely he hang up the phone. Shame from a business that wants to support local businesses in Leeds.

Avoid at all costs !!

Bought a single mattress a week ago , tried to return today all in original packaging unopened and unused .

I paid £70 cash and had a receipt , which stated I could return the goods for a refund within 30 days , this is definitely not the case apparently that only applies to online purchases !! No where on the receipt does it state that.
In the end I was told he was doing me a favor by giving me £ 21 , oh yeah deducting £49 for carriage !! Laughable , carriage to where , I picked it up and dropped it off !!

He will no doubt sell the mattress again for full price to an unwittingly customer .

Read the T&Cs guys and make sure you know where you stand before buying from these people .

Absolute zero points for Customer service , be warned .

Sorry you felt you had to leave a 1 star review for this , i did explain to you your rights which is the same for everyone,if you buy in person from a shop you cannot get a refund if the goods are in good condition and fit for purpose, you can only get a refund in 30 days when you buy on line through the website which there charges to cover the costs. We offered you this service as a good will gesture , as we didn't have to offer you this refund.please check out your legal rights.

Purchased a small double bed in June…

Purchased a small double bed in June 22, was given large discount for paying cash.
Bobby was friendly and helpful.
Bed was arranged to be delivered with 2 man installation service, I paid an extra £40 for this service.
On the day Bobby called me to say the headboard was not with the bed and gave me the option of delaying delivery however we had no bed so this was not an option.
Bed came , and was taken upstairs by 2 men, minus headboard.
I noted the base of the bed was very flimsy, and dipped once mattress was on top, making the Mattress very hard down the centre where the wooden plank in on the base.Called Bobby next day to advise and state this made the mattress very hard.Bobby asked for photos which I sent, however he did not think this was an issue and said it’s nothing to do with him. The headboard was delivered by him a week later he refused to bring this in to my house and fit it he told me that previous customers had taken him to court so he was not allowed in the house.
As I unwrapped the headboard I notes a hole in the material and informed Bobby immediately same day, along with a photo.
Again Bobby said this was a manufacturing issue not his issue and they had closed down for 2 weeks. Bobby has since ignored all my calls, letters and recorded delivery letter, that warmed of letter before court.
I have also commented on his Facebook site which he has ignored.
It is now March 23, the headboard is still in original wrapping and the issue is not resolved. Bobby will not answer my calls!
The bed and mattress is very poor quantity, the stitching coming out of the mattress, base of bed dipping and no headboard. The total cost is £440 cash.
I am now having to pursue this via court. I would strongly advise anyone to give this company a very wide birth!!
Very poor quality bed and non existent customer service!!

Avoid at all costs!!
I wish I had never stepped foot in this warehouse and parted with my money.
Go to a reputable dealer!
Happy for Bobby to respond before we go to court.

Hi Katie , We are sorry you had to put a one star review but we did make it clear to you when you was in the showroom we dont change beds if your son doesn't like the bed you choose for him , we advised you to bring him down and try it for himself.We did all the checks on the pictures you sent us and could not find any faults with the bed .

The man so helpful

The man so helpful. From start to finish the whole experience was fantastic. I ordered the bed to be delivered to Essex. Bobby was in constant contact and was available to speak to almost immediately for any questions or queries that I had. Lovely bed and mattress. Would definitely recommend and would most certainly use again. Some of the big companies could learn a lot from this company’s customer service skills!

Brilliant service from start to finish.

I ordered a king size mattress online and the following day received a phone call from the owner telling me he had processed the order through and that delivery would be made the following week. The mattress is fantastic quality and the customer service has been brilliant from start to finish.
I would highly recommend BF beds.
