Exploitation of vulnerable people

Bield are not interested in their tenants. Even their surveys are written to brain wash their residents.
When repairs do eventually get completed. They use the cheapest solutions possible.
Usually bodged.
Their greed with increasing rent prices are overpriced for the quality of the homes they provide.
Communication is non existent from area managers to rude ignorant employees. ( however there is some excellent staff who will act, when you mention newspaper, media coverage and M.P.s.
Rubbish has been left on a complex where I reside for well over a month. Which is contributing to rodents. Bield are not interested in.
Not enough car parking places for tenants. The parking spaces state for disabled parking. They do not meet the measurements for disabled vehicles.
When Bield have been challenged about lack of parking for residents. One employee told me to park in the village. ( I have severe osteoarthritis and asthma).
They also will not allow electrical EV charging.
Properties have antiquated storage heating. Which cost about £200 plus a month to run. Bield will not consider any other options. They are not interested in environmental issues and the impact of carbon footprints.
To conclude high rent increases for the quality of the properties.

Lacking professionalism and accountability

It could have been so easy to write a 5* review for Bield but for one serious area in particular that has been highlighted in previous reviews - ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR. Bields staff appear to have developed an institutional narcissism when it comes to their role and responsibilities in this matter. In all communication about this important health and safety issue, all responses from varied members of staff have been not only dismissive and eye rolling but also abusive; they are not solution focused they themselves are ironically enablers and instigators. Bias is unprofessionally demonstrative from all staff. This feels antiquated and evidences a severe lack of training. A fresh look at this area of service deserves immediate improvement and action. Unfortunately, this institution believes that some older people just evolve into bullies. The bottom line is, these older people need support as the likelihood is that they have always been bullies. They need clear boundaries and to be confronted about their behaviour in a firm and fair manner. I use the word "bully" which I feel has become outdated now and also is a wide umbrella to describe unwelcome behaviour such as slander, organised campaigns of sabotage, exclusion and intimidation etc all of which Bield turns a blind eye to. Also the rents are high and not inline with local market values and there is extremely poor communication (blank) on charges for services that you may or may not need like window cleaning for example. An orange pull cord system from the 1980's is still in use and charged for whether you use it or not. Overall, lots of work needs doing to get the attitudes and professionalism of Bield staff into 2025! Bield desperately needs to mature a bit and get with the program. The bureaucracy is painful and someone else is always the reason - rolls eyes!

Information is years out of date, Springfield, Uddiingston.

Phoned to make an enquiry re Springfield Gdns Uddiingston. Asked to speak to the person mentioned in the Bield Webpage for Springfield, Terri Thompson.
Person answering phone laughed, said, she left this post years ago.
He even told me the info on Uddiingston has been on that webpage for years and tears, never updated.
So why is her name still there??
Utter waste of time to get any useful information about Uddiingston.
Have no confidence I'll get any advice on my housing questions from this phone call.
Bield need to update this inaccurate website.

I would avoid this company

I would avoid this company. Their accomodation is very good but I have suffered antisocial behaviour in one of their flats for ten months now and in spite of a lot of communication with their management they have failed to deal with it.
