The whole process is based on pressure sales. It is dragged out to try to flog warranty and care products. The 200 point mechanical checks performed failed to pick up that the key did not work. Trying to get the spare key fixed has involved 6 calls,3 emails and is at present unresolved. Experience is highly stressful. Nobody cares about the customers.
The staff were all friendly , extremely polite and knowledgeable.
The two people who helped with my purchase were Marius in Sales and Shaz in collections. Both were incredibly helpful and made the process incredibly smooth. Marius was great and explained everything to me and was very patient when I needed to test cars to see if I could fit in them (I'm 6'4). I felt extremely secure with Shaz in collections as he explained everything succinctly and made sure I didn't leave without knowing everything about the process. Both offered brilliant customer service and were a credit to the brand.

After a few months my car had issues, we bought the extended warranty which is a SCAM that they spend ages trying to upsell along with other things (dent removers etc) even saying things like "she will dent her car you need it". The person closing the sales are PUSHY. Car has issues a few months after and the warranty they have sold ignores you and tries to blame it on the driver regardless of a mechanic report. After looking at other reviews (wish i did before) this is clearly a common occuring theme.
1 star at best! Although My used Tesla seemed to be good value having been looking for a while. The customer experience, and the way the car was dealt with after the Salesman had taken a deposit from me was Abysmal!
Once a deposit was down and i opted out of the Finance & Warranties on offer, however polite he was, I never saw the salesman again. Having to use a faffy link to put a deposit on the car instead of just a card machine. However, the salesman was very polite and informative, I understand the upsell of products is just doing his job.
Now, the bigger issue was the State of the car, Collection Experiance and MASSIVE GDPR ISSUES!
When i was buying the car 2 days before I specified Do-Not use the greasy glossy stuff over the dashboard or interior, i simply don't like how it drys blotchy and its horrible to get off. I also specified a mark or something on the headlight would need to be removed but should wash off, I was actually able to rub it off with my nail so clearly comes off... Lastly do not fit a big look at me Dealer Sticker in the rear window, I don't like them and I would need to remove it
Thankfully when collecting the car there was no grease over the dashboard, however... they Simply had not washed the car!
If Anything it was cleaner when i test drove it 2 days before! What was done though was the greasy stuff was all over the doors, Big Motoring World all over the back window on a wonky sticker and the mark on the headlight unsurprisingly still there having not been washed! The floor mats where still creased up folded into the boot without having been hoovered!! There was dust and dirt in every nook and cranny inside and clearly hasn't been washed since the lease company sent it to auction.
During the handover the guy was more than polite, but had the cheek to ask me if i was 'happy with the clean'! I stated its clearly not been washed but take the mark off the headlight and take the sticker off and ill fit the mats myself.... So he watched me fit the mats myself to my new car. I was in a hurry for my 2.5 hour drive home at this time so i decided to get on with it.
All while at least 4x of his colleagues where blipping about the collection carpark in what i assume and hope was a staff members BMW 440I - "Certi Driver Fam" comes to mind...
GDPR Issue: Now I have had the car nearly a week I finally made some time to set everything up properly, while using the Tesla App and messing about with the maps in the car not only did i find a previous phone still linked, i found a Phone still being registered as a KEY! But more scarily than that, in the maps I found the Previous owners Home address!! Just 35 miles from my house! Still with a key registered to the car!!
I have also just found out there is an advisory on the MOT for a suspension component issue, although I have a big fake checklist that the car has been checked and is of perfect health with loads of green ticks!?
Far from happy, but I love the car!
Thanks Big Car World, what a rollercoaster!
Anderson was a great man. Very helpful, he answered all my questions and made my mind clear. Thank you Anderson 🙏

The car we bought is in good condition, and they have a wide selection of cars; although "good condition" can be subjective since the air con broke down after 1 month of use.
But the warranty is TERRIBLE! Absolute SCAM! DO NOT BUY THE WARRANTY.
The salesperson told us it would have been all quick and easy to manage faults and claims via the app, but it's an absolute nightmare, 1h+ long waiting times on the phone, no replies, it takes weeks to repair the simplest problem. Please do yourself a favor and avoid the warranty they propose you at all costs!

Very bad experience. They sold us a car with dodgy paint work on the body. We couldn't see it when we bought and we didn't expect them to do it very badly as it's a big company. We went to the Enfield branch after we found out and they said you saw it how it is when you bought it. They don't want to help us. How could they sell a dodgy car with such a high price. Such a same!
I recommend everyone to stay away from Big Motoring World. They are Big Scamming World.

The salesman Ahmed Al-Shaheeb was really helpful and patient with all my questions and explained everything clearly. He gave us good experience while I was doing test-drive which made my decision easier. Grateful for everything.

Myself and my brother purchased 4 cars from these guys over the years and was really happy with their service and the cars. However, recently I had a problem with my car and tried to report. I have 36 months warranty for all faults, except wear and tear. They directed me to a company called Big Assist which is imposibble to reach via phone. I sent several emails, no response. After a while I just started sending emails to Big Motoring World too. Every single time they say something about Big Assist will get back to me but no feedback about the fault at all. Its over 4 months now and still nothing. I am glad that this fault is not major. I cant imagine how I would survive its a major fault. I paid 1.5K for this warranty. I told them that I will start seeking legal action.

Avoid Big Motoring World’s aftercare at all costs.
This was my first major car purchase before my 30th birthday, and instead of spending the first month enjoying my new car, I’ve spent it chasing faults, attending garage appointments, paying for Ubers, writing complaints and fighting to get someone to take responsibility.
Within days of collecting the vehicle, I reported a faulty air conditioning system, a fluid leak underneath the vehicle and a defective parcel shelf. On the day I collected the car, I was even told it wasn’t ready because the dealership hadn’t realised I was collecting it that day. That immediately made me question what checks had actually been carried out before handing me the keys.
The aftercare has been nothing short of appalling.
I’ve been passed from Big Motoring World to Big Assist, then to the warranty provider, then to approved repairers, and back again. Nobody wanted to take ownership. Every phone call resulted in being redirected to someone else.
The extended RAC warranty that was heavily promoted during the sales process has been completely useless. When I actually needed it, I was left dealing with delays, failed repairs, poor communication and endless chasing. I’ve since cancelled the extended warranty because I have absolutely no confidence in it and would strongly advise anyone considering it to think twice.
The air conditioning has now been looked at multiple times and still isn’t fixed. Independent mechanics now believe the fault may require Nissan to diagnose because it appears to be more serious than originally thought. Despite reporting the issue almost immediately after collecting the vehicle, I’m still left without a resolution.
To make matters worse, I have a chronic health condition that affects my body’s ability to regulate temperature. I made Big Motoring World aware of this, yet I have been left driving through the recent heatwave without properly functioning air conditioning. At one point I experienced symptoms that affected my ability to drive safely, and this still wasn’t treated with any urgency.
I’ve spent my own money on independent repairs because I simply couldn’t rely on the repair process arranged by Big Motoring World. Even after doing so, they refused to reimburse my costs or initiate repairs themselves and continued trying to pass responsibility to Assurant the warranty provider - where assurant will mention that the blame is on the dealer who sold the car.
The parcel shelf I reported shortly after collection also remains unresolved weeks later. Just know that, Big Motoring World’s attitude once you’ve paid is to pass responsibility to everyone else instead of standing behind the faulty vehicles they sell.
This has been one of the most stressful customer service experiences I’ve ever had. What should have been an exciting milestone has been completely overshadowed by poor aftercare, lack of accountability and weeks of unnecessary stress.
If you’re buying a car from Big Motoring World, don’t just think about the purchase price. Think about what happens if something goes wrong afterwards. Based on my experience, I would not recommend their aftercare or the extended warranty they sell.

The service from collect was the only good service we received. The first time we arrived we had to wait over hour and half to see the car we reserved only for them not to know where it was. I had seen another car which I was interested in sales was good however when asked if we could reserved this one. So we could go home and finalise some bits. They said we couldn’t for them just say the next day for us to that so we could buy the car. We were constantly told different things at different points throughout the process. The good service we received was from the team at the collection point.

Excellent service from the team at the Waltham Cross branch. We knew what we wanted and the team made it very straight forward in purchasing it.
Mo and Shaz are worthy of a mention making us valued customers and the whole process a pleasurable experience.
The car its self is exactly as described and a dream to drive.

I booked a test drive for a car based on its price and condition. A day later, the price went up by 1.5k! Luckily, I checked the ad before my appointment and avoided wasting half a day of travelling.
