Would 100% recommend shopping at BigMotoringWorld Sheffield, the staff were really nice and easy going. My sales adviser Hannah’ service was 10/10 nothing was too much for her to source, she wasn’t pushy, didnt leave me in doubt once, helped me find the right car for me and was really informative with all the information that was key to the sale and the after care has been great.
Would highly recommend

Everyone was very helpful, Catalin made a massive effort with the trade and finance itself, and the handover by Jody was excellent - thank you!!

What a difference in experience!
We’d just come from a really frustrating situation with another dealership—poor service, issues with the car, and being messed around over a promised refund—so we arrived at Big Motoring World a bit on edge.
Couldn’t have been more different. From the minute we walked in, the reception team were lovely and we were introduced to Josh, who just made everything feel easy. Proper down to earth, had a laugh with us, and didn’t make anything feel pressured.
He showed us a few different cars, talked us through the options in a way that actually made sense, and just kept things relaxed the whole time. It honestly felt like he cared about getting us into the right car rather than just making a sale.
Big thanks to Josh and the team for turning things around for us—really appreciate it. Can’t wait to pick up the new car!

The place gives off car shop vibes as the decor is the same ( note: you need to change that)
Down side is it was a long day otherwise they did everything to make you feel welcome overall I walked away with what I wanted

I made the appt but the sales person introduced himself to my son and closed the meeting with my son.
Cars were not clean.
Car I came to see was very scratched, not shown in online photos. Being sold without a charger.
Weren't allowed to browse any other makes of cars as the sales person told us he was too busy.
Price of car reserved had increased in price on arrival.

B.M.World have really great cars at really great prices, would recomend, although like any dealership the process of buying the car took far too long because of all the extra product they try to sell you. Questions need to be answered but even this took too long.
Having said all that they do really look after you. Staff were friendly, we got a year warranty.

A stressful purchase, never shown round the car fully due to different stations within the sales assuming wrongly already done. Mis sold items on the car but not present only finding this out after returning home. Keys was given on collection and that was that. A lot of money for a horrendous purchase. When evidence was given to after sales as proven correct. Too and fro emails resulting in a poor outcome not in favour of the customer, only winner is the sales person collecting the bonus for a sales technique that relies on lies. I have had more customer care and correct information re product buying a washing machine. I have never ever experienced anything like this for such an expensive purchase.
Even the staff at different stations were complaining about their sales staff lack of correct information, so what chance does the customer have.

Extremely disappointed with my experience purchasing a car from Big Motoring World.
Within 24 hours of collecting the vehicle, a low coolant warning light appeared and the coolant reservoir was almost empty. Since then, I have also experienced poor windscreen wipers scraping across the glass, braking issues that have worsened, and the car not driving properly in petrol mode.
I also noticed a chip in the windscreen on the day of collection, which had to be repaired before I could even leave.
The most frustrating part has been the aftersales service. I have sent multiple emails, been passed between departments, asked repeatedly for the same information, and have still not received a proper resolution.
Buying a car should be exciting, not stressful. I expected a properly prepared vehicle and much better customer service. Sadly, this experience has been the complete opposite.
I hope the company now takes responsibility and resolves these issues urgently.
UPDATE: I have now provided videos and an independent Kwik Fit report, however I am still waiting for meaningful action regarding the braking concerns and other faults raised shortly after purchase. I have repeatedly been told somebody will contact me, but no clear timeline or resolution has been provided.

We have recently purchased a car from big motoring world Sheffield. We couldn’t be happier with the service we received. Peter was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. He took the time to understand what we were looking for, answered all our questions clearly, and never made us feel pressured into making a decision.
He explained all the options available, including pricing, features, and financing, in a way that was easy to understand and was honest and transparent throughout. His friendly attitude made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.
Overall, I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a car. Excellent customer service and a great experience from start to finish.

A smooth and hassle‑free car‑buying experience overall. The sales representative was friendly and helpful, and we’re really happy with the car we purchased.
The only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that, despite the 200‑point check, the air‑con issue was missed. It has now been fixed, so thank you for sorting that.
We’re still having trouble with one of the keys. We’ve brought it in a few times and were told it was just the battery, but after multiple replacements—two by you and one by us—the problem is still there. We were then told we’d need to make a separate booking for the key, which is difficult as we both work weekdays and can’t come in on Saturdays.
Aside from that inconvenience, we’re very happy with the car and the overall service.

Ali at Sheffield branch was fantastic! Really helped with the new car and our part exchanged car too, 100% recommend!

In my case, I asked to simply buy the car, cash with basic warranty and no ad ons. I was sold the car quickly and efficiently with none of the usual hard sell. Very happy. Josh the salesman was great.

Doing business with this company has been an extremely distressing experience. I regret to say that the worst reviews are accurate.
I am currently on maternity leave and needed a reliable car, so I purchased a Jaguar F-Pace. The purchasing process itself was exhausting. The sales staff were persistent with upselling and the process took hours. With a 9-week-old baby, it was incredibly draining, but I eventually left with a car from the Sheffield branch.
All went well until day 22, when the engine light came on. This is when the problems began.
I live in Leeds and requested to take the car to the local branch, as travelling with a 9-week-old baby and a dog is difficult. I was told they were fully booked and that the Sheffield hub was handling their bookings. To make matters worse, the next available diagnostics appointment was weeks away.
We had several caravan holidays booked which we had to cancel, as we did not feel it was safe to tow with the engine light on. The delay was completely unacceptable.
I was then told I would need to travel to the Sheffield hub, 50 miles away, and arrive by 8am. I explained my situation with a newborn, and was told that if my car was not first in line, I would have to wait all day.
When the day arrived, I packed the car with supplies for the baby and the dog, prepared for a full day of waiting. In the afternoon, I was informed that the car needed a complete DPF filter replacement. I was told they could replace it, or, as it was within 30 days, I could exercise my statutory right to cancel.
I was already concerned after reading numerous poor online reviews. A friend had experienced similar issues and warned me about her own poor experience. While waiting, I also spoke to other customers experiencing engine light problems, and they all said they would never purchase from this company again. I was further told that the after-sales team are being made redundant, meaning future issues would be handled via an online form only.
Having also noticed issues with the tyres, and in light of everything else, I decided to request a refund.
Due to the ongoing fuel crisis, I had filled the car with diesel before returning it. I asked if they could refund me for this, given that I was out of pocket from travelling 50 miles for diagnostics, had paid for carpet mats, new number plates, and was on statutory maternity pay with significantly reduced income. My request was refused.
Please take note of the reviews. Shop around and ensure you choose a reputable dealer. Im totally fed up and out of pocket.

Don’t buy into their car cleaning package you can buy for £25, their so called 200 check is a load of rubbish.
Got the car home, door trim hanging off.
To top it off, a tyre the salesman had to blow up on the day of the test drive, I’ve taken to Halfords has got a puncture along with the other from tyre having low tread and needing replacing, quoted £400!
I’d check and triple check the car you’re thinking of purchasing as I’d never expect any new car to be sold with 1 a puncture 2 the other front tyre needing replacing…. Shocking especially after we stressed the importance of safety due to a disabled 7 year old!!!
The sales staff were very good and we saw lots of (different ones! ) what let the company down was the shabby valeting of the cars for sale. Ours which we nearly didn’t buy was revaleted 4 times until a satisfactory condition albeit when we got it home it did still have a stale smell will be having it valeted ourselves.
