I would like to say a huge praise to sales executive Ali, who was absolutely fantastic from his first greeting to my daughter and I to the final congratulations hand shake goodbye! Nothing negative to say and Mashhood was also great but Ali takes the trophy.
They lied on their part exchange valuation. They said my car was worth £25640 in showroom condition. It was IN a show room two weeks ago. It is in PERFECT condition. After I schlepped all the way over to the Wimbledon branch I was 1st offered £22000 after the salesman had fed the details into Webuyanycar.com then once someone had actually deigned to look at the car they came back with £23,500.
The car is faultless and you're a bunch of con artists. Their salesman's hapless excuse? "Everyone does it". Well I know not to bother with Big Motoring World any more. Strap line? "We're only as dishonest as everyone else". Great

Very poor from Big Motoring World. Mum paid,£129 to move a car to this branch to view and the car had a terrible smell of cigarettes all of which was not disclosed on the advert of the car. Again the car had only one key and no V5 and this was also not disclosed on the advert. Felt it was money down the drain, as simple honest advertising could have prevented the expense. Both the branch and their head office wringed their hands and said nothing could be done about the money spent and refused to take responsibility for poor and misleading advertisement. This is not how a large company like this should be treating customers in this day and age. I bought my car from this company 4 years ago and this is why I had my family look to buy from them. The sales executive who we dealt with was very professional and helpful but the management handled this issue appallingly. Buyer Beware...

Lucas, the handover advisor guided me through all the warranty details and set me up on the breakdown cover efficiently.
I'm excited to be driving the new car.

Stay away from this dealer, paid £129 for a car to be moved from enfield to Wimbledon, booked a test drive, car was waiting for me running, bit strange but i've done the test drive, all good, sales person parked the car and car wouldn't start again, dead battery, looks like the 200 point check is useless, while the selling process was ongoing they promise that they would fit a new battery and the car would be ready for pick up next day, next day come and no communication,no update, nothing, called several times no manager was available to give an update, receptionist told me he couldn't do nothing as his was just the receptionist, was promised a call back, never happened, tried to call and receptionist was picking up the phone and putting the phone down straightaway, after 7 attempts a manager picked up the phone to tell me the battery was requested and could take up to a weak to be delivered,i requested to pick up the car like that, that I could sort it out in a couple of hours, they have agreed, told them I would be on my way to pick the car, once there they took me to the collections team, waited for 45min and not a single soul asked me if I was being served, loads of staff playing around, joking ,having fun, doesn't look good when few customers are waiting for a long period, had to call a member of staff and let him know I was waiting for 45 min. Eventually they have decided to serve me, car was delivered filthy in and out, definitely a dealer to avoid.

⭐ 1 Star - Very Poor Experience, Misleading Sales Tactics and Poor After-Sales Service
I had a very disappointing experience with Big Motoring World Wimbledon and would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from them.
I purchased a Tesla Model 3 2022 model and was sold a 3-year warranty covering the battery, drive unit, and other components. What I was not told at the time was that Tesla's manufacturer warranty already covered these major components until 2030, making this additional warranty appear unnecessary and poor value. Had this been explained clearly, I would have made a more informed decision.
To make matters worse, the vehicle was sold to me with faulty suspension, despite Big Motoring World claiming that every car undergoes a 200-point quality inspection before being sold. Based on my experience, I seriously question whether such a thorough inspection was actually carried out on my vehicle. A suspension fault should have been identified before the car was handed over to a customer.
The problems did not stop there. The car was also supplied with faulty wheel covers, which produced a loud banging noise whenever the vehicle went over speed bumps or potholes. This issue was immediately apparent during normal driving.
The after-sales service from the Wimbledon branch was particularly disappointing. I dealt with handover manager and handover advisor, who repeatedly assured me that they would contact me to arrange replacement wheel covers. However, after multiple follow-ups over several weeks, I was continually given the same response that replacement wheel covers had been ordered, yet nothing ever happened. I felt I was repeatedly misled and given false assurances instead of receiving actual support.
My experience has left me with very little confidence in Big Motoring World's quality control processes and customer service standards. I would strongly advise potential customers not to rely solely on the advertised 200-point vehicle checks and to carry out their own thorough inspections before purchasing.
Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would recommend avoiding Big Motoring World, especially the Wimbledon branch.
Pros: None that outweigh the issues experienced.
Cons: Misleading warranty sale, faulty suspension, faulty wheel covers, poor communication, and extremely disappointing after-sales service.

Clearly do not care about customer experience or doing the right thing, seem institutionally set up to churn cars through quickly without making sure they are suitable for use.
On EVs, don't do a full battery health check unless you put down a deposit. Was told I would get the deposit back if the battery was not at a minimum expected level, but then sales manager on the phone said this wasn't the case and inferred I was a liar for claiming another salesperson told me this...
I was relatively committed to dropping >£25k on a car, but they could not engage with me properly on the terms of this purchase. Been waiting for a call back, first one I got was from someone passing on a message for the sales person I had been speaking to, just saying "computer says no" and was unable to explain any more or engage in a conversation about purchase conditions. I chased up and was just left on hold for ages.
Three days later, still waiting for the call back I've been promised and chased up on!
Wasted my time on site and on the phone multiple times, staff all act like they don't want to be there. Reading other reviews, probably dodged a bullet as cars seem patched together to get them sold and then getting any after sales support appears hopeless.
Small caveat - a lad in Leeds was good on the phone.

We had a really positive experience at Big Motoring World. Everyone was very welcoming and made us feel comfortable while we looked around and explored our options.
A special thank you to Andres, who was incredibly patient and informative throughout the whole process. He helped us test out several cars, including the Ford Fiesta, Fiat 500 and Mini Cooper, and took the time to answer all our questions without making us feel rushed or pressured.
Andres made the experience of looking for a car easy and enjoyable. We really appreciated his knowledge, patience and friendly approach. Highly recommend Big Motoring World, and especially Andres, for anyone looking for a great car-buying experience!

Extremely disappointing experience with Big Motoring World — AVOID!
One of the worst car-buying and after-sales experiences I have ever had. I purchased a vehicle from Big Motoring World and, within one day, discovered a serious fault with the hybrid battery. I had to take the car for diagnostics myself after just one day of ownership — something that should never have happened with a vehicle sold by a professional dealership.
What made the situation even worse was the after-sales experience. I repeatedly contacted the rejection team and specifically dealt with Verity, the manager, who did not even bother to call me back despite numerous calls and attempts to resolve the matter.
Big Motoring World also failed to properly acknowledge or accept that the vehicle had been sold with a fault. I was extremely concerned that I had been put in a position where my family of four was potentially at risk because of a faulty vehicle.
In the end, I had no choice but to involve the finance company to help me return the vehicle and resolve the situation.
The amount of stress, time and hassle this has caused has been completely unacceptable. Buying a car should give you peace of mind, not leave you chasing managers, arranging diagnostics and involving the finance company just to get a serious issue resolved.
I would not recommend Big Motoring World to anyone considering buying a vehicle. My experience with both the sales and after-sales service has been dreadful. AVOID and save yourself the stress and hassle!!

Staff was very welcoming and nice but spent too much time pushing warranties and finance plans even though I made it clear I wanted to buy the car outright without extras. Ended up spending 2 hours and 37 minutes, most of it waiting. Same process can be done in 15 minutes at a dealership.

I have had a hard few months my sister had a stroke 4 months ago and last monhth my brother died.
As the last car I bought from big mortoring world I liked "until it was stolen" I was aappy to go there again.
When I got home I realsied the key and there was only one is held together with sellotape I aimgine it could fall apart at any point. They refuse to replace the key for one that is not held together with sellotape So I have botifiec them I will escalltee to the Ombudsamsn. I was told by the salesman I could get a replacement key for £200 not so way more than that. I can not prove what I was told in order to make a saal but I certainc can show the key which actually rattles, I have just ordered a key from hte AA for £468

I reported an engine-bay noise on 4 July while my Renault Clio’s 90-day warranty was active. Big Motoring World first asked me to provide photographs of a noise, then made me find and pay for an independent diagnosis myself instead of arranging an inspection.
RAC confirmed a faulty water pump, but Big Motoring World still refuses to progress the claim without a separate repair estimate and photographs of failed parts. I am now stuck chasing third parties for paperwork simply to get them to consider a fault reported under warranty.
Five weeks later, they have neither inspected nor repaired the car. Their warranty process appears designed to transfer every cost, task and delay onto the customer.

I had a great experience with Sales Executive Ejon. From the very beginning, he provided excellent customer service and made the whole car-buying process easy and stress-free. He was friendly, professional, helpful, patient and really took the time to make sure I was happy with my purchase.
The car is great (I love it!), and I’m very pleased with my decision.
I would definitely recommend Ejon to anyone looking for a quality car and excellent customer service.
Also Lucas the Handover Advisor, was fantastic throughout the handover process. He was friendly, professional, and extremely helpful, making sure everything was explained clearly and that I was completely happy with the car before leaving.
Overall the staff were very welcoming, throughout the day. Many would often check in to make sure I was ok!
Thank you for making the whole experience such a positive one!

Lucas was amazing for the handover . We almost didn’t buy the car because we weren’t told about the luxury Tax at the time of purchase ( which was 2 days before the handover ) . The manager Mayla also stepped in to help and sort things out and was amazing . The Volvo xc40 .. so far is a dream car and ticks every box . So thank you Lucas and all the best in life . Thank you Mayla as well .We didn’t buy any extras even though they kept steering us in that direction .
Will definitely recommend Lucas .
Thank you .

Great experience purchasing our new car at Big Motoring World. Top notch facilities to make the process of buying a car enjoyable and fun. All the cars we viewed were spotless and in great condition.
The team in general are very welcoming and professional.
I would like to single out our sales executive Eijon who made the process of buying a new car fun and enjoyable. He was not a pushy sales person and provided clear information about finance and optional extras allowing us to make the hard decisions a breeze.
Wait times can be a little long during the viewing and purchasing process but there is a great refreshment bar and any staff member is more than happy to get you a drink while you wait.
You can probably find cheaper deals elsewhere but if you want great service and quality assurance, I am happy with our decision.
Note: I have not yet experience after care service with Big Motoring World. Hopefully I won't need to call them about anything too drastic.

We came to look at a car with an open mind not really sure on what I was wanting, immediately, Andeas and Miran were there to help, they did everything they could to give us the best deal possible. Although things were a little tricky from my side, they were still patient and professional whilst we made the decision and I fell in love with the MG!
Lucas finalised everything professionally and helpfully too, making sure we both triple checked everything before I left too. So a huge thank you to Andreas, Miran and Lucas, really helpful, friendly and professional throughout the whole process :)

Miran was brilliant at giving us some great options for the type of car we were looking for. We went to view a couple on the Saturday and came out with a new car on Sunday. All very efficient and everyone we dealt with was friendly. Big thanks to Miran.
