This is a SCAM operation
This is a SCAM operation. We purchased tickets on their site, designated two orchestra seats at premium price, then some time later got a confirmation email with seats assigned in the second to last row of the balcony section.
Our mistake was not to carefully review the confirming email and only when we arrived at the venue -- San Jose Performing Arts Center -- did we learn that assigned seats were not the ones we designated when we purchased through BigStub.
After a flurry of angry emails and phone calls, Big Stub agreed to credit back the service charge -- an astounding $201 fee on a $670 ticket purchase.
Stay away from this company. They are SCAMMERS!

Steve, we’ve carefully reviewed this order, and our records are very clear.
This order was placed on July 20, 2025, by your wife, Jill Miller. The confirmation email was sent immediately at the time of purchase. You even included this email in your recent correspondence, and its timestamp matches the exact order time — it was not sent “some time later.”
That confirmation shows the tickets were for Balcony Center, Row 11, quantity 2. Those are exactly the tickets that were ordered, confirmed, and delivered.
According to our records and server logs, there is no point in the checkout process where orchestra-level tickets were selected for this order. The section and row are prominently displayed during checkout before the order is submitted.
As a courtesy and in good faith, our support team still refunded the entire service fee, even though the order was fulfilled exactly as purchased, confirmed, and not disputed until after the event had taken place.
We understand how frustrating it can be to arrive at an event and realize the seats are not what you remember selecting. But in this case, the documentation is very clear: this order was always for Balcony Center Row 11, and those are the tickets that were delivered.
