Purchased a new bike via Biketart and it was the best mountain bike online buying experience I have ever had. Michael was excellent from the start, excellent customer service. Went above and beyond,... See more

Nice site, slow processing
Nice site with a decent selection. Only criticism is the time to process orders and having them shipped is slow. I’ve placed a few orders now and it’s always at least a couple of days to process them shipping priority has always been 2 days for whatever reason. For example I placed an order with another shop last week at 14:45 on a Friday and it arrived the next day. Thats the kind of service I’d like. If biketart is a small operation then fair enough but it’s something they could work on. Otherwise never had an issue and the correct items have always arrived.
Several purchases now
Several purchases now, totally reliable and speedy delivery. I had a problem of my own making, very easy to contact by phone, Biketart resolved it for me straight away, great communication, totally professional and helpful. Would strongly recommend.
great customer service
great customer service. First order got lost by delivery company. Not their fault, but rectified instantly and second order came fast. Even told if both orders finally arrived to keep them as spares. (Original order still never arrived tho) But all around great shop
Not heard of biketart before
Not heard of biketart before, but they had the best price for my Shimano 105 breaker pads. Quick delivery, will use again
Hassle-free shopping
Ordered some brake hoods and water bottles, nothing too tricky, but the right ones arrived in short order at a reasonable price. Hassle-free shopping.
Custom bike build
Built me a custom bike. Everything I ask for was no problem to the team. From the parts I wanted and how I would like the bike symbols to line up. Nothing was to much for them. Such a great team. Biketart will always be my go to bike shop.
I couldn't be happier with my purchase…
I couldn't be happier with my purchase from this store; I found the ideal bicycle that perfectly suits my needs, and its outstanding quality guarantees long-lasting enjoyment. The fast delivery ensured I didn't have to wait long to start pedaling.
Sent a damaged/used item, left hanging for refund
Consistently poor customer service.
Ordered a few things on the 7th July including a OneUp Dropper post. BikeTart sent me what appeared to be a used post which was missing all the accessories to install with an open, damaged box. Contacted them but they were so slow to get back that I managed to contact OneUp Components and have them resolve the issue before BikeTart had even gotten back to me.
BikeTart tried offering a discount for the used post but didn't offer a refund until I had to request it. The item was received back by BikeTart on the 19th July, I still have not had a refund or acknowledgment of receipt, today is 25th July. Yesterday OneUp managed to deliver a replacement post to me from Canada, this awesome customer service from OneUp really does highlight the terrible service from BikeTart.
I wanted to give BikeTart the opportunity to resolve the issue, unfortunately they haven't. Seems an underlying theme in the reviews. Won't be using them again, cannot recommend them.
Disappointed
Disappointed
Great advertising re drop in prices etc - all prices (various colours) shown as £29.95 yet when you come to order the price suddenly elevates to nearly £70.
Queried this with them, apparently the discount only applies to one dull colour.
Very confusing and not a great way to do business.
They have certainly lost a customer

I certainly wouldn’t use again
I certainly wouldn’t use again. Returned a pair of MTB trousers for exchange. Recorded delivery back, they arrived on the Monday morning. Nothing heard for a week, then called to see what was happening. Eventually got to speak with someone who said the returns are not processed for at least a week?? Having read the other review online, I would treat with caution if you have any dealings with this company.
Was a bit sceptical after reading…
Was a bit sceptical after reading reviews about slow postage, especially because the prices were cheaper than everywhere else online but delivery was super quick.
They rubbish payed extra for…
They rubbish payed extra for posting,4days Haden been sent,I will not use them again.poor service
I ordered a Santa Cruz Bronson from…
I ordered a Santa Cruz Bronson from BIkeTart and the customer service was absolutely amazing. I was updated 24/7 on where the bike was and what time it would be delivered.
Website was easy to navigate without any issues.
The Santa Cruz bike was shipped out from America to the UK and I found that more exciting knowing that the bike had come from the place it was built.
I can’t find a fault with Biketart and when calling they couldn’t do enough to help.
Outstanding service m, well done Biketart.
Don't order anything from this company…
Don't order anything from this company absolutely appalling service
Items wrongly listed as instock
Similar experience to other reviewers; I ordered various spares for my Hope brakes, all of which were instock according to the biketart website. The reality was a wait of over a week whilst biketart waited for stock. I paid for nextday delivery which was a waste of money.
Otherwise a reasonable service and staff were helpful when I chased the order, but the stock status was misleading.
Neat & easy exchange mechanism
They had some interesting bells which I find myself needing now I live in London with its dozy tourists...so got them for me and wife. I stupidly ordered small for her (wrong)....so I went through Biketart returns process which included an option to replace. That gave me a form to print, I sent back the small one, and (I guess as soon as it arrived) they sent me the large one, with no further action needed from me.
Absolute joke of a place
Absolute joke of a place, can’t execute orders on time, zero care for customers, mostly overpriced products, zero customer service
Zero customer service. Avoid!!
Zero customer service.
Ordered 2 brake rotors, advertised as in stock with 2 day delivery. That was nearly 2 weeks ago.
No tracking number provided, no sign of the brake rotors, 2 attempts to contact customer service and I've had no reply.
I'd avoid this company like the plague. They don't actually have stock and expect you to just sit and wait while they back order from their supplier.
Ordered from ChainReactionCycles instead, items arrived within 24hours.
Now have to try and get my £115 back that they've sat on for two weeks with no intention of actually sending me anything I ordered!
Great bike shop for online ordering
Great bike shop for online ordering. I ordered pretty much every part for a new mountain bike build minus the frame. This shop has a great range of both mid and high-end bike parts from all of the major brands, and also stocks some harder to find components like deity. The shop also offers great prices comparable to tredz and chain reaction cycles. Biketart however has better interest free finance options than the other two if this is something you want/need, having 3 year interest free finance with Klarna.
I had read some reviews saying that some people never received/ was very delayed for purchases of items showing as in stock with supplier rather than in stock with the store. I ordered about 20 items in one order, with maybe 5 items being in stock with supplier rather than in stock with the shop and I was a little worried after reading other reviews. This was not a problem however and I received all items within about 5 days of ordering them. I was provided good tracking info too. All items new and as described. Perhaps the stock issues were during covid when everything was hard to get rather than it being an issue with biketart per se?
Returns are good too. I had to return one item as I realised I didn't need it, and this was done easily and refunded quickly.
All in all this is a great shop for online purchasing of bikes and components. I have used them twice now and I will definitely order from them again.
