We have been using BIP solutions for a couple of years now. Our experience has always been very good. Very efficient and friendly service and the results for our events have generally been very good. We will continue to work with them, and our account manager, Stuart Parkinson, for other upcoming events in the future. Would be happy to recommend using their services.

Made our event a success

We used BiP to generate some new leads for our breakfast event. Over 50% of the audience had come via BiP and we converted more audience members into customers as we did attendees from other sources.

However our upped attendance rate paled in comparison to the other related resources that the team updated us with during the campaign, and has lead to an insane amount of followup work (a great problem to have, may I add).

I am looking forward to discussing our next project with them.

(PS Ignore the angry reviews from spiteful people who forgot to cancel their subscriptions, Alexander Shing and the team were an absolute delight to work with and I have no doubt that they could resolve anything if you just picked up the phone and spoke to them!)

Have used this company for 11 years

Have used this company for 11 years, inherited from a previous employee. I trialled another company following a sales call and decided they gave a decent service at a much lower cost, plus I preferred some of their features. Tried to cancel my subscription only two weeks after the renewal date to be advised it would cost me £971 + VAT - what!! That's equivalent to approximately 4 months worth of service. I was quite happy to pay the £450 mentioned in previous reviews on here - but £971, come on BiP - I think you've had enough money out of us over the years, and I was quite prepared to consider coming back next year when I'm up for renewal again (and told you so over the phone) if you could offer a more competitive rate - now I'm thinking I won't be doing that.

After 11 years I would think that to preserve your customer relationship and possible future custom you would not be trying to milk what you can out of this company - and calling it 'admin fees'.

We have used BIP for a short time for…

We have used BIP for a short time for various services, however I must say their service levels have been very good and supported our business. As much as it is early days and therefore it is hard to gauge the long term benefit of their services, up until now we are very pleased.

I used Bip Solutions services for two…

I used Bip Solutions services for two years and never found it very useful although I didn't have an issue with them until I came to cancel the subscription. I originally signed up to a worldwide account then they automatically renewed it the next year and I said I didn't mind continuing but I only wanted access to UK contracts. So they amended the subscription no problem and never mentioned that the subscription would automatically roll on the next year until a few weeks ago when I tried to cancel completely. They said I had signed up to a rolling contract and it was too late to cancel. They told me they sent me a letter that had clearly stated this fact but I never received such letter so I asked them to email me the letter that was sent. They took a week to send it to me and I had to chase them for it. When I got the letter it never said anything about automatically renewing just that my new subscription would start on the 17th July, but I never received the letter. Then we received an invoice on the 23rd of July (dated the 17th) so I emailed straight away to cancel and got an email back on the 26th to say I was too late to cancel. I am so cross as I would never sign up for a rolling contract and I told them on the phone last year that I probably wouldn't renew if we didn't win any contracts this year and they never mentioned anything about a rolling contract then. I am still waiting for proof that I agreed to a rolling contract, according to the government website if it isn't clearly stated anywhere it doesn't apply. All I want to do is cancel my contract, I am really disappointed in this company and don't want anything to do with them anymore. They have said I have to pay £450 to cancel the contract which is absolutely disgusting and a total con. Don't use this company!

We are very sorry that this has been your experience of BiP Solutions, especially since it is not consistent with the feedback we receive from the vast majority of our customers. It is simply not possible for us to sign customers up to contracts they have not reviewed and agreed to. On that basis, I was concerned to read your review and have personally investigated the matter.

I have since received confirmation that you had indeed signed our Terms and Conditions at the beginning of your contract period and that you were alerted one month in advance of your renewal in writing. As you will also know, details of your subscription can always be found under the ‘My Account’ area, and is accessible every time you log in.

I can also see from our records we tried to contact you seven times via telephone throughout the subscription year as is the norm given that we regularly check in with all our customers to provide any assistance or support in using the system. On each occasion, you indicated you were too busy to take the call. Our terms clearly state there is a late cancellation fee of £450 but as a goodwill gesture given the cancellation was in the first week of your new contract, we have now cancelled your account and a credit note has been issued to cover the value of the invoice. You will have also received an email from our finance department to this effect.

Surprised to see the review below saying “don’t be fooled by the 5 star ratings….”. I have worked with BiP for many years and all I can say is that they have been very helpful and have provided my company with a range of services that has allowed us to both access and build opportunities across the public sector. I’ve also attended a number of their events that has also provided us access to buying organisations, which subsequently developed into of new business opportunities. Overall, my experience has been nothing but positive and my company rely on them to keep us connected with the public sector.

I attended the Procurex 2019 event on…

I attended the Procurex 2019 event on behalf of my company (manufacturer) and found the event to be very well attended with a lot of key decision makers from many different sectors visiting my stand. Well worth the price of admission!

The drinks, dinner and awards ceremony were extremely well run and I would have no hesitation in attending again in the future.

Events are always well ran and staff…

Events are always well ran and staff are approachable and friendly. They offer us a great window to meet with procurement specialists from across the Public Sector and really get to understand the market at grass roots level.
I would certainly recommend anyone that is looking to engage in this sector to speak with BIP and look at the options available.
The leads and contacts made from just one event, would have taken a team of new business hunters many weeks to collate.

Beware of this company and their pressuring calls and emails to your staff!

Just won't listen!

How many times have I been invited to events I do not want too go to by this company I have lost count of. How many times have I tried to unsubscribe and change my preferences I have also lost count of. I get at least four or five emails a week that I just do not want or need. If anyone knows how to report them please let me know?

Update - I have been contacted by Bip and they will remove my details. I will leave it for a few weeks and if they are true to their word I will remove this review.

2nd Update Bip have been true to their word. For the last three weeks I haven't received any emails so I assume I have been removed.
