I’ve used Birchall Blackburn Preston three times now, and this is the second time I’ve used Hanna. Once again, the service has been excellent from start to finish. Hannah is always professional, approachable, and incredibly efficient. Any enquiries I had were answered quickly, phone calls were always returned, and she was always available to help and explain things clearly throughout the process.
It’s so reassuring to deal with someone who genuinely keeps on top of everything and makes what can often be a stressful process feel much smoother. Hannah is also a lovely person to deal with, which makes a huge difference.
I’d also like to mention her assistant, Ellie, who was equally helpful and always quick to respond to messages and queries.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hannah and the team at Birchall Blackburn Preston and would definitely use them again in the future.

I would really like to thank Jessica Watkinson and her team for their excellent service in preparing my will. Jessica carefully led me through the process and cheerfully took into account my concerns about clarity. She guided me through making several changes which better represented my wishes and and I am extremely happy with the result.

Like quite a few others have said, this firm or at least the team I was given are very poor.

We are unfortunately still in the process of purchasing a home using this firm, no chain either side and we are now over 14 weeks. Funny thing is, if they were a professional firm then they would want to be paid quickly so therefore do the work quickly, clearly not the case with these guys.
Asking for extra ID checks when they have all be done and cleared 2 months before, asking for bank statements again even after providing these on 3 seperate occasions.
Communication is laughable.
Halifax recommended this firm and it was not the cheapest but had high scores, I have since told Halifax to take this firm off as quickly as they can before they really damage Halifax’s brand reputation.
I would be very happy to talk to a team member after this review but I would guess they will be ignored too.

I cannot thank Ellen Woodward enough for the support and guidance she has been providing during my stressful separation.

Gave the buyers the impression that I had pulled out of the sale of my property when I hadn't. By the time I found out, it was too late, and the sale fell through. I wouldn't recommend them. There was also information given to them that wasn't added to my file, which caused serious issues when it came to exchange. All under the guise of protecting me which was incorrect. As an update (21st May), I have provided my information through Trustpilot to confirm I am a customer. I received a call, called back, and left a message, but have not heard back.

Amazing service from Jade. Thankyou so so much! She delt with both the sale of our house and the purchase of our new property. She was with us every step of the way and always got back to us whenever we had any questions or queries. Our new property was a repossession so this made things even more complicated; she was knowledgeable and kept us on track despite many complications along the way. Well thought out legal advise and effective

Just completed a purchase for my first house with Maryam and Nick. The whole process was simple, easy and smooth. Everything was completed within 2 months and received keys. Very straight forward and extremely professional. Great to work with and definitely recommend. Professional and experienced team.

We were buying our home (chain free) from our landlord.
the mortgage was in place in October 25 it took 6 months waiting on them before we could complete.
They had been recommended by the halifax as one of the 3 they use we have since recommended to halifax to not recommend this company any more.
communication from them was dire.
information you give them is ignored i lost count on the number of times we had to tell them we are not in a chain.
for them to do anything takes them a month of sundays.
Not a company i could or would recommend.

The service was excellent and communication was 100%. I was always kept in the loop on what was happening with the purchase of my home. I would recommend this service and company to anyone. Never have I met and spoke to such nice people.
