Can someone tell me is this the same company as BURBKIN ???

I had high hopes for my mystery box seeing the ads and others reviews. Sadly very disappointed with the choices I received. Totally not my style. I would never have chosen any of the items. They all look unkempt. Feels an expensive mistake as I now have to pass these items on to charity. Will return to trawling charity shops in person.

My 4 items must have been worth 5 times the value I paid for the box. They were all superb, a semi formal jacket from Debenhams, a very flattering blouse from Wallis, a black dress from Shein and a pair of summer pull on, pleated, white 3 quarter lengths also from Debenhams. I honestly couldn't be happier. The customer service went above and beyond before I ordered to help me with sizing etc. I also received a very nice note from a lady named Gemma in with my box. 100% will buy again and more than happy to recommend.
Lastly I have to say I'm shocked at the bad reviews, there's an old saying only gamble what you can afford to lose, as this is for charity you should see it as a donation first and the wonderful clothes second. If you wanted brand new clothes then don't be a cheapskate go to a shop, you either support their mission or don't bother. Leaving the negative feedback is so harmful to a wonderful idea in sustainability.

I put no trousers but got a worn out pair of trousers from c&a goodness knows how many years ago they closed !! Very drab colours after saying bright please & honestly so old fashioned it went to charity very disappointed but well overpriced for very old worn out tat !! Brilliant idea but needs sorting !!

I ordered my first box before I read the reviews so was sort of wondering what would arrive…
I was very pleasantly surprised. I got a lovely Debenhams red dress, a monsoon summer dress, a shein black & red top and a navy blue blouse.With a bonus gift of a bird silky neck scarf. Initially I was a bit “well I wouldn’t normally buy any of these” but do you know what - I’m actually keeping it all.
Arrived clean and fresh smelling and carefully boxed. I was quite excited to open my mystery box.
I’m sorry to hear others have had a poor experience. I love the ethos behind this and I’m very very happy with my box.

Was really looking forward to this but very disappointed. What I received included a bright yellow tshirt, multicoloured striped trousers, a cape thing and a woolen headband. Something like Eddie from Ab Fab might wear and nothing that could be remotely put together as an outfit. Shame as the concept is really good but I don't think a charity shop would even want it. Won't be ordering again. I've actually edited this because one item, a dress is wearable and there was a nice handwritten note in the package, but that doesn't alter my overall disappointment of what was received.

The clothing sent is awful.

I loved the idea but the reality is very disappointing. Old faded linen trousers that should have been binned. A frumpy dress. An even frumpier top. A blouse with sale tags that was beige and out of the ark! Seriously. Not one item would I take off a rail never mind try on.

What a waste of money and effort.

I've just received my box and wish I'd read these reviews before ordering. All items will be going to charity. I'm not going to waste my time trying any of them on so can't comment on the sizing. The clothes all look like something a blind granny would wear, not the age I put at all. It's a nice idea but a lot more thought needs to be put into items selected.

If I could give zero stars I would. What I received so disappointing 😞 poor quality and suitable for an 80 year old granny! Nothing like the advert!

I have ordered 3 boxes from them now and everytime everything has been black pretty much. I like to wear colours very poor selections and this time asked for something festive but didn't get anything festive.

Ordered clothes for a size 12. Received items for a size 6 or XS. Bkinda are denying I ordered in a size 12 and their order forms show no size on them. All items were cheap fast fashion pieces from primark and boohoo. Avoid like the plague.

My first box was great, although it took a month to arrive. A jumper, a cardigan, jeggings and a dress. All ok nice colours and it looked like there was thought put into it. My second box took less than a week to arrive, however it was awful and the clothing for the wrong season. A black thin pair of cropped work trousers (for summer), a black jumpsuit in thin material (summer). A very thin shapeless navy tshirt (summer) and a short sleeved primark shirt (again summer). Not only that, but the box was ruined by some sticky clear stuff in transit and one item had a mark on it. Royal Mail said contact Bkinda. So I did this and mentioned how unhappy I was about the clothing and the state it arrived in and I got an email back saying the standard line of ‘it is for charity’ and said to contact Royal Mail about the damage. No mention of sending anything to compensate. Whilst I appreciate it is for charity, I do not think it is acceptable to send out unsuitable clothing for £21, which subsequently get damaged and then not do anything to compensate.

Also, I also mentioned that jumpsuits are not something I would like. They mentioned in their email to put a note in to state this when ordering. However, this is not possible when paying with Apple Pay, because the ‘note’ section is only available when paying by other means. The advertising shows amazing clothing and the reality of what is received in the boxes does not match up with what is promised in the glossy photos.

This is a nice idea in concept and I love supporting charity by doing something like this. But I think that the execution leaves something to be desired. I understand that the website says ‘no refunds’ but that is incompatible with distance selling regulations that states you have a 14 day cooling off period. Perhaps some clarification around this is necessary.

I love the concept but the execution really needs work -just providing size, colours to avoid, and the 'age you dress' doesn't give them enough info to work with I think. My box included clubbing-type clothes I would never wear, very outdated styles, and it was all low-quality supermarket/fast fashion brands. I know it goes to charity but I would rather pay a bit more to get a guarantee of higher-quality brands. Would be helpful for the survey to include what sort of style you're looking for, if you prefer skirts/dresses to trousers, that sort of thing. Otherwise this is basically just a way to get rid of the tat that isn't selling...

I finally received my box after waiting over 6 weeks, and I SO
Disappointed.
I received a shapeless dress, two turtle neck tops and a cropped jumper. None of which Id wear as the quality was awful and two of the items had bleach stains on them. They don’t accept returns or offer refunds. They suggest giving them to friends or donating to charity if you don’t like them- my local charity shop actually refused to accept the items as they were in such bad condition.
Avoid like the plague

I have just received my box and I am very pleased. I have a pair of trousers, a designer dress and two tops. One of the tops is probably not my style and the dress is a little snug but the trousers and one of the tops are perfect for me. The quality of the clothes are excellent beautifully packed, and arrived promptly.

This was a ‘maybe ok’ purchase but I would definitely recommend.

I ordered my box with no expectations- glad I’d not read all the negativity here first too.

The concept is about charity and sustainability not about getting you exactly what you’d want from a trip to buy new clothes. You may get stuff that’s not quite your ‘thing’ and it’s not going to be new with tags. For the cost, I was very happy with what I got - even the dress I didn’t like on opening the box could be styled to suit me with the addition of a belt. My items were good quality, the jumper was a little old looking but shabby chic is always in!

I often shop at charity shops so wasn’t expecting too much how we the dress, t-shirt, tunic and jumper are all good and will be worn and when I’m done they’ll get sent to charity shops again.

Don’t buy if you’re expecting luxury labels for next to nothing or brand new items. Don’t order if you have no insight into sustainability or ability to see beyond a simple item to the style you can create. Even a plain t-shirt can be made more with a scarf or jewellery. And if you did get 4 t-shirts in your box it was still good value, unless you always buy from Primarni…

Was really looking forward to receive the box from you, only to find I was really disappointed with the result, 3 t shirts and I skirt, I feel no effort was made when putting my box together, Don't even wear skirts. The quality of the items were poor too. Definitely won't be recommending this company to any of my family or friends. I feel the company should also be giving the customer the opportunity to return the unwanted items with a full refund given.

The packaging, personal note and concept is excellent - and can certainly help to keep things in circulation which is exactly what we need, however, for me there were two major issues. The first is that your 'style' is not taken into consideration at the start. You are asked how 'old' you dress, but nothing more than that. In my case this led to a box that was 50% not my style at all, and were discarded immediately into my charity bag (no returns are allowed). Also, the two pieces that were more my style were both from Primark and very cheap in quality and material. I buy all my clothing secondhand, but I never buy cheap fast fashion items such as this as they just do not last, let alone being often nasty to wear. So, I was really disappointed to find two pieces (out of 4) in my box. So - I highly applaud the premise, but a lot more thought into creating suitability (in style) and true value (minimising very cheap fast fashion pieces, or limiting to one per box) for the customer is needed to create repeat customers.

I received a plain white long sleeved T-shirt that was baggy and shapeless
The other three items were all cheap black office wear, also shapeless – a frumpy Peacock skirt, black office trousers in a cheap shiny fabric and an M and S black jacket with buttons hanging off that was so old it had a St Michael label! I hope a decent percentage of the money I paid goes to charity because this lot went straight in the bin – I would have been ashamed to donate these to my local charity shop

Never worth money . Clothes from shein. dress was missing belts. Jumper had been washed and shrunk. Blouse and trousers not great look old and washed out . Don't waste your money.
