Picked up my new Africa twin today
Picked up my new Africa twin today. So disappointed in the experience. I showed up early excited to pick up my new bike. Did the paperwork and wait until the delivery time to go over my new bike. I was told it was going to be delayed because the bike was getting it's PDI done. After 3 hours of waiting I was tired and started asking what the problem was. The service department was very disrespectful and would not tell me what the problem was. They seemed to be hiding the fact that the bike was on the bench with factory recalls and the bike was apart. I had to fight with service to tell me what the recalls where. I asked to see my bike and in a very controlling attitude I was told no. I was treated with no No NO respect. The service manager was treble. It left me feeling like I made the biggest mistake buying a new Africa twin. Not a warm good fuzzy feeling for doing business with such a big organization. I have bought two other bikes at Barns Powersports Calgary in the past two years. And to be treated like I have no value, no respect was so frustrating. The delivery department and finance department where very helpful trying to get me answers but the service department was treble. It's 2 AM now and I can sleep still so upset over the experience. I did not get any satisfaction from the service department. I never did get any paperwork as to what was done on my bike for the recalls. The service manager asked what could she do to make it right. I said my first service should be free. I understand her to agree but she never honored her offer. It's unbelievable how someone can be so unprofessional. You spend over $20000 only to feel like you have no value. I think the delivery department and finance department did a great job and where honest with good intentions. The service manager took away all the good with all the attitude and negative disrespect.

Cold and formulated
First, I am a long time repeat customer of Blackfoot motorsports. They have never been fantastic when it comes to sales relationship building, but lately, post acquisition, it has become worse. Service was average parts were pretty good selection is good. Recently another group has bought them, and the sales relationship is Poor. Knowledgeable sales people happy to talk to you, but there is no building a rapport. I would be willing to bet if you bought a motorcycle a day here they would still treat You like you just walked off of the street for the first time there is a poor effort to build relationship with customers and so little incentive to do business as a repeat customer. They have good selection and if they have something that you want, they’re perfectly fine, but if you are a repeat customer and wish to do business and establish rapport, In my opinion, it is not possible here. They are like a big box store. It isn’t even the sales rep issue, they are quite good, some very good, it seems it is a company policy issue. It’s policy to place barriers or conditions on the exchange. I feel bad for sales persons as they seem to be prevented from actually dealing in a give and take basis and therefore unable to build relationship, and this seems by design. This is the big box thinking model, standardizing all exchanges for efficiency and compliance. Great for what you need when you need it if they have it maybe, but they will never remember your name. Businesses like this will soon be replaced by the Internet and home delivery as they have little understanding of a real customer relationship.

Bought a Honda CRF250F from Barnes on Blackfoot a few weeks back and I can't thank everyone I dealt with enough.
The process was effortless and at all stages the folks made me feel welcome and were super helpful.
Kevin Rowland helped get the bike I wanted and the deal I was after. He was really communicative and promptly answered questions as they came up.
Sue Davis handled the finance side of things and was really easy to work with, not pushy at all with extended warranty or other extras (which is a nice change from car dealerships!) and the whole signing process was painless.
Finally Mario took his time to walk me around the bike and answer all questions I had.
Overall I have zero complaints of the whole process, and the free delivery was a nice bonus!
Blackfoot Service
A huge shoutout to Blackfoot Service. I had a major warranty repair (engine replacement) and the work was perfectly done and completed in a timely way. I was also well informed every step of the way. They really served me well. Blackfoot has become 'my' dealership. Every department - service, sales and parts has been top notch.
I will never buy anything at Blackfoot Again
I will never buy anything at Blackfoot Motosports again. They have zero concept of customer service. I live an hour and a half away from Blackfoot. I bought oil and a filter there for my bike. When I went to change oil I found they had given me the wrong filter. All they would do was ship out another filter and cover the shipping but insisted on charging me for the new filter. I had to drive the three hours at three times the cost of the filter in gas to return the old one. Absolutely deplorable customer service. My father also purchased a tire for his bike there which turned out to be faulty. They denied it and would only admit to the tire being faulty after my father confirmed with the manufacturer that they had a faulty batch. Finally, Blackfoot agreed to get a new tire, but refuses to refund him for the tire when it was determined they won't be able to get a new tire in a reasonable amount of time. He's just supposed wait for a new tire regardless of how long it takes. There is really no reason to purchase anything at Blackfoot as their prices are easily 50% more than Fortnine where you can get anything that Blackfoot has.
They guys I dealt with were awesome
I purchased an e-bike and shipped it myself to Nova Scotia as Blackfoot currently aren't shipping E-bikes to the Maritimes and I must say I'm pretty darn happy with their service. I dealt with Derek and he was truly helpful in me getting a bike that is pretty much impossible to find in Canada in these days of pandemic-caused bike shortages; he made this a pretty easy purchase for me, and I'm very appreciative of that. He knows these bikes well and was able to answer all of my questions. I also have to give Darren/Darrin kudos, the guy who packed the bike up- he truly did a great job and the bike arrived with not a mark on it. It was a pro job. I just wanted to thank you both for your great service and your help throughout this purchase. Blackfoot currently aren't accepting credit card payments of over 500$ for on-line purchases which was a real pain in the butt but otherwise it was a first-class experience.

Talked with David initially who referred me to Mike Becker, first class service from both, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Kevin in parts has been very helpful too.

I would not ever order from this site again, we ordered a pair of saddle bags for bike, got 2 different sizes because of a BO and have tried to return the small bag numerous times and after talking to the sales rep he won't return calls and let us know what they are going to do about the situation. The last time I spoke to this company they promised to call me but still have not.
