Not the best experience. Beware.

After starting the returns process following the failure of their (now updated) Quick Detach connector on the Sport X strap. The Customer Relation Team offered a like for like replacement as long as I was willing to wait only to renege on their original offer a few days later. Be careful to ask for the upgraded QD connector as the old one in my experience disconnects randomly.

Really not great

Really not great. Bought a Curve Breathe Cross-Body Strap and a BlackRapid Hand Breathe Camera Strap. Both were not intuitive when trying to get started. the Hand strap comes with a wrist support that does not really feel sturdy and the hooks that connect to the hand strip are quite flimsy. Funny, it's expensive stuff so I thought I will buy it as it should be good but don't be fooled, this is really not good and a waste of money. Quite frustrated with this label actually....great marketing though, they have got that right!

Ordered a super Nintendo mini from black rapid on the 22nd Oct and never received it got a recorded delivery letter on the 22nd November saying there has been delays in orders arriving in the UK so will take another 21 days to arrive this never happened and paid by visa how to I go about claiming my money back ?

Scam

Scam. I also ordered two Hoover boards. Was given a tracking number and what I received was an invoice with special delivery which needs to be signed. Now the status says delivered. Clever really. Im gutted

SCAM ..... this needs to go viral to stop other families buying from these fraudsters . They now calling themselves B RAPIDO

So me and a work colleague both ordered 2 hoover boards each a few weeks ago. Neither of us have recieved delivery.

I’ve emailed three times. No reply. I can’t even log onto my account either. Have email to confirm account and order but yet my account is not recognised.

So ive contacted my bank and claiming through VISA to get a refund.

This store doesn’t even deserve one star !

A Company Heading Backwards Fast

I bought a dual strap from the photography show, Birmingham over a year ago. When I got the strap, I had never heard of them. I was told at the stand the strap was the most reliable strap built and this it would keep my gear safe through thick and thin. I bought it. £140. I use expensive gear. Photography is my passion. My gear means everything to me. I trusted it with the strap and the sales pitch that came with it. Within six months, one of my straps had lost the little screw that hold the clasp together. I stopped using it. Fortunately you can split the strap and use it as a single. Everything was fine, but I was one strap down. I emailed their customer services and never heard back. Fast forward to September this year, I was on a trip to Canada. I had my DSLR with a £1600 lens on it. I was using my working strap. On getting off a bus, the worst thing happened. My DSLR came out of the strap and landed lens first on the road. The screw had fallen off from the second strap. My gear was smashed.

I got home and contacted Blackrapid right away. They were responsive initially. I posted by straps to the UK distributor who then sent the strap to Blackrapid for inspection. The unfortunate thing is their UK distributor went bankrupt. I then contacted BR directly.

I have to be honest, their customer service and communication is terrible. I have no idea how they have so many glowing reviews. I got a bill for a lens repair and DSLR repair £950. BR said my strap was ware and tear. they offered me a replacement at %40 discount. This was honestly a massive insult. I asked for my strap back. Communication ceased. They have stopped responding to my emails. They have not sent my strap back. After initial contact, their communication was pretty awful. I spent time asking them for an update. There was never any rudeness or anything, they just seemed like they didn't care and infrequently contacted me.

BR is a company I would completely avoid. On their site the words 'the worlds most trusted camera strap' are headed. I would not buy their products again. In my opinion, their customer service is awful and their products are substandard. BR is you ever read this, please send me my strap back. I did buy it after all.

The strap won't stay secure on …

The strap won't stay secure on shoulders. Within minutes of walking it rotates to the thin strap and the padded strap moves to the bottom. Frustrating. I ended up putting paper clip on sides to lock it in.
