I had placed an order online but it had been delivered wrong after not getting very far with the online help I went in store feeling a bit deflated to try and sort out the refund. I was served by Martin who was so helpful and made the return a breeze, he found the correct coat in-store and sorted out all the paperwork so I was able to leave with the original jacket I wanted. Absolutely wonderful member of staff.

Had a problem with a tent pole my son broke whilst at Glastonbury. I spoke to Martin at Aintree to see if they had a replacement in stock. I took it in for him to have a look and he kindly repaired the broken tent pole. Way above the level of service expected. Highly recommended.

Needed new hiking boots so I went to Blacks…. Amazing.
I had help from Grace who clearly knew her stuff and helped me pick out my new boots. She listened to everything I said I needed and was really knowledgeable about their range and what would suit my needs.
Couldn’t recommend her more!!!
The boot I wanted wasn’t in stock in my size so Grace had it ordered for free delivery with a discount for my wait!

Looking to buy a portable gas bbq, found the one we were looking for at Blacks. Vicky who served us was very helpful and completed our order for delivery, great service and knowledgeable about product! Great to have a helpful and friendly member of staff.

I was served by Sean who was friendly and helpful. He did his best to assist in my selection.

The lady who helped me was very quick, knowledgeable, and helpful. I wish I had got her name to mention her personally. She saves me both time and money with her advice. I will be back soon as I need more help with some camping equipment. Thankyou to you helpful staff. I hope she gets some recognition.

I Visited blacks store in aintree today looking for some shoes for my little boy. On arrival we was kindly greeted by one of the staff called callum who looked after us helping us find the perfect shoes for my son going above and beyond until we found the right pair couldn't ask for a better service. *****

Lovely lady who served me in Blacks Aintree on Wednesday. Couldn’t be any more helpful and very friendly.

I came into the Aintree store needing a replacement tent pole as one of mine had snapped. The staff searched for some but couldn't find the right size but they found some spare loose pieces in the back of the store & cut them to size for me. They even reattached the elastic inside the pole to ensure it was complete.

As they were spare parts they did it for me free of charge & as I was due to go camping the next day it really helped me out.

Store assistant very knowledgeable and helped me find what I was looking for.

I went to Blacks to get my daughter a pair of walking boots. All the staff are so friendly when you walk in, making me feel comfortable. We went upstairs to the shoe section, where we met Vicky. She was great, really helpful helping us select the right boot and running back and forth making sure we got the right size boot too. Excellent customer service.

Went into the shop in Aintree yesterday to buy a waterproof jacket that they unfortunately didn't have in stock. Bought a Montane Hydron instead on a whim, and Grace said that if I changed my mind I could easily get a refund the following day.

After testing the jacket today and deciding it wasn't for me because it wasn't very breathable, I went back in the evening and Grace very kindly refunded my account even though I'd forgotten the receipt.

I decided on a Berghaus Maitland instead but that has yet to be tested.

Excellent customer service from the minute I walked in I was greeted I could not find what I was looking for. The young Girl came over. Asked me do I need any help She found what I was looking for. The manager came over. Said hello excellent service made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble

We were served by Vicky today, who could not do enough for us. We were choosing new walking boots, and she was very helpful. The other staff were great too.
