Had a great experience at Blacks
Had a great experience at Blacks, I was looking for some new boots and John was really helpful and patient. There was also a great selection of waterproofs and other hiking equipment.

I had an online buy that didn't fit. I took it back to Black's in Basingstoke and Jack dealt with it swiftly. Dan found me the correct size which I tried on and purchased. In and out in minutes!

Excellent customer service!
The assistant Jam was extremely helpful, friendly and happy. I tried on 5 pairs of walking boots before finding the right pair for me and he was patient the whole time, giving good advice and being attentive while at the same time avoiding being overbearing or pushy! Very happy with my purchase and the whole experience!

Dan was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and patient. He gave real insight into the various walking boots, and was supportive in the selection process. A great example of customer service backed with real experience. We were even happy to pay slightly more for the product, despite it being cheaper online, because of the service Dan provided.

Today we were served by Imogen in Basingstoke and she was outstanding. It was the end of a hot and humid shopping day and she was so patient with my son in helping him choose shoes. He is slightly on the spectrum and show shopping is always stressful but she was calm, patient and suggested options we hadn’t even contemplated. She was also attentive to my daughter even though she wasn’t buying anything. We were with her for nearly 40mins and when I found out she had just completed yr 12 I was stunned. Incredibly mature and professional, an asset to your store

Good shop, good reasonable prices for hiking gear (which is a pricey market), and great service. Not local but will be back when back in town :)
