Excellent Customer Service
I came in to the store to buy a Rucksack that was in stock online but wasn't in-store - Saadia was the shop assistant that helped me, she offered to get it delivered to my house at no extra charge. She was very knowledgeable and efficient and a credit to the Basingstoke store.

Lovely staff, great quality gear
Went in looking for a pair of hiking boots and didn’t really know what I was looking for because I’m new to this kind of stuff. One of the workers, John, was so lovely and really helped me choose the perfect pair. All the other staff were so nice as well and everything I bought is great quality.

Recently purchased some low cost…
Recently purchased some low cost sleeping bags. Unfortunately the stuffing separated after one use and a wash per instructions. Returned to my local store and dealt with Jack. I was blown away by the attention to detail and product knowledge of Jack. Going through the options we decided to upgrade to a better quality 2 season sleeping bags, and take a refund for the previous ones.
The whole process was straight-forward and seamless!

Helpful advice
I had a very useful chat with the assistant, Jack, about some problems with some ill fitting trainers I had recently bought.
He’s given me some useful tips about adapting the lacing which may solve the problem ( rather than sell me any more!).
I did go on to buy some sandals!

Best store in the chain
I've bought a pair of boots from this store and received fantastic service despite how busy it was. They advised me to wear the boots in for a while just incase they don't feel as comfy at home. And of course they were right to as my heel kept slipping. I came back today (the following week) and was greeted as a familiar face and seen too immediately. The staff were patient, caring and gave me complete honesty with their recommendations of replacement shoes. I walked out of there with a replacement pair of shoes that I'm happy with
Couldn't recommend the store more.
