Blacks - Bury St Edmunds Reviews 

I visited the store today to find water-resistant walking trousers for my 13 yr. old son. Danielle was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the trousers and the waterproofing wash.

Great service again in the Bury St Edmunds branch yesterday.
Charlie gave me plenty of time to consider my options and helpful advice to allow me to finally make my choice

It's very tiring taking an autistic child shopping, especially when he is growing so fast we need assistance buying shoes. Not so with Danielle at Blacks. From the moment we walked in she was so wonderful! We got advice on best brands for wide feet, making sure the shoes fitted properly, and had room to grow, etc. She was an absolute delight and made, what we expected to be a challenging experience, so much easier. Us neurospicy folk need to stick together. I think Blacks should offer autism/adhd friendly shopping and Danielle would be the best person to lead that in Bury St Edmunds. Thank you!

As always the service in the Bury St Edmunds store could not be faulted. We were served by Jamie and his colleague, who were incredibly helpful. We needed a new pair of walking boots for our son for dofe and they were so knowledgeable. There are a number of outdoor shops to use locally and online but we always go to this store because of the amazing service. Thanks guys.

Danielle and the rest of the staff that helped me out, with some new boots, were fantastic. They were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, ensuring the boots that I wanted were delivered to my house as soon as possible because they were not in stock at the store. I will definitely return to Blacks in Bury St Edmunds for future products and great service.

You need to go no where else if you are looking for new footwear. Joe, is the most knowledgeable person I have come across in 40 years of buying footwear. His enthusiasm, expertise and customer care goes above and beyond. Blacks - you are very lucky to have this individual as one of the team members at Bury St Edmunds Store.

I went into the store today to buy a fleece jacket, the assistant Charlie was very friendly and helpful as couldn’t reach some of the tops. All the staff were very friendly and approachable and not pushy. Will visit this store again.

Another good experience at Blacks in Bury St Edmunds. Staff member Danielle was helpful without being pushy and assisted me in choosing the right pair of walking boots. I prefer Blacks to other similar establishments in town for this reason.

Always wonderful service in this store. I’m struggling to get upstairs so they kindly brought some socks downstairs for me to look at. Lovely friendly staff and knowledgeable about their products.

Good service and products

I needed advice when re replacing my walking boots. Neil came to help me, and talked me through my various options. After making my choice, he encouraged me to walk around at home in them to be absolutely sure they were right. I had to change them in the end, but still got great advice. Thank you. Jill

Hollie was very helpful and friendly in helping me with my purchase of a pair of walking shoes. Could have gone to Amazon but price exactly the same and could make sure of a good fit and get them same day. Cannot beat the personal touch of a shop assistant.
