I had a fantastic experience at Blacks thanks to the exceptional customer service provided by their assistant, Daniel K. From the moment I walked in, he greeted me with a warm smile and asked if I needed any help. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the products and took the time to guide me through the options without being pushy. I felt comfortable asking questions, and Daniel was patient and thorough in his explanations. They went above and beyond to ensure I found exactly what I was looking for, and even helped with some additional recommendations that turned out to be perfect. Overall, it was a seamless, enjoyable shopping experience, and I left the store feeling valued as a customer. Couldn’t praise home enough!

Excellent service today at Blacks Glasgow branch. I came into the shop today looking for a new waterproof jacket as I am from the Highlands, I needed a good solid buy with all the rain that is surely to come our way! I was helped by a very charming young man called Daniel K, who was very knowledgable on this sort of thing. He remained patient whilst I deliberated between brands, and was sure I was getting value for money. It was a great shopping experience, not one I get often at all! 10/10 - Thank You Daniel!

I was in today and served by a lovely young man, his service today was absolutely brilliant. I was in desperate need for a new pair of walking shoes and Daniel K knew exactly what to recommend for me and I left feeling happy with my new pair of walking shoes. Went into the store with a set of absolute musts and a very little knowledge of what kind of shoe would be the perfect match. Top floor Dan was absolutely great - he’s listened to my long list of needs, looked at the style I liked and even got me some fluffy socks to try the shoes on (as I tend to wear thick socks when I walk/work). 10/10, found the perfect shoe and had some lovely chat with Dan. Thank you!

Got a great jacket and deal in blacks Glasgow store the one in Argyle street today one of the staff a lady called holly omg she was so knowledgeable she knew all about the jackets the wee expert she is and she was so helpful with what I was looking for I would definitely come back to blacks in future if I need anything else great customer service thank you from guy

Good advice, friendly and quick service

I made an error in the size of some gaiters I had purchased and could not return it to blacks in time as they were shut. So having purchased the correct size from another outdoor chain, I returned to blacks. I was offered without quibble, a refund or an exchange. Whichever suited me better. As I had a few little bits to grab anyway I made good use of Dan's product knowledge and had exactly what I needed within minutes. I felt such an efficiency and professionalism that I could not help but leave a review for blacks and thier employees like Dan on the top floor

Visited this store today, with my wife who needed new ferrules for her walking sticks . On arrival we were met with a friendly welcome from staff on the ground floor . We asked for replacement ferrules, instantly Andrew said they were on the 1st floor . He requested we take a seat & proceed up the stairs & returned with the ferrules & fitted them onto my wife’s poles . This allowed us to venture out onto the wet pavements without the poles slipping . We were very impressed with Andrew & his colleague quality of service. A refreshing experience thanks

Top floor Dan was very knowledgeable and patient talking me through the technical aspects of waterproof jackets. Dan was interested in understanding what I needed the jacket for and helped guide me to the range of jackets that best suited my needs. There was no pressure from Dan to buy, he encouraged me to try on a few different jackets and made sure I was comfortable and happy with my eventual purchase. If he hadn't taken the time to explain things to me, I would have left the store without a purchase and gone home to spend hours on the internet trying to understand waterproof jackets instead.

Dan, on the top floor, was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable - we were very glad to follow his advice (and learned a very handy tip about being able to get Rab to re-waterproof items!)

Daniel K was so patience and helpful whilst I tried to decide what shoes to get lol. He had great customer service and I left happy… Will return again!
