Very belated review
Very belated review - when first wanting to go on a hike, thought to go online and get the required stuff (shoes, bag etc) but then thought it would be wise to go into a shop and at least see what's on offer - a lovely gentleman by the name of Gavin was very knowledgeable and informative, assisting with my enquiries on what I needed and even made sure to measure my feet (hadn't been measured as far as I can recall but know I'm flat footed) and the right shoes to wear as a result or the issues that can result and the right gear needed (needed a new bag but had to help mitigate my over-sweatiness when active).
Very thankful to him that I returned twice afterwards and was assisted by the lovely Jules (earlier review).

Walking Boots
My husband and I went to Blacks, Holborn, today to buy a pair of walking boots. We were served by Jules who was so efficient and helpful. She genuinely took the time to make sure that we were happy with our purchase and recommended a pair of boots to my husband, who in turn, bought them and is extremely happy with them. Fantastic staff
I went to the Holborn blacks store and received the most fantastic help! Henna spent loads of time with me going through bags and was really helpful in picking the right one. Faulty tent replacement
I had purchased a berghaus tent which id had for a few months, but it ended up having some faulty issues. I’d tried to get the problem sorted via go outdoor and blacks online. Id been passed from pillar to post for weeks without getting anything sorted. The team at Holborn were extremely helpful and nice, ensuring that this issue was promptly resolved !

Excellent customer service and product knowledge
I have recently purchased some Scarpa midrise walking women's walking boots following excellent advice from Gavin. He was patient and clearly very knowledgeable.
My partner was served by Karen and was also given excellent information and customer service.

Fantastic Service
I'm in the Chancery Lane branch at least once a week and am impressed with the general service and helpfulness of all the staff. Richard however is a stand out who's knowledge of the brands, willingness to help, and general demeanor are exceptional. Give the man a raise or a promotion. He's an amazing bassador of your brand.

I was served by Richard and was impressed by his dedication and professionalism, I was only able to make a purchase due to Richards support in pointing out what best met my requirements and budget.
