I had the best experience at the Chancery Lane shop, Henna and Maj were the best sales assistants!! Both were so helpful, knowledgeable and so friendly! I am now all sorted for my hiking trip, thank you Henna and Maj!!

Henna, friendly, professional and very helpful member of staff
I visited the Holborn/Chancery Lane store (sadly due to close soon) and I was greeted by Henna in a very friendly & professional manner. I needed to exchange a backpack for a larger size and nothing was too much trouble for Henna. She was knowledgable and understanding and the whole experience was very positive and encouraging. I am happy to hear that Henna is remaining with Blacks (moving to the TCR store). She is a credit to the company and I do hope she is being valued as the fantastic member of staff that she is. I've been going to Blacks- the Holborn…
I've been going to Blacks- the Holborn branch, for about 10 years now. The staff at this store have always been so helpful, friendly and perlite and as a result, I've picked up a wealth of additional knowledge as regards outdoor gear. I would particularly like to give a shout out to Gavin and Yas, who have been exceptional examples of professionalism and courtesy, I salute you. Black Jacket
A lady called Henna served me today. She was so helpful, friendly and very professional.
I was looking for a black jacket, that was fitted and water proof. She helped me find it, she was really attentive and I left the shop really happy with my purchase.

We made an order on a Friday and paid…
We made an order on a Friday and paid extra for 24 hour delivery. At 08.00am Saturday morning we were woken by a telephone call to say that the delivery was started. I was not amused. 8 days later we had still not received the walking pole that I needed - despite paying extra for the 24 hour service. The only reason that I have rated thi as high as 2 star was their fairly prompt refund.

Walking shoes in Holborn
I was after some walking shoes and was served by Gavin in the Holborn branch. He gave me some sound advice and talked me through exactly what I should be looking for in a walking shoe. Fantastic Gavin at the Holborn store…
Gavin at the Holborn store was fantastic. I have really difficult feet to fit and be was so knowledgeable and patient it was a pleasure rather than torture. He knew all the makes and styles of walking shoe and what would fit my feet best. They did not have my size in store so he helped me buy it on Blacks on-line to be sent home. Great service.
