Extremely disappointing experience — avoid if you expect a made-to-measure product to actually fit

I ordered a made-to-measure blackout blind over a month ago, and I still cannot properly use it.

The original blind was cut approximately 5 mm short on each side, despite me providing the correct measurements. The company then provided a seal to compensate for the gaps. The bottom section was also damaged and could not be closed properly, so they sent a replacement.

Unfortunately, the replacement part was then sent approximately 38 mm too long. I am now expected to somehow modify and assemble a supposedly made-to-measure product myself.

I am a technician, so I understand manufacturing tolerances and that window openings are not always perfectly square. That is not the issue. The problem is repeated poor quality control and basic measurements being wrong in both directions.

The communication has also been frustrating, with promises of resolutions taking weeks and multiple attempts required to get the issue addressed.
I have now spent over two months dealing with a product that I cannot properly use. A made-to-measure product should arrive ready to install — not require the customer to hire someone with tools to cut and modify replacement parts.

Very poor experience from start to finish. I would strongly recommend thinking twice before ordering from this company.

No contact since they confirmed that they are looking into it.

I ordered my blinds on a Saturday evening and the arrived 3 days later.
They look beautiful on my French doors.

Order was sent incorrect, this was quickly rectified. Abigail was amazing correspondence via email. Blinds are replacing old ones in the house. New blinds are blackout and are very thick and look amazing would definitely recommend

Blind slats that I ordered were of far better quality than I thought they would be for the price, arrived quickly and well packaged. Will be using them again for sure.

I ordered a double blind from this company and paid for next day dispatch costing £18, I assumed it would be fast delivery for that cost but no 4 days later and still nothing. I have another 8 blinds to order for my house but certainly won't be using blindsbypost again. Be warned £18 is not worth paying.
Finally got a delivery date with a ridiculous delivery time of 8am to 6pm. Took the day off to be there when it arrived, it didn't arrive. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

Used Blinds By Post when furnishing my rental properties, their products are excellent top quality and cheaper than other outlets. Great service also with orders being received within a couple of days.

Delivery very acceptable time space, quality and given length perfect no complaints at all.

Blinds by Post offer both new and replacement blinds in a great colour and pattern ranges for a good price. Order turnaround is pretty quick.
