Unprofessional Company

I would never contemplate ordering from this company again, even if it was the last Blinds supplier on Earth. Waited over 50 days for a blind that I believe was never going to be delivered. Couldn’t get a firm delivery date, so, after waiting for almost 2 months, I asked for a refund. Unable to talk to anyone by phone. Terrible customer service. This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with.

Poor Customer service

Ordered blinds 12 April and paid £381 with delivery given as 21 days. Chased delivery 13 May to be told sorry factory busy delivery now expected 9-23 Jun. 7 Jun told parcel dispatched with TNT . TNT say parcel never received or scanned Blinds uk say TNT lost it.
My contract was with Blinds uk so I asked for refund and 5% compensation for the inconvenience and interest on my money they held for 2 1/2 months. They paid refund but refused to pay compensation. Instead the offered 10% off next order which was less than the15% they give me as a returning customer and by their terms not in addition to.
When I told them I would write a review they said
“ We also feel that this is a threat towards us and we will not accept it. The goods have been sent from our end and we have no blame that these got lost. ”

Perfect

Received my blinds in a week, and they were well packed and the instructions for installment were easy to understand. The most surprising thing for me is how they look much better in reality, when they are in your home, covering your windows. They completely change the energy of the room and make it warmer and more welcoming. Fantastic service and amazing products!

Ordered 2 blinds 05 May no delivery by…

Ordered 2 blinds 05 May no delivery by due date, so I contacted them and was told it was the headrail supply and was brexit, and would be late due mid june (no show) so contacted again and now the excuse is the material was ordered twice by the manufacturer and it didnt arrive, so as i figure it, the headrail and the material could not supplied so basically no blind although the light that comes through the gaps is still there daytime only.

Slower than advertised dispatch but good products

Wasn't sure what to expect for a made to measure blind half the price of other sites but it felt worth a punt. Saw reviews on here complaining of very long dispatch times before I ordered. My order said 10-15 working days for dispatch but after 25 days it still wasn't dispatched. Contacted customer service and received a reply same day with updated dispatch estimate which was accurate. Seems the company is suffering for delays from Europe but I don't quite understand why they don't update shipping info accordingly.

Happy with blind: looks really smart and perfectly to size. Used different screws than the very short ones supplied to fix to wall. Instructions on fitting clear and detailed.

Fantastic product

The main problem I have had with my bedroom was the absence of blinds, but now I feel like I am living in a totally different room. The blinds are made of great quality materials, and they are very easy to use. I am confident they will last me a good number of years. Thank you blinds-uk!

6 Week wait!!!!!

I ordered one Roman blinds from them, just to see the service I would get. As I’m eventually doing all windows in my home. I checked out reviews and all seemed good. Placed order on 3 June, told would take up to 14 days. After 14 days no blinds. I emailed to enquire about delivery, to be told delivery will now be up to 14th July. 6 weeks for blinds!!! Really not happy as no one informed me of this prior to me enquiring. Don’t think I’ll be ordering again from them for my other blinds.

Poor customer service

Ordered shutters from this company. Slow delivery which was more than time frame quotes. Followed their instructions for measurements and measured as stated.

Product received is 7mm less than my measurements provided and does not fit my recess. This is the higher end of their tolerance levels, nowhere on the measurement guide did it say to add on extra to ensure they fit . To add to this no fittings were sent with the product, despite my request, so I am now £400 out of pocket with a useless shutter.

They are refusing to replace the shutter without me paying again which I cannot afford to do. Very disappointing customer service via email who are saying that my photos show my measurements are wrong. In reality I have a sloping window recess which I measured correctly at the point we wished to fit the product.

My experience with blinds-uk has been excellent. They have delivered amazing blinds for a fair price in a matter of days, faster than I even expected them to arrive. It is unbelievable how much of a difference blinds can make in a room. Well-earned rating and in case I will ever need quality products again the future, I am coming back to this website for sure. 5 stars from me, I am very pleased!

I can't speak highly enough about this…

I can't speak highly enough about this supplier, not only has our blind lasted years and still looks new, they replaced our side winder for free - we broke it when I was decorating. Both product and customer service are excellent.

Delivery on time, quality shutters

Me and my wife decided on getting some light-colored shutters for our home. A friend told us blinds uk had high quality blinds and a good delivery time so we ordered and indeed they are very nice. We are extremely happy with the delivery, price and obviously how great the shutters are.

I have recently moved house with my family. I was going to place a big order since I needed to cover every single window, therefore I needed a trustworthy company. One of my friends told me about this website and I decided to give it a try. I have bought 4 different types of blinds in a large quantity. They arrive a few days later and I must admit that they have exceeded my expectations. The blinds really enhanced my new home. Highly recommend this company.

Still waiting for my order I placed on the 13th April!
No updates,I have to keep asking for an update! I have ordered six blinds which are not that cheap...!
The one update I did get was that the material I ordered is in the EU?
Very upset with this terrible service.
I doubt I will get a refund.

These have to be one of the best blinds…

These have to be one of the best blinds I have ever used. The way its colour matches the rest of my room is gorgeous! I must mention that the blinds arrived in 4 days and they were easy to install, nothing complicated at all. This wood truly gives a unique feeling in any place it is installed. Also, this blind looks even better in reality than it did on the website, which made it an even better surprise for me. Do not hesitate to order from this company, they are great at what they are doing.

I ordered some blinds as it said 7-14…

I ordered some blinds as it said 7-14 days to delivery. It took 7 WEEKS before delivery was made and at time of ordering the blind came with FREE pair of cushion covers, no cushion covers received and when I queried there was no covers I was told that you had to spend over £150 to get them BUT also they didn't make cushion covers in that material! WHAT!! False delivery promise & false advertising!
Seriously Peeps use another blind company I will now for the rest of my house for sure!

Needed help with replacing a tilt…

Needed help with replacing a tilt mechanism on my blind which I had purchase from yourselves. Aftercare service fantastic and efficient. I sent an email and within twenty fours hours I had a new one through my door. Over the years I have bought eight. They are very good quality and I would recommend anyone to purchase.

This is not the company it claims to be- I urge you not to use them

I ordered plantation shutters and paid nearly £400 upfront as you have to. I used this company as they promised a 4 week maximum delivery. 6 weeks later no word from them. When I queried I rang the only number on their website to be told that they could not help me as it was the sales line only-basically one lady in a office. She told me there was no way I could speak to customer services as they only took emails! They hide behind this facade claiming to be an online company only when they fail to deliver on their contracts . I then emailed customer services and this was the reply: "Unfortunately, while chasing the order we have found out that it has been lost with the factory and they have no way of tracking it." THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY they take your money then if they can be bothered they pass it on to buy in from other sources- they do not have their own factory and it consists of one person on a computer and one person on sales telephone. I am still waiting for my refund and I intend to report them to trading standards. I shall never use this company again and I would urge anyone reading this not to either.

Avoid this company at all costs

Avoid this company at all costs, they consistently miss delivery dates, they appear to be middle men and will try everything in their power to avoid refunding or resolving any problems. Supplied one blind then were unable to supply the balance of eight due to stock issues with the trim when I suggested that I was happy to accept an alternative trim so long as the trim was replaced on the initial blind FOC they replied "custom product made to measure goods already made cannot be refunded/returned as per our terms and as per Distance Selling Act."
