Bought by FTX

Bloomberg knew about the FTX desaster in July but didn't want to publish anything about it because it would've been bad for their business and they were already bought by FTX. Don't trust anything they say and for god's sake, don't give them any money.

Bloomberg is one of the worst sites

Bloomberg is a run-of-the-mill article website which is nothing special or better than the rest. They ask you to create an account even if you visit the site once for an article link you saw online. They think they are giving readers something special but their readers are just noobs.
I leave a site and never return to it after i see 'create an account to read full article' they can f off lol

Do not subscribe with Bloomberg

Do not subscribe with Bloomberg, their content is crap. They hook you in with a trial and then to cancel you need to contact them. When I asked for a refund for the £29.99 subscription they sent me a snippet of their terms and conditions, basically telling me to get lost. Avoid like the plague, subscribe to Business Insider instead as they have much better content.

Absolutely the most horrible experience…

Absolutely the most horrible experience with this money grabbing, unethical company. There customer service have no class are are completely rude - please for your own sake do not buy any subscription from Bloomberg- it’s the worst experience you will ever find. I bought the subscription only to find the information I require not available- after a day or so asked for a prorate refund - customer service words - “no can do - appreciate the feedback” - we are all hardworking individuals and money does not come easy in these testing times - something this company does not understand.

Worst customer service ever…

Worst customer service ever experienced, they first lure you into the subscription by giving discount and then wait for you to miss your cancellation date to charge you for full year at full price and then would refuse to cancel. NEVER TAKE THEIR SUBSCRIPTION. I would not recommend their services. Worst is small word to describe their customer service.

This is an insult to peoples…

This is an insult to peoples intelligence. First of all, the articles are too long and full of fluff, second: how does one cancel a subscription here? It’s like dealing with thieves, the efforts one has to make are out of the ordinary. I’m incredible frustrated with the idea of what good looks like in terms of customer service that this group of people have.

Won’t let me cancel. Been trying for a year.

I emailed customer service to cancel it a couple months ago, no response and I’m still getting billed. Tried over 13 times to cancel it according to instructions, but it’s logically impossible.

I log into the Bloomberg app, open chat box, ask to unsubsubscribe. Then it logs me off the app, and instructs me to log into the Bloomberg app and unsubscribe with the chat box.

If I try this enough times then it locks my account.

If these guys aren’t in jail soon it will be their billion dollar legal team. We should all flood them with chargebacks.

good market reporting, but a very negative score for customer service

Bloomberg do a good job of market reporting and commentary, albeit the website is riddled with ads even when you subscribe. Unfortunately, as per other comments, this generally timely reporting is overshadowed by an appalling business model in which subscriptions rollover at increasing rates without notification. my subscription recently rolled for the third year, not at the same rate as the second year but at a further increase. there was no email or pop-up to say my subscription was going to roll , let alone an explanation for the higher rate. obviously this is a very poor business practice , but it is also illegal here in NZ.
I have reported Bloomberg to the NZ Commerce Commission for poor/unfair subscription contracts.

No warning of renewal and no refund allowed

I did the first year of bloomberg at a discount as a new investor and seeing what they had to offer, (no worth the 1st year even at a discount) and had no warning I was about to be billed again but this time $415 for the next year. Once billed I contacted them to remove the charges. Instead they sent me a link to their terms and stated they will not refund anything. I have had ones before where it's a renewal and as long as I contacted them quickly they cancelled the renewal and refunded. I never even received a reminder that it was up for renewal as would be what most also do. No Bloomberg, they are scammers - no wonder he is rich, he has no humanity to do this to people. I had not even been into my account in 6 months as I found it not useful to my skill level.
