Bloomberg's Shell Game
Bloomberg's goal is to trick you into a subscription and then swindle you out of your money. I didn't expect Bloomberg to operate like a scam but they do.
I am not a huge fan of bloomberg…
I am not a huge fan of bloomberg terminal. $20,000 per year is simply too much for market data. Cheaper options avilable.
When a site lures you in then blocks…
When a site lures you in then blocks you from seeing the page to sell you crap, it's a hard sell. GFY Bloomburg, what a stupid way to try to get a new customer. You're blocked now from all google search results. Don't worry bloopbburg, I won't try to see your pages and useless news again.
Avoid at all cost- Greedy corporate
Avoid at all cost. Really bad customer service agents who never really address you questions/complains. Was charged with subscription fee even though I cancelled before the cut-off date. You can only cancel subscription by contacting them instead of automatically online like many other media websites. Very bad reporting style- pro big banks and very one-way communication. Don't see how they could survive without corporate subscription.
Poor subscription dept. customer service.
Like the Bloomberg Businessweek app and magazine and the reporting but the way the subscriptions dept is run with discounted trial periods then sneaky renewals at twice or more the price every six months. Asked for cancel and refund after rollover just a few days after but they refused. They do not care about customer satisfaction. Run like boiler room operation. Unfortunate that they treat people like this. When my term ends will never subscribe to them again. In the end they loose.
In my opinion, Bloomberg and other news agencies can no longer be trusted.
Bloomberg, like other news agencies has reported omicron as being the reason for a stock market slump. They like other news agencies, are using fear-mongering, when the omicron variant hasn't caused one death.
Bloomberg uses biased reporting , and like other news agencies just simply can no longer be trusted in my opinion. I feel that they could, and should be held liable for the damage being done to our society, and our economy.
Again, in my opinion, the stock market is being manipulated by the big players, and I no longer feel comfortable keeping my assets there in the market on Wall Street. Others can make their own decision, my money says cash is the place to be right now.
In any case it is my strong opinion, that omicron has nothing to do with what's going on in our economy right now.
Get robbed through subscription - Worst customer service -
I'm absolutely amazed how a company like Bloomberg could run such a rubbish subscription service and even worse having a team of incompetent at Customer service (Mr Daniel in specific), chatbot are more helpful, shame on them. Will run this pass the Ombudsman as I feel I've been robbed.
Pharma Mouthpiece
Used to be a big big fan. Their on air presenters are extremely knowledgable about financial issues. However they are lurching to mouthpieces for Pharma companies lately rather than reporting financial news.
scam
As others have pointed out they try to scam you by offering a cheap entry price and then auotmatically charge your card a higher price even though you had cancelled. Very dishonest. I will never use them again and have told my colleagues. in addition the content is not news at all but totally one sided political nonsense.

Having problems cancelling the subscription i göt roped into,.avoid the hassle!!!
Bloomberg.com not really a wothwhile subscription
I am a current paid subscriber of Bloomberg.com
Criticisms:
(1) Bad customer service with agents taking you for granted and replying to questions as if they know it all and you know nothing.
(2) Bloomberg.com (even after logging in with your paid subscription) plays ad videos and audios at multiple places on the web page at the same time! I have explicitly disabled autoplay of audio and video on my browser settings and this still plays. Clearly they are doing some workaround to make this happen even after paying in full for the subscription!
(3) News articles and ad and sponsored content are so closely intermixed while browsing through the page it is sometimes very difficult to distinguish between the two
(4) Most Content easily available at other sites
(5) Even if I am on a subscription that is not ending soon, they keep sending offers online and in emails about renewals. After I once renewed my subscription with the new offer, they started doing the same with other offers.
Not too much inclined to renew the subscription.
Very stupid people at Bloomberg
Very stupid people at Bloomberg. They always write UK property aritcles using Rightmove interview and quotes. How thick can you get. Rightmove is only makes money if property market transaction volumes remain high and for that you need property price increases mostly...haha. So Rightmove will always give positive news about the property market as if they say prices will continue to fall, people will halt buying and wait hence property transaction volumes will go down and Rightmove will make less money....HOW THICK CAN BLOOMBERG BE TO USE RIGHTMOVE VIEWS AND INTERVIEWS ALL THE TIME?? Feel sorry for people paying for Bloomberg news..haha.

Wanted to read a post as soon as I clicked the link I was bombarded with ads, instantly went to check where can I leave a 1 star review.
IOS app Content Limited
I appreciate the content I can read. However the IOS app has reduced the number and topics of coverage within the past week or so. Android app still has what IOS lost. I find myself turning to the Android app even though it is slower and clumsier. I'm in a month-to-month subscription, and have noted the reviews on this site reporting problems with cancelation of subscription. Feeling apprehensive about that.
Absolutely the worst customer service…
Absolutely the worst customer service of any company I've ever dealt with in my entire life. I was basically told that I was a liar and that I did not actually cancel my subscription when I said that I canceled my subscription and therefore they refused to refund the $70. $35 a month for their ridiculous Online subscription.

The audacity to charge for their mediocre content is laughable.
Really great high quality news outlet but.....
Really great high quality news outlet. Unfortunately PLAGUED by simple issues. Far too many adds for a paid service. If I am watching on my phone and I come away from the app even just for a second I am having to watch 30second adverts that I've seen far too many times again and again. It is also behind real time around 2minutes for me. Very frustrating as I really love the content.
Billed 2x and Bloomberg never made it right, terrible customer service
I signed up for a trial and cancelled well before the trial ended, only after a few days of use. I just wasn't using it enough to justify the monthly cost.
Somehow, Bloomberg created two accounts for me, so cancelling once wasn't enough apparently. I had no idea I had two accounts nor that it was even possible to have two accounts, and I was suddenly charged, 3 months later, $34.99.
I called them to dispute this charge and kindly requested a refund. They refused to refund me. I spoke to a supervisor and they "escalated" it twice after I kept calling back, only to be told the same thing via email and phone.
This was their mistake, not mine. They told me themselves my last login was June right before I cancelled my first subscription, yet they wouldn't refund me. Why would I sign up and pay for the same thing twice? Total scam. I had to dispute the charge with my bank and file a claim.
Pathetic that a company this big didn't make this right.
Deceptive sales practice after trial…
Deceptive sales practice after trial period. I specifically logged in before my trial ended to cancel the auto renewal feature on my Bloomberg dashboard but it was still auto-renewed. Apparently despite having that feature, YOU NEED TO CONTACT THEIR SUPPORT to have such a simple thing cancelled. If you have been charged a year, too bad you would never get a refund. Not even a pro-rated one because as they say it, this is their terms and conditions.
I think the Chinese companies cannot be…
I think the Chinese companies cannot be patriotic when it comes to global markets. For example when it banned the US tech apps the whole world suffered whether there will be crisis between the two countries. This largely affect the other countries. So I think they should also allow usa tech apps on their domestic platforms.Because it will lead to a huge global market growth around the world. People will feel happy.
