Not the best fist impression
Bought some shoes online, the next day I got an email saying my order was cancelled as they don’t have the shoes I ordered? Somehow they took the money anyways and then refunded and now I’m stuck in a cycle waiting for the money to go back in to my account week later! I’ve not used this company before and I’m really disappointed!

Very unsanitary
One piercing that I got yesterday had fallen out (different shop) so went to bb to get it sorted. Upstairs staff really nice but the piercer who sorted me out didnt wear gloves and I didnt see them wash their hands either after dealing with a previous client although they took the time to clean the bench. They cleaned the pierced area but not the bar I had been holding in my hand for abt 15 minutes (I wouldn't even care if they used the same antiseptic wipe) Then once the bar I had was back in they proceeded to say that I needed a longer bar. Won't be getting any piercings done there unless there's another emergency situation like this. I only went because I thought it would be cleaner than me doing it myself but turns out it wasn't.
Edit: the piercer did not wear gloves or clean the jewelry before hand

We are very sorry to hear that you did not have a good experience in our Birmingham Branch.
We passed on your review to our Regional Manager, who has disputed your comments.
They have confirmed that the piercer followed all hygiene practices, including hand washing, wearing gloves and cleaning of the jewellery. The piercer also asked if you had a latex allergy before putting on the gloves.
They also confirmed that the establishment that you went to for the piercings initially did not use the correct jewellery. Our piercers' advice was that you change the jewellery to one that is less likely to reject or fall out again. That advice was not followed, and no new jewellery was purchased.
The service was completed free of charge as a gesture of goodwill by our in store team.
We are very sorry your expectations were not met during this experience.

Brilliant place and staff
Blue Banana Nottingham .. yet again you’ve treated us with care attention and made the whole process brilliant !
My Daughter took advantage of the current offer of Buy one piercing and get the second half price , she had 2 high Cartlidge piercings  . Staff upstairs sorted all she needed with ease and professionalism . Went down stairs and this time she was pierced by Tiggs ( Tegan) who we have talked to many many times when she’s upstairs ! Thank you Thank you Thankyou for your help and patience and professionalism in sorting where she wanted them doing and sorry she bled :) your a credit to Blue Banana Tiggs !! the whole experience again was fantastic ! misleading promotional via emai and poor customer service.
I am extremely disappointed with the service at the Manchester Arndale store. We received an email for 50% off jewelry, but when we tried to use it, the staff refused to honor the offer. They claimed there were "hidden" terms on the website, despite no restrictions being listed in the email. My daughter has been a loyal customer for piercings here, but for the sake of a £5 discount, they have lost our business. We will be going elsewhere from now on.

Friendly, helpful staff. I hadnt had a piercing for more than a decade and thought piercing area would numbed but apparently this isn't done anymore, nonetheless the procedure was quick and not too painful. Excellent hygiene, after care advice and approachable, professional piercer

Ordered three items money and order…
Ordered three items money and order taken. I was given an estimated delivery. Then had email to say all three items I ordered were out of stock and I would have a refund in a few days. I will check if that happened Disappointed that items were still being advertised. I shop with blue banana. ???shop in future!Not happy!
