Got a tragus piercing here and my friend got a helix, both went really well and our piercers were super friendly (Id name them but I've unfortunately got a terrible memory). The piercings don't hurt at all even just the day after.

As a parent to a teenage daughter with alternative tastes Blue Banana has got to be the ideal place for her to shop, I admit I love their products as well! Everything is well made and the staff at our local store are extremely friendly and helpful. They do a great choice of hair dyes as well.

Hair dye great price. But bought a segment ring which said opal and its only on half of one side which looks stupid in my lip. Have responded said they need to update description or give photos of both side and never heard back from them.

They told me my piercing I got done by them wasn’t infected…I went to a pharmacist and it actually was. I was then referred immediately to the GP and the doctor had informed me that if had left it, it would have become something even more serious. I got my daith pierced 9 months ago at Blue Banana, it was healing well and the piercer told me that I can change the jewellery after 6 months. I waited an extra 3 just to be safe, and a few weeks after I changed I started experiencing pain due to extreme swelling. I went to Blue Banana and they stated that it was not infected and I just need to clean it. I still wasn’t convinced so I went to a pharmacist and without hesitation she said it was infected, and that if I had left it longer untreated it would have turned into something more serious. Not gonna lie don’t listen to them listen to a pharmacist.

came in yesterday to get my nose pierced, staff are very friendly and helpful, piercing turnt out lovely, the piercer was also very friendly and made you feel very calm and talked you through everything before hand. 5 stars!!

I went into Reading not planning to get a piercing. However, upon chatting with the friendly staff and seeing the lovely jewellery I was SO tempted. There was no pressure or hard sell, so I decided to think about it.

As I pootled around town. I was surprised to see how many shops now offer piercing with a needle. Most of them free with a purchase. I had a chat with all of them, and none had the knowledge or confidence that made me want to stay and get a piercing with them. One of them was even piercing in the shop, in full view. This made me very uncomfortable.

I made my way back to Blue Banana, who charged £15. I believe experience and knowledge is very much worth paying for, and this was a very fair price. Bella was available to see me. I was shown to a private treatment room, and Bella changed into uniform and wore appropriate PPE. While I was deciding where to have the piercing I looked at therapeutic placement. I decided to have a Shen Men piercing in the hope it'll have a calming side effect (which I'm sure will make my family happy). Bella took time to ensure we got the placement just right. Despite it being a cartilage piercing it's been surprisingly pain free. She was very patient and gentle which filled me with confidence.

I'm now thinking about having more holes in my other ear as soon as I can. Wholeheartedly recommended. Thank you all at BB.
