Harshitha Shivamallappa was super helpful in restoring our website after it got wiped during a hosting transfer. Super stressful times and the response late in the evening was prompt and, very happily, successful.

I really love the way they’re getting…

I really love the way they’re getting AI for tasks that can be undertaken, which don’t require a human human being they are very clear very quick of dealing with issues. I also like the fact that they can also have a human being because sometimes it’s a question of understanding the finesse of human to human language.

I just switched over to Bluehost but I…

I just switched over to Bluehost but I am not happy with the process of setting up my email, in fact I haven't been able to yet. To set it up I am asked to move my gmail over to bluehost but I do not want to do that as it is my personal email and bluehost will be my business email. How do I get past that as I don't have the email set up which I have paid for?

failed to transfer my domain from Go…

failed to transfer my domain from Go Daddy in a timely manner so Go Daddy sold our domain to another company and refused to reimburse us the money spent to establish on Blue Host - never again do not recommend

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We understand how frustrating this situation must feel, especially when it involves your domain.

After reviewing the account and your interactions with support, we do support the findings that were previously shared with you. We don’t see any indication of a transfer being initiated prior to the one in March. At that time, several emails were sent outlining that the domain was locked, along with the steps needed to proceed—including providing the authorization code required for transfer.

During your conversation with support, it was also noted that GoDaddy had requested a payment before they would release the domain. While domains and hosting can be managed separately, if a domain lapses with the registrar, there are limitations on what can be done from our side.

We’d recommend continuing to work with GoDaddy regarding the domain or connecting back with Bluehost support to explore any available options moving forward.

I've been with bluehost a very long time. They always respond to my needs and wants quickly efficiently. Intelligently. I have multiple domains and my website and email are always up. When I call I get to a helpful person quickly For a person that hates to be on hold, that really means a lot to have quick efficient service. Bluehost is number one with me. Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. We understand how frustrating it can feel to be making monthly payments and not seeing the website live as expected.

After reviewing the account, we can see there hasn’t been a login in several months. It appears you haven't gone through the entire set up that was provided in that Welcome email. We also see the monthly charge is for email services and monthly notifications regarding that service have been sent since October.

When accessing the account, there is a banner under the Websites section noting that the site is currently on a temporary domain and the domain you provided here is not that. If you’d like that domain connected it can be added there. We also noticed a prompt in the Email section requesting a domain connection as well.

It looks like getting the domain connected may be the key next step followed by email. We’d recommend reaching out to support if you have any questions, as they can walk you through it directly and help point you in the right direction.
