30th wedding anniversary

Upgrading my ring for our 30th wedding anniversary so I started looking at multiple sites. I’ve ordered from Blue Nile in the past and now they have stores you can go into to look in person so I booked an appt at the Charlotte, NC (happened to be in town). I worked with Jenifer Deese and she was amazing! Went back & forth until we found the perfect fit. She was patient & very knowledgeable. I would definitely purchase from Blue Nile again. The customer service is outstanding.

Loose stones and NO Warranty coverage

It is so disappointing to decide to purchase a nice ring from Blue Nile, and then have to deal with stones falling out constantly. I've lost two stones from my ring in a year and a half. They DO NOT cover stone replacement on any warranty. Even the ones you pay extra to purchase. You must send it back into them to repair without knowing how much it will cost to repair, AND pay $30 for return shipping back to you. Save yourself a headache and a lot of money and purchase from a local jeweler.

So it seems Blue Nile has verified my above sentiments. I have had rings from 3 other jewelers for years. NONE of them have lost stones out of their settings from "normal wear and tear". I will not purchase from Blue Nile again.

Recommended for Engagement Rings

Experience inside the store at Mall at Millenia was incredible. So many options, so much information, and incredible suggestions. Cameron worked with me and my soon to be fiance and really made the experience smooth, organized, and made us feel cared for. I recommend setting up an appointment so you can try everything on.

Shipping date was missed

Shipping date was missed. Twice. I noticed that the necklace had not shipped on the promised date. I called customer service and they promised it would ship the following day which would have gotten it to me in time. It missed the following day as well. I called customer service again and they said that there was a mistake made on a batch of orders and somehow this same mistake was compounded and the batch missed shipping on a second day. This was disappointing as it meant that I did not have my gift on the date that we exchanged gifts as a family. So I did not have a gift for my wife.

The ring was beautiful with very quick shipment and immediately took my payment. The problem is the return process. Shipped the ring back was received on December 30 not actually credited with it being received until January 2. Was then told that refund could take 3 to 4 weeks if not, six weeks because of the holiday volume. That part, I’m not happy with.

Service by your staff in Salem NH…

Service was excellent by your staff in Salem NH location, multiple selection of rings, quality of stones, all at competitive prices. Also, pleased with every BN purchase over the years.
Only issues this time are ring size 7 too loose though same size for different ring in store fit. Purchased ring not able to resize so searching for ring buffer online. Also, purchased “actual diamond” version vs lab diamond however appraisal sent made no mention of authenticity of diamond.
Otherwise, my fiancée happy.
