Amazing experience at Bluetit East Village. Iris and John were both amazing in their respective colour and cuts. Always come away happy with the results!

I have had another amazing visit to BlueTit @Dalston with Patric. Exceptional service, high professionalism, great attention to detail and amazing results (as always) Couldn't recommend more the salon & experience, as well as Patric's master hair-cutting & styling skills.

Visited the streatham branch and had the worst haircut I’ve ever had. I have wavy hair and asked for a long bob finishing just above my shoulders and ended up with a really short bob that finishes at my chin with terrible uneven layers. I would normally feel bad about leaving a negative review but I am going to have to wear my hair half up to hide the damage whilst it grows out and am praying it looks better in time for a friends wedding in a few weeks. Very disappointing

Had a lovely post-lockdown experience at Blue Tit in Stratford with Iris. I felt safe in her hands even though I had long dark roots to fix / bleach after lockdown.

I was really happy with the colour and would definitely book in with her again!

I visited the brixton branch today for my first haircut/colour in a long time - Andrea helped me work out what would be best for my hair and I’m so happy with the results! I got a full head balayage and the colour is perfect - my hair also feels much more healthy. She also gave me great advice about products to prevent breakage. So pleased with the results and will definitely be back!! :)

I went to Bluetit East Village and had a level 2 stylist. My hairdresser, although lovely, didn't manage to get any volume into my flat hair and I found bits which were longer than all the rest when I got home. Definitely not worth the £70 I paid.

I have been going to Bluetit Streatham for several years and am really happy every time I go. The staff are friendly and welcoming and care about making every client look their best. The hair products smell lovely. I'm really glad to see them back up and running as Covid restrictions lift.

I've previously had my haircut twice at the Brixton branch but sadly my original hairdresser left. I booked Stevie to have my hair cut a few days ago and what can I say.. she did an amazing job. So good I instantly booked her again. She really helped me figure out what type of cut I wanted. Not just that she curled my hair so well, I usually don't go for a curl but she did it in such a nice way it really suited me. Great customer service too, she explained all the hair products that were used on my hair and she offered me drinks throughout the appointment. A-m-a-z-i-n-g head massage too must I add! (Also a lovely thing I've noticed after the appointment compared to other hair salons, I can definitely tell the products are such good quality/ suit my hair. Usually I end up washing my hair the day after as it gets so greasy but since going to Blue Tit I usually wash it on the third day after leaving.)

Recently I've been so fed up with how my hair looks and due to lockdown did it myself. I really liked it at 1st but I knew it wasn't the colour I was after.
As soon as the salons opened I was on the phone and was lucky enough to get a spot within the same month with Sofi who is a level 2 stylist. I went for my patch test and talk through what I wanted to achieve and was really happy with how Sofi took my inspiration images and tailored her thoughts on how she would make my hair a reality. 2 weeks later and I'm in the hair slightly nervous because It's my 1st time in a styling chair and getting a colour done by a professional - Me and Sofi looked over the images again and she talked me through the process and put my mind at ease. I had a full head of balayage and the whole process took 4 hours, it was a long but once the foils came off and my hair had been washed, the colour even when wet was what I wanted. As my hair got dryer the colour was getting even better!! I honestly couldn't stop grinning like the Cheshire cat! I'm so happy with my hair and really can't wait to get it done again in a couple of months!! such a great experience and my hair looks amazing! Thank you so much SOFI!!!! You are my hairy god mother!! xx

Need to update booking system! I was happy to see there was a slot available for the following week, I booked it online through the website and received an email confirmation.
I then received a call to say my booking is inaccurate and would need to change my appointment. This was extremely frustrating as I had already changed my plans for this particular appointment time!

I went to Blue Tit in Streatham. The salon is really nice and vibey. However, I had the worst highlight job I have ever received. My husband asked me when I got home “oh I thought you were going to have your hair done?” - he couldn’t even notice that I had been at the hairdresser for 4hours getting my roots highlighted.

I went back a couple weeks later for him to try and correct it, and ended up leaving with burnt hair!!! The peroxide was clearly too strong and now I am still struggling 6months later with short broken/burnt hair around my fringe.

HUGE waste of money and one of the worst hair highlighting jobs I have ever had!!

Best hairdressers in London! My hair is cut by Mads. Such a nice person & very creative. Love my cuts with him, he’s great. Definitely recommend.

After a radical change of hair,I actually Googled "How to Find a Good Hairdresser" and I found Blue Tit! I read everything written about them and their ethical standing on the environment, the awards they have won,how they train their staff...and I was very excited. Just had my second cut with Chris in their Dalston Salon..again I'm thrilled with it. The salon is lovely warm welcoming, as are the staff.Chris is a great stylist and even though he had seed me before,still took the time to ask how I found my hair after the last cut and what I wanted this time!..nothing is assumed!
Please try them out... so much to gain if your hair matters to.you x

Highly recommend Iris, who has recently started at the East Village salon, for a men's haircut.

Sofi cut my hair, I was going from long to short so it was an important one and she did an amazing job! super friendly and her confidence and charm made the experience incredible :) Will definitely be asking for her again next time!

Colour transformation of my dreams! I had a half a head of highlights and a toner (which was added after I described what I wanted) Andrea seemed to completely see into my brain and give me exactly what I was wanting. A lovely fresh natural blonde. I also had my first professional cut for months from lovely Areeb. Thanks team for giving me pre Christmas happiness!!

Had a cut and colour by Perry at the Peckham salon. I'd been looking for a hairdresser in London for quite some time and this ticked all the boxes. Great service, atmosphere and was well looked after throughout. Would recommend both the salon, and Perry as a stylist.

My 1st visit at the salon today, my stylist was Nikki, she was amazing. She constantly made sure I was happy throughout, actually listened to what I wanted and left the salon very happy! Will definitely be returning, highly recommend

Haircut by Andrea @Brixton Bluetit

I had my hair done by Andrea and I can't be happier! I used to have really long hair and decided to go for a short cut this time (big challenge!). Andrea gave me some advice on how to style my hair, took her time in making sure that everything was perfect and the result was amazing. Great experience, I will definitely come back! Thanks Andrea :)
