Excellent service and excellent product android 10 unit fitted to bmw e92 couldn't be happier with it.

Absolutely the worst service ever!

Ordered a Android unit, paid £400, only to be told it's not in stock. No mention of this on their website.

Was told it'll arrive before new year's eve (2021, so around 5 days).
I was doing all the chasing to find out what's happening.

In the end, I got fed up and asked for a full refund.

Avoid this company like the plague.

There's another company that provide the same stuff these guys do, and they're much better. They had the stock and I got my order within 48 hours. Google them.

Great system, really slick.
Installed ourselves but got stuck, so contacted the guys in Derby, who were really really helpful.
Sorted out most of the problems by phone but as we were not able to solve every niggle so we drove down to see them and they went over and above to sort the problems.
All done and really happy.

I decided against buying a new BMW and just decided to upgrade the media unit. After visiting for just a demonstration from Dennis, I couldn’t resist purchasing the media unit for my BMW F30, and for good measure, they installed a reverse camera for me at a discount price.

I ordered the Falcon Android Screen and other items from Bayern Mods after going over to see them and see the Android screen being demonstrated and other add ons available for my BMW 1 series F20. I had a few questions regarding the installation and what it could do including the Apple 🍎 CarPlay option and Rear Parking Camera.
The Android system they sold me is flawless! The touch screen is very responsive and its definately a huge upgrade from the standard 6.5" factory fitted screen and good essential upgrade 👍🏼
Overall:- The customer service they provide is very good and the Android screens they sell are great quality and looks the business 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

My E61 535d was deficient of both sat nav and bluetooth, the android head unit rectified both of these issues. The product is excellent and furthermore the guys excelled in customer service. I ordered the head unit on monday (late at night) and it arrived on thursday. Easy to install and instantly made the car feel more modern. Sadly i ordered the wrong model but after installing the unit and realising it wasnt doing what it should the guys quickly replied once i messaged them. They went through some comprehensive troubleshooting over the phone and tried hard to rectify my issues. Sadly not to be but to their credit they offered me a one to one session to establish the problem (this involved a trip to Derby to see them in person). When i visited them it was quickly established that i had ordered the wrong unit (cic not ccc) without any hassle they swapped the unit and ensured everything was perfect prior to leaving them. First class customer service and clearly knowledgable regarding these units. Now very happy with the purchase and all working fine. Would highly recommend these guys.

A very honest review...

So I bought a head unit for my 2012 F10. My oem screen is the smaller one of the two options.

Bayern sent out my first order very promptly next day delivery, despite a mistake on my part upon accidentally clicking collection.

The first head unit was incorrect, and didn’t fit my vehicle, once I figured this out and made Bayern aware, they quickly apologised, rectified and explained why the wrong unit was sent - No issues at all

Fitting the unit is fairly straight forward, there was no physical instructions however a video link to YouTube was sent to me which helped massively. I did feel some of the connection specifically the large block shaped one that converts the Android unit to connect to the OEM radio was a bit fiddly, and didn’t fit properly, however still works.

Once the unit was up and running, initial thoughts, this is great, looks amazing, touch screen worked well, however the good bits stop there.

Most of the menu options look good but don’t really have any value, most of them just take you back to the original idrive rather than a new fresh menu. The old idrive is ugly! It’s either the original menu with an added black square with white lines which shows fuel in litres and speed. However despite changing the units from kph to mph, the speed remains in kph.... doing 70mph on the dash, reads at 120mph on the screen. It’s either that of have the original idrive screen stretched across the new lengthy screen.

The best part, is the Apple car play which I had to paid extra for. It’s wireless and normally works seamlessly. I have had a few issues in relation to connectivity, every now and then it doesn’t connect for what ever reason, and I can’t find a way of re connecting without turning my car on and off again as there is no way to reset the head unit as far as I’m aware. Other than that, I strongly recommend Apple car play!

I’ve had a few issues whereby the unit just freezes every now and then or the apps crash.

I also ordered DAB radio however don’t use this option even after paying extra. It didn’t pick up the signal well, however this could be purely down to user error. I played with the antenna a bit but found For the best signal, it had to be either held in my hand or placed in the middle on the window, which looks messy and I refused to do.

The gps that comes with the unit, despite following the instructions in the video, doesn’t connect at all. Pointless.

It’s a good idea however has quite a few flaws, I wouldn’t say it’s worth all the money. It may be worth paying a bit extra to get the company to fit it however can’t guarantee if this would change anything.

An alright product, just don’t get your hopes up

Went to the london branch yesterday to get a falcon screen fitted with reverse camera. Best thing money can buy and excellent service strongly recommend.

Happy with the services, bought it for my partner as birthday gift and he's very happy with it as is doing what he was expecting.

I purchased an Android screen, Reverse camera and a GPS splitter for my 320i from BMods. The communication was on point and they kept me updated on my order throughout. Installation was done by them and took no time at all! The service was excellent and they were polite and friendly talking me through on how to use the screen. Anyone with a BMW should definitely pay a visit to these guys!
