Heating system repair and Hive installation

Michael at Boilergurus installed a Hive and repaired our heating system. He worked late to identify and fix several issues that had been botched by a previous plumber. When he finished everything was working again and he left the boiler cupboard cleaner and tidier than when he arrived. Recommended.

I cannot recommend boilergurus enough

I cannot recommend boilergurus enough. They were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Communication from Lydia was amazing and very honest, as was the installation of the new boiler done by Michael.
I am so glad I came across boilergurus as I received numerous quotes with a lot of companies saying I needed all sorts done, but Michael and Lydia were very honest and explained that that was not the case.
It was a fast turnaround and painless process, I will definitely be using Lydia and Michael again!!!

Boilergurus repaired my leaking boiler. Amazingly they diagnosed it remotely and arrived with the part and carried out my boiler repair at reasonable price. Very experienced and reliable local gas engineers!

Boilergurus gave us an amazing service

Boilergurus gave us an amazing service. They were absolutely professional & caring. I have been going through a nightmare insurance process for our flooded bathroom, and they were very knowledgeable to help me through the process as i had never been through a claim before. They gave me options and explained it to me step by step. They also gave me a very detailed quotation and included photos as well to explain exactly what they needed to do. We live quite far away and they still came to see us, late on a sunday. They got back to me whenever I called, even out of hours, and kept me up to date with the plan. Their engineers are very clean and tidy and they have done a great job. They even went over and beyond what they promised to do as they found another issue during their visit regarding our kitchen hot water pipe and they manged to fix that as well without extra cost as they had the parts and were there for the day anyway. They were very reasonable. We will definitely be using boilergurus again. Thank you so much !

I called Boilergurus to address a…

I called Boilergurus to address a faulty cylinder installation in my customer’s home in Farnborough, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. The team not only efficiently rewired the electrics but also went above and beyond by replacing the old cylinder with a Gledhill cylinder and installing a new Nest system.

Their expertise was evident from the moment they arrived, and they handled the entire process with professionalism and precision.

The new Gledhill cylinder has been performing flawlessly, and the Nest system has made managing my customer’s home’s heating and hot water very convenient. I’m incredibly impressed with the level of service provided by Boilergurus and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a boiler or central heating repair or replacement. Their attention to detail, expertise, and commitment to customer service set them apart from the rest. A job well done!

Tried to contact this company for hours…

Tried to contact this company for hours regarding my boiler pressure dropping, didn’t reply via email or text for two days so went with another firm. When they did reply it was barrage of aggressive voicemails from a female, service not recommended and plenty of fake unverified reviews to boot on cowboy sites when looked into further. Steer clear!

Firstly, you are claiming Google and CheckaTrade handle your inquires but also claim direct email and sms do? I honestly think you are possibly confused and you are receiving push notifications from these sites, I do not fault you for this as it is very confusing.

However, notifications are not these sites handling your jobs. Google does not text message or email customers and neither do CheckaTrade, I hope this helps in future for your company. You have direct email and text and that is what I tried to contact you through.

You do not have my name because you did not accept nor decline the job and my email is not in my legal name, you only contacted me through Whatsapp via voicemail after getting my number through my initial message/inquiry to you. Please, check your portals again.

You are putting words into my review I did not write, please re-read my original review. As for inquiring for a screenshot of your message back, that is 50% of the problem, I did not hear from you and you didn’t respond for two days. And when you did it was via Whatsapp, it was a barrage of voicemails demanding a reply and “if I even still wanted the job done” in a very aggressive tone as if I was wasting your time. I cannot upload video/audio to Trust Pilot but if I am able to, I will.

I also did not say weeks later, I said two days after I initially inquired, which is true. You are again putting words into my review, please re-read it.

A review is it not defamation, you are a public company and this was my experience, unfortunately again this is some of the aggressive attitude I encountered.

I did not ask to be harassed by your company and gave my honest experience with your company to help others, that is the point of review sites and in response you knowingly used the flag function in attempt to take down my review. Before then trying to drown my review and push up your ratings by spamming positive reviews.

As for only using Google and CheckaTrade, I am honestly quite taken aback at the boldness of this claim, being that when googled, your company is on many sites and this site? I know because not only is this public information but I found your company initially from Yell and then onto your website. Not CheckaTrade or Google.

These companies of which also do not call to “cross examine” customers on their reviews/jobs; these are multi-billion companies with thousands/millions of employees in some cases, they do not have the time nor reason to do this for your plumbing company. This is a very odd claim, Boilergurus and a very “word salad” response in all.

All of these sites, including Google & CheckaTrade I may add, do not require phone number verification and allow users to create many accounts, of which would be perfect for the many newly created accounts that seemingly have very lovely things to say about your company but seemingly are never used again and are seemingly copy pasted between sites.

As for being in Spain, I live between Spain and Old Woking. However, regardless of this I do not need to tell you my permanent residence, you are a plumbing company paid to do a job (or lack there of in this case). I find it quite concerning that you would coerce customers/potential customers into divulging sensitive information that you do not need to know.

Please, I would suggest again for fellow genuine customers reading this & searching for tradesmen, to go with someone not on cowboy sites & that do not allow actual verification and do your research before contacting. I regret contacting this company and wish I had looked further into them, go with someone reputable and known. I beg to think of a poor senior aged customer not knowing these things and being victim to this.

Hi Shirley, we have never been contacted by you. All our enquires are logged by Google or Checktrade. Every single enquiry is sent by
sms and emailed to us and we then are obliged to either ‘accept’ a job or ‘decline’ it, which is logged by these portals and we have to provide a reason why we are declining a job - but yet curiously, we cannot find your name anywhere. When we accept a job, the first step is we have to reply to all enquires via our business WhatsApp or email, as the first step of contact and response to all enquiries. These are all clearly documented by the portals database. Please send us a screenshot of how you made an enquiry - what platform did you make this alleged enquiry on? Where is our message back to you or the email from them? We cannot simply have your number if it hasn’t been sent by them. It does not make sense that if you claim we did not respond for days, that then - days or weeks later we would make the effort to suddenly call you to shout at you - for what purposes and on what premise ? No company or human would call anyone up and hurl abuse at them if no prior communication had ever been made. If there had been no communication as you claim, what foundation would ‘a barage of abuse’ be based on? Why would a company be angry at a customer they have never spoken to before?

This is quite illogical and demonstrates that this is an erroneous review and defamation of Boilergurus. You have either got your various companies confused, or this is deliberately aimed at harming the 5 star rating of our company for unknown or personal reasons.

What ‘fake reviews’ on which ‘cowboy websites’ you referring to? We only get reviews on Google and Checkatrade - the latter call up every single customer to cross examine them about job, the date, cost and of course log the initial enquiry in the first place. There are no other websites we have reviews on other that these, so once again, you must be confused about who we are.

Boilergurus have never had boiler breakdown enquiry from you Mdm.

Finally, your Trustpilot account is publicly listed and registered in Spain ‘ES’. We do not work in Spain nor have any customers who live there. We have occasional landlords and owners based in USA and India who own properties in UK but we have never had any landlords or customers based in Spain. We have no record of you Mdm and you are not one of our customers and you have not made any enquiry with Boilegurus Limited. You have got your companies mixed up with one in Spain.

Boilergurus repaired my Ideal boiler It…

Boilergurus repaired my Ideal boiler It had no pressure. They also did a landlord gas safety certificate and repaired my shower, replaced a shower screen and installed a bathroom sink and vanity unit and siliconed my shower and bathroom. I am very happy with their service ! Highly recommend them for boiler repairs and plumbing !
