They are a rip off and they charge around 170 pound per hour of labour. The parts they have order are charged at 400 pounds but I have checked that they only caused around 90 pounds on screw fix

This is a very dishonest business that take advatnage of the situation. At the end, we called the police

I dealt with this company in 2022 and put up a detailed review which they've waited 2 years to levy the false claim of defamation against, as a result my review was taken down.

Two years on, personally I'd still recommend that you avoid this company at all costs. They still owe me £640 for uncompleted work. Once again here is my May 2022 review:

I called Boiler Repairs R Us round to check out our boiler that kept tripping out the related fuse box switch, the call out guy made the diagnosis quoting a total of just over £1500 for the diagnostic, parts and following labour.

The day the repair man was supposed to come round and carry out the repairs, he simply left the parts in the porch(yes, you read that correctly) claiming that he'd been knocking on the door for 25 minutes but nobody responded(nobody knocked on my door).

When I questioned him as to why he didn't ring my mobile, he didn't have a response. Unfortunately, Boiler Repairs R Us managed to syphon £800 from me, though it could've been much more.

In the end I had to get a completely new boiler fitted by British Gas who informed me that the previous boiler Boiler Repairs R Us were supposed to repair was totally irreparable.

As I've stated above, my personal recommendation is that you give Boiler Repairs R Us an extremely wide berth, however if you're unfortunate enough to book them before reading this review, ALWAYS use a credit card, NEVER use cash with them. That way you'll always have an avenue of reimbursement should they choose to engage in any questionable activities.

Note that my first review was made in May 2022, yet the company themselves didn't bother to respond to anything written here until February 2023.

Great communication from start to finish and great price. Arrived on time, worked well and swiftly. Got my boiler back up and running plus gave me some extra tips to keep it working well!
