I subscribed for 24 hours for 29 kr but next payment was automatically deducted from my account after 24 hours. If I wanted for a month or longer, I would take that subscription in a first place.

The portal does not includ a relaiable information about the option to have pets in the apartemant advertised. since in Denmark there very few places that alow pets it is a crucial information for pets holdrs

A lot of choices, the map system is good.
While sometimes I may not have enough confidence to ensure that the owner is not a scammer. If you can tell what does Biolportal exactly do to protect us , that will be much better.

The website performs exceptionally well in a wide range of aspects, surpassing other Danish sites. However, there is a need to enhance communication with property owners, as 80% of inquiries do not receive a response. This leaves users unsure about the availability of properties and whether their messages have been read. It is crucial to request updated photos of the interior of the properties, in addition to the exterior, especially for individuals residing outside of Denmark. This will provide a better understanding of the properties beyond just their architectural plans.

The lady I spoke to was kind, and understanding and helped me get the ad active immediately.

They only have "forever subscription", which is a bad start.
They can see when an account was last used.
They do not notify, ever, if an account has been inactive for a long time, to give the buyer a heads-up that they are still paying.
They argue that they do notify, by sending a receipt, to the _inactive_ boligportal.dk account.
If the above shady behaviour wasn't there, then I would have given a much more positive review.
Update:
Boligportal, if you ever change your business practices, to something where you have the customer in focus, then please reach out by email, and I'l change this review, to reflect your improvements.
Until that happens, I have to strongly recommend any renter to unsubscribe, as the _first_ thing, after you signed up, to make sure you do not get screwed over, when you, for a limited time, need some of the payed services.

They might not be perfect, but they provide the most updated listings from all the other competitors.

Great service, easy communication with the owner, and I got a flat within 2 days. It's pretty much the only website I've been using since I arrived in Denmark.

No customer care, definitely not recommended ! Be careful if you don't speak Danish, the English button is at the bottom of the homepage and the subscription gets automatically renewed via your credit card !

I have mixed feelings about this housing rental platform. On the one hand, it helped me find rentals twice in the past 6 years, which is good. When the platform provides you with a solution that leads you to your new home, you cannot complain really. However, I am not new to boligportal and have been lurking there for more than these 6 years. I saw the changes added to it and I am not liking it very much. In particular:
* the decrease from 3 to 1 day of the initial trial
* the greyed out correspondence if you happen to be past the expiration of your subscription.
So say you write to a landlord and the day after, your subs had expired, there is no chance to see any reply since you can't see anything clearly in your messages. This forces to resubscribe for at least a month when there is potentially no need at all.
* the other thing I dislike, and that's not really the platform's fault, is the hijacking of the rental market by dubious companies that are inflating the prices to the moon, and one has no chance to check who they are (but you can still see the number of ads they had published and how long they used the platform, so you can always infer if it is the same company you are dealing with). Knowing which company sits behind an ad and being able to blacklist those you don't want to deal with would be a move back in the right direction for this platform.
Another improvement that would be nice: add a satellite picture of the map, like .e.g lejebolig.dk does.

Thanks for your feedback. Interesting tidbits in your response. While I understand the business model of boligportal, I do remember that many years ago, you had a 3 days trial on a new account. What I find weird is not the reduction of the trial period but the following:
- creating an account is completely free, which is of course nice. When you pay the initial trial period for contacting a landlord, it used to be that you could still correspond with whoever replied to your request, even after the trial period. What was no longer possible after expiration was writing to a new one, which requires the full subscription. So what I find odd is the possibility to write to a landlord within the trial period and not be able to correspond, should the landlord reply to you after the expiration. What would be the point of the trial then ? It makes little sense. Especially if the landlord's answer is to reject your request: it would be an expensive reject if you wanted to know what the landlord replied. So the trial as such is pretty much useless unless you're lucky to strike a deal within 24 hours.
So I do think this trial should provide full access to the service within 24 hours + ability to continue corresponding with the landlords you managed to contact, say for an extra week. If boligportal's business team thinks it would occasion a loss of profit, I would think it would rather give a good impression on newcomers. Finding a rental in a week nowadays is pretty much a miracle anyway, I don't think there would be any loss. And I repeat: a trial of 24h is fine (though a decrease from what it used to be is still a bit of a downer) but a greyed-out correspondence not giving the newcomer a chance to see the feedback within a certain period of a few days is completely pointless and shines a bad light on the business model.
Finally, regarding the biggest rental companies out there, as I said, it is not the fault of the platform. What I suggested was if boligportal could make it clear what companies are proposing the rentals (not talking about the individual private landlord, this should remain anonymous and restricted to the correspondence between the landlord and requesting seekers). I am saying this because some of these companies are a nogo, and deserves to be boycotted. Knowing which companies are behind some ads as a rental seeker and subscriber of your platform would allow one to simply bypass these ads (ignore-list kinda thing).

The worst service to use ever. I didn't get any email about being charged soon for the next month.
As soon I saw my bank transaction(1day after) I cancelled it and wrote to support about mistake. I was said I can send goodbye kiss to my 339 dkk.
Don't make my mistake, cancel right away after activation, or even better choose analog website which sending email notification about charging soon.

As a landlord:
I have placed an add for renting out a room which is still "waiting approval" after 3 days.
As a tenant:
Dont bother using the map feature, you'll never get a reply. Only send messages to the newest adds

You pay, you get.
It's a bit expensive as for an online
bolig agent, but it definitely works fast and efficient. People/companies reply fast.
If one is in real need to find a place asap, this is the option.

Was able to quickly find a room among the vast selection of houses offered on the site. Also, landlords responded very quickly, in under 24 hours for the houses I contacted.

Boliportal was autodeducting my money without any notification. The subscription went on for 3 months extra although I did not needed it. Too much money wasted.
