Ordered a pair of shorts. They were way too big, bigger than stated on the size guide on website. Tried to refund online to find out the item can’t be returned. (Never not been able to return an item of clothing I ordered online from anywhere). Anyway, contacted customer services to inform them I want a refund. They responded saying they can’t find my order and asked for my order number and email address, which I had already included in my first email! Anyway…I emailed the info over… Been over a week now and I’ve still not heard. Terrible customer service.

I requested a refund for an item and was only presented with the option to receive the refund by gift card. I attempted to get in touch with customer services to resolve this however they are slow to reply and do not help at all, I even had evidence to show that there was no option to receive the refund to the original payment method but they didn’t care. On top of this they wouldn’t get my name right even when I corrected them. Luckily my bank have said they will do a chargeback as they have to offer a cash refund but this whole process has put me off. I used to like boohoo but it’s not worth it anymore, I wouldn’t recommend shopping here anymore, they really don’t care about their customers.

Shocking customer service! They simply don't reply. There is no telephone customer service you can call, you can only send messages which they don't reply to. I will never use BoohooMan again or recommend to anyone, it's to much unnecessary stress. I simply want a refund for an undelivered order. I might receive a generic response to this review telling me to contact customer services ...if only it was that easy!

Boohooman.. What an experience.
Customer service that’s nowhere too be found. Items that break or have bad quality and the fact I had to send them my ‘POP’ or my return label for 7 times all for an item of €25-€35,- euros. While other items in the same package were already processed.
And to fill you in, my order was in november 2025.

Ordered January 23rd. Order got delayed and asked me to wait for few more days. No order found. According to your non existent Customer service, the order was missing and you will issue the refund and gave the date to expect it on my card. You guys are the one moving the date of the refund dated March 2, then told me to wait till March 9 then moved again to March 16. NOTHING! Even provided bank statements from my bank, and No refund issued. Your agents told me they will escalate this issue and all are lies! Then i message today March 18, the reply was you are telling me that you guys received the order back on your warehouse with all the item i ordered and you issued the refund and telling me that you cannot investigate further? Coz its been more than a month since my order was refunded. I keep following up with you guys, you reply the next day with the same exact reply to wait for the response because you guys escalated the case.
Where is my money? Its not my fault. I didnt get any package and no refund. Called the bank and NO REFUND ISSUED. Prove me that you issued the refund and send me the Refund transaction number and i will forward it to the bank! You stole my money! Worst purchase experience i had in my life. Bought a giftcard and it won't work. Back and forth through Facebook messenger by different people who DON'T or CAN’T read and keep asking me the same questions. I was given a card with 19 digits although the site only accepts 16 digits. I just want a replacement giftcard but like I said they're incompetent in reading and doing something about it!!

I ordered some jogging bottoms.
The items arrived and looked nothing like what was advertised. As a result I decided to return the items via BooHoo online portal.
I was shocked to see that not only did I have to pay for delivery which were high for the slow service but I then discovered that I was being charged to return the items.
All in all I have the pleasure of paying approximately £6 to look at some joggers which were poor quality and not as advertised, to add salt in the wound it has taken over a week to actually get my partial refund back.
Lesson learnt, I will not be using this company again.

The worst customer service possible, sent me an item that is a different size to what I ordered and is non returnable, days later you finally agree I can return it after four/five days of non response, only for the link provided (to Debenhams) not to work.

I am writing again regarding order MUK130186521, as my previous messages do not appear to be addressing the actual issue I am trying to resolve.
Four clothing items were mistakenly included in a return parcel sent to your warehouse. These items do not belong to BoohooMAN; they are from another retailer (Valere Milano). As a result, these items are now in your warehouse, and I need them returned to my address so that I can send them back to the correct company.
I have already provided the tracking number and full details, but I have now been waiting since 06/03 without any update, despite sending several follow-up emails, as well as messages via Facebook and WhatsApp.
To clarify, I need assistance with the following:
Locating the four Valere Milano items that were mistakenly returned in my parcel.
Arranging for those items to be sent back to my address, as they are not BoohooMAN products.
This matter is quite urgent because the items need to be returned to the correct retailer. I would appreciate it if someone could please review my case and contact me so this can be resolved as soon as possible.

Great value for clothes and lots of choice, but.... you'd better not change your mind or hope the clothes fit you, otherwise you could be out of pocket.
I started a return with them on 13 February and have yet to receive confirmation that they have received my items back which were unworn and still had tags intact (I simply changed my mind), let alone any sign of my money back. Their returns policy clearly states refunds should be processed within 21 days and it has now been over 28 days and they haven't even had the decency to acknowledge the items which I can prove by Post Office receipt were sent to them at 11:06 on 13/02/2026 and it was received at their end on 15/02/2026. I have emailed them to follow up on the status, although I shouldn't have to. Now waiting with bated breath for a reply...
In case I get an update in the app about the status of my return, I have push notifications switched on and I am constantly bombarded with offers and discounts to get me to part with more of my money but they're not very keen on giving it back to you if you send items back for them to resell. If they have queries or concerns with the return, then raise them, don't just do nothing for four or more weeks.
Their returns process/timescale is abysmal. Not to mention, that when I returned items to them last year, they claimed I had only returned 3 items when I had returned 4 and were adamant they only received 3 things. This time I took a photo of what went in the returns bag. Eventually, I gave up because they're awful at communication and just end up ignoring you on their very limited means of contacting them and I had no concrete proof.
Even Amazon are quicker than this and they must have far more returns to deal with than Boohoo. Absolute joke of a returns process.
If you can shop elsewhere, I'd strongly recommend it.
EDIT: Eventually contacted them through Facebook Messenger on 20/03/2026 and they confirmed on 21/03/2026 that my refund would be issued on 22/03/2026. I have had an email from PayPal confirming the refund. Updated just in case they respond to this review to say they'd dealt with it. Yes, only because I'd found another way to contact them - they hadn't responded to this review first or my emails since 13/03/2026 to their Customer Services email address which all went unanswered. Finally resolved but just be mindful of how slow they are at processing refunds.

I sent an item back in October and opted for the gift card refund option as it stated quicker refund & 10% extra to spend. Well it’s now March and I still haven’t received my refund.
I’ve attempted communicating via SMS, Facebook, email and Resolver. 90% of the time my message will be blanked but when it is responded to, it’s the same copy and pasted reply which does not help at all. Avoid this company.

I returned an order using Boohoo’s official InPost return label, and tracking confirmed the parcel was delivered back to their returns hub on 05/02/26. As of today, I still have not received my refund.
When I contacted customer support, I was repeatedly trapped in an endless loop with their AI chatbot. The system kept stating that because the return was “over a month old” they were unable to investigate the issue any further. This response was repeated multiple times with no real assistance provided.
This is extremely concerning, especially when the item was returned through Boohoo’s own returns service and tracking confirms delivery.
The only option left appears to be escalating the issue formally and pursuing a chargeback through my bank.
A company of this size relying on automated responses instead of resolving legitimate customer refund issues is extremely disappointing.
Based on this experience, I would strongly advise customers to think carefully before ordering. If anything goes wrong, you may find yourself dealing with a chatbot rather than receiving proper customer support.
For clarity, the refund was processed significantly outside of the 14-day timeframe required under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
To make this clear to me review page. I received my refund a couple of days after my formal complaint was sent.

Really disappointed with my purchase from BoohooMAN. I bought a tracksuit and the quality is extremely poor. It was already leaving lint on my T-shirts even before I washed it, which shouldn’t happen with a brand-new item.
After the first wash it became even worse — lint everywhere. It ruined other clothes in the wash and made my T-shirts and hoodie look messy and worn. The tracksuit itself already looks old after just one wash, which is very disappointing.
I also tried contacting customer service through WhatsApp but haven’t received any response. Very frustrating experience overall. Definitely not the quality or customer support I expected. 😤

As I can'g reply to Rob, I will leave another comment. Rob, I've been in touch with customer service since the beginning of February. I repeated the issue to Ashton, Carey, Mary, Harper, Jalen, Beck and other customer service agents, to which I kept saying the same thing and nothing has been sorted since February. I'm going to lose £40 as the customer service is incompetent to do their job. Or I can say stole. 🤦♂️
