I ordered some books as a birthday gift for my mother and specifically requested that no pricing information be included with the books, but of course she got the copy of the invoice :( and she was upset that I spent as much as I did.
Books were in excellent condition.

I was very hesitant to order from this company after reading the reviews here. However, I am in the United States and have very limited options when it comes to purchasing Finnish language books that I would like. Most places that have what I want don't ship here. I asked on Reddit about my other options, and the fact that Finnish folks told me this company was trustworthy made me decide to just give it a go and hope for the best.
I placed a small order that came to me very quickly and then a second larger order that also came super fast.
I'm personally very impressed and satisfied with them!
Ordered book, didn't arrive. Contact customer service just get automatic reply, sorry we are so busy. Not good enough, am now trying to get my money back, this might take along time. I will never use them again.
LATEST UPDATE: two weeks went by without hearing a word from the customer service, so I sent a new email mentioning that I would take the case to the Kuluttajansuoja (Consumers’ Union). They answered in a couple of business days and canceled my order. The item is still available on their website, with a dispatch time of “3-6 business days”, which is a lie.

I spend hundreds of euros on books each year and I like to try different stores. There are great stores and bad stores, but so far, this is the worst I’ve ever tried. Not only they don’t adhere to their own dispatch times, but the customer service is basically non-existent. I sent them a message days ago to inquire about my order, and the only thing I received is an automated response informing me they are “handling more messages than usual, therefore it might take a bit longer to answer”. Please notice, I can put up with a 24 hours wait, but in this case, it’s been almost 5 days already.
The worst part of this is that, even if my item hasn’t even been dispatched yet (exceeding their estimated delivery time from the warehouse) I cannot even cancel the order myself and buy the book elsewhere. Guess I’ll have to wait for a response from their non-existent customer service.
Inconveniences and delays might happen, that’s life, but it’s good customer service that always makes the difference. In this case, Booky has failed miserably.
In a nutshell: there are several good bookstores out there, so don’t waste your time and money on this one.
No reaction by customer service (despite several reminders) and no delivery of the ordered product for more than a month.
Poor customer service. Very slow delivery, it takes forever to wait... Ordered a book 2 weeks ago, never got it till now. No reply from the customer service.
I ordered a recent Finnish film at their site and paid expensive 18,60 Euro for shipping a single DVD to Denmark proudly dubted by the company as "EXPRESS BUSINESS DAY PARCEL".
1,5 weeks later --- still no parcel. Customer service contacted. Answer was "We have not received the DVD to our warehouse from the supplier yet. At the time when the order was made, we had estimated delivery time, that we are able to dispatch the product on <2 weeks afte order date>."
Now almost 1 month later still no parcel. Requested my money back. Will order at Amazon. At least there I know from experience they're reliable.

PS Checked on the webpage. The late order date is neatly placed in smallletters at the edge of the info page. Not sure it was there when I ordered. Current expected delivery date displayed there would be in 11 days when ordering today. I waited 20 so far. Nothing happened.
UPDATE: The company now apologized for the late delivery and accepted my request to cancel the order and issue a refund. I have therefore changed the rating
