Axe Throwing
Me and my mates went axe throwing at the Exeter Branch and the host Eloise was absolutely amazing, she really made the experience that much better
Birmingham
Birmingham
My son mistakenly booked this venue in error he meant to book Coventry
He paid £40 for the darts…
After realising he booked again for the correct venue Coventry and paid another £35.
We contacted Birmingham in regards to the incorrect booking they asked for the booking number and confirmed the booking had been cancelled and they would refund my son the £40, this was on the 8th Jan we are now on the 31st still no refund.
There is no contact number online, I’ve emailed a few times without a reply I contacted them on Facebook and they couldn’t help then someone emailed me back asking for confirmation of the booking. I’ve sent a screenshot twice of the booking number with the email confirming the refund, yet again no reply…
I am getting very frustrated my son wants his refund. Very poor customer service and they owe my son £40….

Thank you!!

Stupendous customer service
Gabrielle and Dassa showed me and my friends excellent customer service and were very polite. This was my first time coming and for that sole reason, I will definitely be returning. Thank you so much!
Fantastic experience at the Lakeside…
Fantastic experience at the Lakeside branch. Madison was amazing, helped us with everything. Would definitely recommend.
Bournemouth branch
Poor experience on New Year’s Eve. Booked for 2 adults and one child (11 years old) for 7pm. Was turned away in door as policy is no under 11s before 9pm, so moved the booking. Their no under 11s policy apparently means kids need to be 12 or over. I asked if that means the no under 18s policy meant you need to be 19 where staff explained to me that that means 18 year olds is fine. Staff said booking system was wrong and shouldn’t have let us book and we’re confused about their own age policy. Very disappointing.

(Manchester branch)Great venue and friendly staff!! Recommend
As soon as walking in to the venue I was greeted by the lovely reception/hosts, who were very warm and bubbly, I believe there names were Emily and Courtney. We had a go on the axe throwing (which was my favourite bit) then darts afterwards. The bar staff were great and so was the service of all staff! Definitely will be recommending to friends and family!! :)
Birmingham Branch-Avoid at all costs
Please avoid this place. I have visited Boom Battle Bar in Liverpool and had a great time, staff etc were great so thought I would try Birmingham five ways, i am not exaggerating when I say its the worst service I've ever received.
We had booked 3 activities, Beer Pong, Darts and Shuffle Board. The 1st activity was due to start at 20:15. We arrived at 19:45, and were told the table for Beer Pong was not ready and to check back at 20:15-fair enough, we were early, so we went to grab a drink at the bar. At 20:15 we checked again and were told that all activities were running late and they would find us when our table became free. At 20:45 we finally got our table. 30 mins late, we asked if we would still get our 45 mins and if the following activities would be impacted, we were assured we would get out time and the activities we had paid for . All was fine until around 21:00 when a couple of members of staff approached and told us to leave the table. We obviously questioned this and I told who turned out to be the manger that we didn't get on the table until late, so should still have time remaining. Her response "tough "s**t" I could not believe what I had heard. I asked to speak to the manager, the reply "I am the manger, get off the table"
Next thing I know, I am asked to speak to the doorman, no idea why but I explained the situation and they said all is fine and we were right to expect our time we had paid for. Eventually we went back to playing Beer Pong until about five mins later the doorman approached and said they had been asked by the manager to throw us out, I asked why and they said they had no idea and to try and speak to the manager. We approached and asked what the problem was and apparently we were abusive, complete nonsense! At this point it was clear the manager had some venteda, so we asked for our money back, her reponse "you ain't getting a penny from us" I asked for her name to which she declined.
I'm struggling to describe what happened next, the manger started screaming and waving her arms, accusing people of racism and bellowing at the doorman to get us out.
We spent over £100 for 15 mins of beer Pong, got accused of racism and witness the worst customer service ever. I truly believe the manager is a bully and feel sorry for the people that work with her.
From chatting to the doorman, this sort of thing is common at Boom Battle Bar, Five Ways. Avoid at all costs
Exeter branch.
Exeter branch.
We booked as a party of 10 for a friends birthday, we all signed our wavers without much information from the staff and was given our wrist band and told we would have to wait half an hour before our game started, not a problem so we all thought, so we all went to the bar, we didn't even get half way through our drinks before we were told because we had purchased an alcoholic drink we would no longer be able to do axe throwing, your staff did not explain this when we walked in if they had we definitely wouldn't of ordered alcohol, what takes the p**s more your bar staff clearly seen we had wrist bands on but did not explain this either to any of us, perhaps when your staff put the wrist band on a customer they should point out what it actually says rather then tell us after, we were refused a refund, so I'm donating my £7.50 towards your uneducated staff for training as they obviously need it. One of the worst experiences I have ever had on what was meant to be a fun night out for a friends birthday, definitely wouldn't return again. TRAIN YOUR STAFF BETTER.
O2 BRANCH PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be aware of these…
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be aware of these scammers. I made a booking for axe throwing in the O2 payment was taken but no confirmation was sent to confirm the booking. As they have NO contact number (DODGY )I had to send them an email. Just know when you send them an email they do not rush at all to respond to your email. I had to send about 3 emails in order to get an response. By this time I just wanted a refund as I was not filled with confidence from this company. I finally got a response from Darren Broomhall who told me in order to get a refund it now has to go to their accounts department to action it. A week later no update I had to do the chasing to be told, there was APPARENTLY an issue with issuing refunds. This now got escalated and another person called Katie Louise Manghan sends me an email apologies reassuring me my refund is on its way. ALL NOW I have not received a refund. I raised a complaint which was picked up by Harrison Baker Brown who has now passed the case back to Darren about my refund. They are fully taking the pi** at this point. I’m utterly disgusted and will take this further as they can not get away with scamming people. They clearly are not trying to refund me my refund. I am now treating this as fraud and I have escalated this situation. Just to give you a time scale it has been over a month. Refunds do not take that long.
ABSOLUTE JOKE REFUND ME MY MONEY!!!!!
Fun filled day out
We were greeted by our amazing host Sam, who trained us on axe throwing and kept us entertained the whole way through. Great experience
Liverpool Branch.
Visited the Liverpool branch on a stag do. From the moment we arrived to the minute we left everyone had a top experience, the axe throwing was a great laugh and a good time. The staff are all extremely helpful. We had 2 lads drop out last minute meaning we were £50 out of pocket but they gave us 2 pool tables at £10 per hour for an hour and 2 darts lanes at £25 per hour for an hour which was greatly appreciated. Would definitely go again.
Watford Branch !
Met with friends for a alternate evening to the norm, Although pricey it was a great evening and FULL respect to the Barman Lee, he was run ragged with orders but kept his cool and delivered a first class service to me and other customers
Great venue, lovely staff.
Me and two friends did the Axe Throwing/Pool at the Manchester bar last night and had a great time. The staff were particularly warm and helpful. Shout out to Connal, the Axe Throwing instructor who was very helpful. I was struggling at first but he gave me a few useful tips so I didn't completely embarrass myself in front of the lads. Only issue we had was the back pool table isn't level but apart from that, top venue.
Boom Battle Bar (Ipswich)
I had the pleasure of dealing with Andy the manager of Boom Battle Bar Ipswich, we arrived for Axe throwing and mini golf and he made sure we had the proper instruction and explained how to best play each game.
The venue taken measures to improve and compared to many other places in ipswich they actually seem to take pride in what they do and care about peoples enjoyment.
excellent staff

Amazing experience
