Extremely poor service

Booked online for a hearing test at Boots the Fort , Glasgow 3 January at 9:45am . I was on time and was advised by staff at the opticians service to sit outside what appeared to be a white wooden structure in store amongst the children’s clothing area.
The door clearly said do not disturb , examination in progress . I waited 20 minutes then went back to the opticians service and was advised the hearing service was probably running late and that they had no contact with the hearing service which is poor in itself .Waited another 10 minutes then the staff at the opticians service knocked on the shed door . A lady appeared and said she did not have an appointment for me despite showing her my email confirmation and I was advised to contact Boots HQ. She did not offer me a test so I walk away . The entire process was inefficient , clumsy and totally unsatisfactory and I won’t be contacting HQ .

My mum and I both had hearing tests…

My mum and I both had hearing tests with John. Mum already had NHS hearing aids but they were no good to her. John talked my 84 year old mum through everything and made her feel at ease. Mum gets her new aids this coming week and it will be life changing for her. She trialled a pair in store and she was amazed at the difference especially with background noise. Highly recommend ❤️

Carefully explained at each step

Carefully explained at each step. Friendly approach giving confidence and understanding to a vulnerable person. Great to have family member sharing their experience and sharing in the hearing test. Brought enlightenment to how I have been hearing life previously
