I made an appointment at Lancaster store for my sister to have a full hearing test and purchase hearing aids. Tayyibah was excellent in thoroughly going through the tests, explaining everything. She explained the different types of hearing aids and gave advice, without pushing to sell. We were very happy with the service and would definitely recommend

Good consultation, very poor service after.
Initial consultation was to check hearing, very competent man who told me after taking pictures that there was white lumps on the canal wall and gave me a letter to give to the GP as this needed investigation. The GP requested a copy of the pictures and was told he needed my permission, this was given and email address to send them to GP secretary. The following day the pictures had not arrived so my wife spoke to someone at the Engagement centre to be told they were under no obligation to send the pictures as they were a private company with no obligation to put them on system and ENT should sort this out themselves.
We are left worrying that something sinister may be going on and disappointed with very poor service from Boots Hearing.

07/06/25 Since my last entry, I bought a Roger On 3 hearing device and I am very pleased with it. Many years ago I had one of the original Roger pens and I found it gave me only slight improvements in my hearing, but the new one, Wow! I can now enjoy one-to-one conversations in the car and in restaurants. Not so useful for me in bigger group situations.

1 have nothing but praise for the audiologists who tended to my needs. Unfortunately this does not extend to those responsible for providing moulds. On two occasions orders were placed but moulds not delivered and on another, one of the moulds was too slack. Today’s appointment was cancelled because the moulds have not yet arrived. Frustrating!
Finally, 08/04/2025, many weeks late, I received my new moulds and I am pleased with them. Tayyibah worked hard behind the scenes to avoid further delays and gave me helpful advice re new technologies to improve my hearing. Thank you Tayyibah.
