No Pharmacist on Site for Opening.
Flagship Boots store at the Springs 9.00am opening. Walked in straight to the prescription area for some eye ointment. Couldn't be administered Ointment by the trainee clerk because of no Pharmacist on site. Que begins to develop after being advised that Pharmacist will arrive shortly due to full time pharmacist on holiday. Stand in Pharmacist casually strolls in after 9.15. Has a fiddle around and then begins to attend to customers - no apology for the wait. Perhaps some jovial chit chat to ease the frustration of the wait - no. I asked to see a manager to pass on my frustrations. Just a casual apology and away Katherine went. What appalls me is the standards- a key worker you would think would be told to be on site before opening. Prescriptions need organizing and other staff members left to answer frustrating questions because the need of authorization from a Pharmacist. We are discussing a very busy Chemist, one of the busiest in Leeds. Having worked in retails for 20 years i found the staff lackadaisical without a care for standards. More importantly staff not present for opening time which is a must for a Key worker.

Receptionist did ok. Payment system atrocious. Sill waiting for apology and maybe compensation for major disruption
