Friendly professional and understanding
Professional and conscientious.
Harry at the Maidenhead branch has to be thoroughly recommended for his professionalism . He is very conscientious and explains everything very clearly . Puts you at ease and there is no rush. I had been recommended by at least 5 people to go to Harry @ Boots , and I was not disappointed. A thoroughly lovely young man with an engaging, welcoming smile. I write this review in detail because I’d previously visited another well known High St competitor and their service was exact antithesis .

The Hearing Assistant was clear in his explanation of the different products available following the hearing assessment. Following the fitting of the new hearing aids, reassurance was given for follow-up care.
My only unanswered question was whether or not there was any acceptance for a DWP voucher claim for slight reduction in price for eligible recipients.
Thorough
Hearing test was very thorough and the audiologist was very helpful.
On the downside I have had two appointments cancelled although they were easily rearranged, however I had made plans around this appointments
Very efficient and helpful service
Very efficient and helpful service from Harry. Thank you.
Cancelled appointment by text 24 minutes after appointment
Boots Hearing”care” cancelled my mother’s appointment by text, 24 minutes after the scheduled appointment, whilst we were sitting in Boots in Maidenhead, waiting to be seen.
I had to take time off work to take my mother to this appointment and now have to take more time off work for a rescheduled appointment.
My mother is disabled and needs a wheelchair. She is also a carer of a housebound husband so extra arrangements had to be made to enable her to attend this appointment, which she had waited a long time for. She is so deaf she was unable to make a 999 call and needs urgent support. We were not alone. Another carer with her disabled husband in a wheelchair who had struggled to get parking, had their appointment cancelled after arriving.
I lugged a wheelchair into my car twice and out of my car twice, for no reason. I was told that someone had phoned us. There were no missed calls and no voice mails. When asked when the phone call had been made they couldn’t say. This appointment had been confirmed by text the day before. My mother then received an email at 9.29 am in addition to the text message cancelling the 9.00 am appointment.
I can’t recommend. Their administration is appalling and a bad reflection upon the store. There was no one who represented Boots Hearing”care” in this store. It took 10 minutes to get Boots Hearing”care” to answer my phone call.
This facility is not easily accessible to people who are disabled. Disabled parking is extremely limited making appointments stressful and even more stressful when you learn you had a wasted journey.
Boots Hearing”care” please refrain from posting your standard complaint response. My mother needs support and you failed her when she is on her knees struggling to cope.
I was very pleased with my testing.
I was very pleased with my testing and appointment with Shuren. I felt he listened to my needs and didn't rush me at all and gave me a couple of weeks to make my decision.

The staff that done the first test and the lady that actually done the hearing test were absolutely fantastic. Kept me informed what was happening at all times.
