Excellant service full hearing test not pushed into having a hearing aid. Everything explained fully even about cheap hearing aids online where they don’t test your hearing. I had the hearing aids on a 90day trial period for a cost of almost £3,000. Over a period of three or so weeks l was unable to get the level of hearing correct and found l was still struggling to hear conversations. The ‘on the ear’ style was a problem for me as l have long hair and wear glasses and was constantly pulling them off my ears accidentally and getting them tangled in my hair. I also wasnt happy that they were very visible if l wore my hair up. The long 90day trial period was great but l feared losing one whilst l was in the trial period but was advised to add them to my home insurance as a precaution which was another added cost. Through no fault of the great service in Boots they didnt offer what l had hoped for so I returned them and was refunded my money…no questions asked!

Thomas Devonald was excellent.He explained every stage carfully showing me diagrams and taking time to make sure I understood each process.

I went for a free hearing check and what I've thought for a long time was confirmed - that I really did need hearing aids. On a follow up consultation I bit the bullet and purchased a set. The original short check was conducted in a relaxed helpful manner as was the follow up with Ffion. She provided a mark up set to test on the shop floor and explained everything clearly. My new hearing aids were ready within a week. I had a follow up meeting with Ffion yesterday and she was happy to repeat the information I'd forgotten or needed more details. I am very happy with my new hearing aids and the weekly Boots email gives sound advice and insights. I've even taken advantage of the in-house 4 year insurance policy which is tailor made for hearing aids. The only frustration was that I didn't qualify for the 1 year interest free payment plan and no reason was given as to why I didn't qualify.

Excellent service. First rate audiologist. Very thorough in explaining and undertaking the test and follow up with regard to options. Would recommend to anyone thinking of using the service.
