We stayed in The Snug in the Cotswolds - the cottage was gorgeous and we were greeted with a lovely welcome pack of food which meant breakfast was sorted! The location is perfect for exploring the Cotswolds, and is very quiet and idyllic with a fab pub a 10 min walk away. Would recommend!

This is the third year I have used Boutique Retreats for a weeks break in October… the luxurious photos of the accommodations on the website are 100% accurate.. when you arrive at your location it looks exactly like the photos! All the properties are gorgeous and the welcome hampers are a real treat and a fabulous touch to make each stay memorable.. There are so many properties to choose from all over the UK and a comprehensive list of filters so that you can find precisely what you are looking for.. I always choose dog friendly, because I always take my dog! And I’ve never been limited in my choice.

I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending BR… I promise you won’t be disappointed.. but you might not want to go home!

The cottage at Stippy Stappy is beautiful and has everything you need, and we loved the location! Walking to the beach, having coffee and cake or a Cornish pasty and cosy evenings in front of the wood burner. We went on some amazing walks around the coast and had some great meals out nearby. Fantastic holiday!

Stunning, well equipped property in a beautiful location. The accommodation was superb with just about everything you might need catered for. Spacious rooms, particularly well equipped kitchen, lots of storage, log burner, underfloor heating, comfortable seating and beds. Plenty of space to entertain or just kick back and relax. A perfect get away!

Great and unique accommodation in a lovely, private location. Well equipped and very comfortable - a great base from which to explore the surrounding areas - Wells, Bath, Cheddar Gorge and more. The nearest pub is a 25 minute walk - you should take a torch if making the trip in the autumn/winter months in the evening. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our dog loved the secure garden. Welcome basket went down a treat too!!

We took The Hayloft at Trevear Farm for a long weekend break and could not have been more impressed with the standard of the accommodation and the facilities generally. The owners really set the standard here. Ideally placed just a few miles from Padstow and some wonderful countryside and coastline we could not have found a better, more comfortable retreat.

Day from hell! We travelled down from Nottingham to Cornwall, didn’t even stay a night as APRODITE, the cottage that we booked via ‘boutique retreats’ was absolutely nothing like what had been marketed and advertised on their website. Pest control plug ins everywhere and ground dirt. We couldn’t wait to flee from the property. First and last time I would ever use the company. I also may add, that they clearly only HAND PICK the reviews they put on their website as they are all positive. I really wish I had read some of the trust pilot reviews about them before booking and not got sucked into their beautifully presented website. That in our case the property did not resemble anything like what had been completely mis sold to us.

Absolutely beautiful place for a short break. Went with my boyfriend and we both loved it. It was quite expensive, but totally worth it, and we will hopefully be staying again at some point.

The Swallow’s Nest is a beautifully designed, super comfortable and airy retreat with everything you need for your stay. Even a view with sheep! Fabulous walks right on the doorstep and further away on the moors, coast, dales and local countryside. Wonderful Rievaulx and Byland Abbey are close and many villages and towns to visit. The cottage is a lovely place to return to after a busy day and a really comfortable place to be if you don’t want to go out. We loved our time there.

Very comfortable and tasteful cottage in a delightful location. A small problem was dealt with swiftly and efficiently. We paid more than in other places but the extra money was 100% worth it.

We had a family holiday in Cornwall and Boutique-retreats were excellent in every respect.

If you asked for the perfect retreat Broadview would be it. Beautiful and immaculate property with fantastic views and so peaceful. The owners were lovely and very helpful and friendly. What more could you want.

We have booked and stayed at a couple of Boutique Retreat cottages and they always been of high quality.
You get to a place in your life when you expect a touch of luxury and having recently stayed at Penda cottage in cornwall it certainly delivered.

A great company to book that perfect holiday accommodation.

Beautifully decorated property. Generously equipped for all needs. Perfect location. We had a lovely week here. Only downside is only one parking space - so for 8 people you would require another parking space which is very hard to come by in St Ives. Makes it a bit more stressful than it could be.

We’ve used boutique retreats twice now and have loved both trips. The properties are beautiful in lovely locations. Would definitely recommend.

Me and my husband stayed at Rockton Mews for my 60th birthday gift, and we ended up coming back a day early because we'd become so fed up at the quality of the stay.

The website describes the 'retreat' as peaceful and secluded. As the retreat itself is semi-attached to the owner’s home I wouldn't describe that as secluded. Also due to the owner’s main door and car being next to the bedroom windows my husband was woken up every time the owner left his home and drove off early in the morning- I wouldn't describe that as peaceful!

The sea views from the bedrooms that the website promised were obstructed by the owner of the homes multiple cars and our one allotted car space- so instead of the ocean I got to wake up to the sight of someone's Mercedes!!

The hessian sack armchair has a nice aesthetic but was so rough that after being sat in it for 15 minutes I was brought out in a rash.

We submitted a review for the website which for obvious reasons they haven't put online.

My wife and I have stayed in three Boutique Retreat properties over the past year or so and all have been quite unique and finished to a very high standard indeed. We consider the accommodation to be part of the holiday experience overall (whatever the weather!) and not just somewhere to sleep. They're not the cheapest but for a lovely holiday experience we think that they are definitly worth looking at.

Sanctuary was exactly that! It was perfect for our needs and requirements with lovely decoration/interiors. It was also fabulous to have original artwork on the walls that was available for purchase.
