The Lodge was superb, beautifully appointed, brilliantly thought out. We have already rebooked!

I have booked via boutique retreats twice now and I am a fan. The website is easy to navigate and both cottages were exactly as described and featured on their website. Clear instructions were given to find and access the properties with lots of useful information on restaurants etc I would not hesitate to recommend booking your holiday with them.

Wonderful Ivy cottage in Castleton booked through Boutique retreats. The booking and customer service is exceptional and the property blissful. Everything had been thought through and we couldn't have asked for a better property. I'll book through Boutique retreats agaun

Used Boutique Retreats a few times now and never been disappointed. The properties are advertised accurately, booking and customer service are great, and the properties are always of the highest standard. Will definitely be using them again next year

We are regulars of Boutique Retreats and rent every year. I have had reason to use their Customer Service which was fantastic and they deal with any queries quickly and fairly.
Our recent cottage rental was simply the best. The location was stunning, peaceful and the cottage had everything we needed - all exactly as advertised.
The standard of cleanliness is high (as I would expect) and we have already booked again for next year.

Stayed at Thornworthy barn for 10 days. A fantastic little retreat on the edge of Dartmoor. Mist covered moors, a wood burner, great walks and new born ducklings. Booking through boutique retreats extremely easy.

I have stayed in a number of Boutique Retreat properties and each one has been fantastic, in both quality and service provided by both the owners of the properties and customer service.
The properties are not cheap, but it’s worth it knowing you will get a quality experience. You always ‘get what you pay for’ and Boutique Retreats are no exception. Our most recent booking at the Stables in Pembrokeshire was lovely

We stayed at Trelowen-Fowey from 24-31st March 2023 and had a wonderful holiday. We were very lucky to be the first visitors to this newly renovated home. The location was perfect and the accommodation sublime, so comfortable and luxurious. The house had everything we wanted, so well stocked with everything you need and so well thought out. We enjoyed coming back from days out just be in the house and garden areas taking in the views over the river. Then a stroll in the evening to a good choice of restaurants and pubs. Fowey is so lovely and the house has the wow factor that does not disappoint -a real gem

We have used Boutique Retreats for a few amazing holidays and we really can't fault them. Booking is really easy. The member section of their site makes managing and paying for your holiday very simple and check in info is easily accessible. We have used Boutique Retreats for a 50th celebration holiday and our honeymoon and each time they sent us a letterbox gift to help make our stay even more special. We had a lovely stay in Dolly’s Plaice , Fowey. The accommodation was just perfect , everything thought of and so comfortable. The views from the property are stunning and we spent hours just relaxing looking out of the window. Having a parking space was good, we spent quite a bit of time in Fowey itself just mooching about in the many beautiful shops, then eating out.
Highly recommended.

The cottage we rented was beautiful and exactly as described. Exceptionally well designed and comfortable with everything we needed. The booking process was very straightforward and queries that we had before travelling and when at the cottage were dealt with very efficiently.

This was our second booking through this company, for the same property - Sea Thatch. What I like about booking through BR is it’s straight forward, easy booking and not bombarded with info afterwards. The cottage was just as described with the loveliest, most thoughtful welcome pack. Love Sea Thatch so much that I’m not sure we will book a different property but if we do, we will def return through BR.

Recently spent several days at a beautifully appointed 4 bedroom cottage near Padstow . Close to the north coast Cornish beaches it is perfect for those who enjoy surfing and the lovely restaurants in Padstow and environs. The views from the rear of the cottage are stunning however marred at this time by the next door property being a building site with two large containers , a digger and numerous builders vans and lorries.
Would have thought that Boutique Cottages would have checked and advised us of this and/or reduced the price. Am sure this will be a 5 star property once the builders have gone .

We stayed at Vincis, near Portreath in Cornwall, a truly spectacular setting overlooking the ocean! The house is modern, spacious and just a few minutes' walk from the beach. Boutique Retreats offer a wide range of superb properties but this is a family favourite!

This was my second time using Boutique Retreats and I find both their service and accomodation to be excellent.
Beautiful places to stay, very stylishly presented with absolutely everything you could possibly need for your stay.
The Boutique Retreat team are very professional and the booking system is simple and straightforward.
Can't praise this company enough!

Disingenuous and disinterested service overall.
Concealed important information such as no cell phone reception at property - until after 100% deposit had been paid.
Malfunctioning security lights kept us awake for several days - not fixed until several days in to stay (they subsequently claimed to have resolved immediately which is inaccurate).
House heating was off when we arrived meaning baby and elderly guests suffered freezing temperatures for 4 hours.
I declined an offer of 10% off the next stay as I’ll never have anything to do with them again.

Fabulous properties and a personal touch. We are returning customers which says it all!
