Fantastic stay in a 4 bed house adjacent to the beach on the south coast- superb home, with every detail thought of; very comfortable, spacious, many extras provided, including treats and toys for the dog!! Really hope to come here again, but certainly will always use the Boutique Retreat website as a go to!

We have booked with Boutique Retreats for several years now for our holidays in Cornwall. We have been very happy with their service and their properties. They have a wide selection of properties. Their customer service is great, quick response and very helpful. The booking process is easy and so is check in and check out. Can’t rate them and the properties we have booked enough.

Awful experience in a cottage in the Cotswolds.
Payed almost £2k for 3 nights for a luxury holiday.
The house stunk of wet dog and there were some rather suspicious pee coloured stains on the bedroom carpets.
When I brought this up with the company they said they would give us 10% off our next stay! Spoilt the holiday, if you don’t like sleeping next to other peoples dog pee don’t book with this company .

They provide a superior service with quality and several exceptional places to rent. A great company that does what it 'says on the tin'.

We have booked holidays through Boutique Retreats for several years now and have always been extremely happy with our experience. The staff are fantastic; responsive, helpful and go the extra step to make everything that little extra special. This year our holiday coincided with my partners birthday. On the day a gift and card arrived from the BR staff- gorgeous and very much appreciated. On a previous year my holiday was disrupted by the death of my mother and I had to leave my partner to holiday alone- BR staff sent flowers and chocolate.
This holiday was a return to our absolute favourite cottage (they’re all lovely)- again it’s the little extras that set BR apart- a lovely welcome basket of treats, Noble Isle bathroom products and high end decor/ furnishings.

Boutique Retreats have many amazing houses and cottages on their easy to use website. A wide selection of locations and sizes so always a lot to choose from. They offer excellent customer service with quick response to any contact. I highly recommend them.

This is the second time we have booked with boutique retreats and i wouldn’t book with anyone else now, the properties are really something special, always immaculate and have that wow feeling when you walk in, we have had the best week in The Nest in Newton Ferrers, such a beautiful relaxing place, perfect for re charging our batteries.

Our family has now stayed at several of the Boutique Retreats, most recently at Bellevue in East Lulworth, Dorset. We booked this property for a special celebration, our Golden Wedding Anniversary. We had a wonderful week with our son and his family. Our two grand children loved the hot tub, the house was simply stunning (on a Grand Designs scale!), so well equipped and very 'dog friendly'. It was a perfect family retreat for a very special event!

Very impressed with Boutique Retreats. The booking process was very easy and the instructions for the property were very informative. We stayed at Elmwood in Devon which was absolutely beautiful and certainly lived up to the stunning online photographs. Everything was to the highest standard, spotlessly clean and well appointed. I would definitely use this company again.

Just wow! We have absolutely fallen in love with little pol. Everything is so perfect & beautiful. Extremely clean & comfortable. We would highly recommend and will be retuning every year now.

I wanted to give Boutique Retreats their usual 5 stars as this is the third time I have booked with them and they are always amazing. This bad review really relates to the owners of the property "Quercus" in Devon - namely Katie Jacoby who I can only assume possesses zero integrity and absolutely no morals. We paid £3k for a week at this property which is stunning, however on day two ALL the smoke detectors (ten) went off for no apparent reason (we were not cooking, did not light a fire or use candles). We called Katie (as the owner) no response but left a VM. We called the 24/7 helpline for Boutique Reteats - no answer and no facility to leave a VM. Four hours later - ten smoke detectors STILL sounding continuously and no help available. Our three dogs were terrified and ran off into the garden, refusing to come int the house. The sound was deafening. Eventually I ran inside to look for the fire instructions on back of door and found someone called "Mark" listed. In the meantime we tried switching off mains electricity but alarms still sounded and guess what? no wifi means you cannot make any calls as there is no mobile phone coverage. Switched electricity back on and called "Mark" who came out. He could not resolve situation and was barely apologetic. He called electrician who ripped out two of the smoke detectors in main lounge and master bedroom (directly underneath thatched roof) announcing "you should be ok now". Err... no - not the right answer. This is a blatant breach of heath and safety regulations as we are now not protected in the event of fire. No call back from Katie and still cannot get in touch with Boutique Retreats. Our dogs were still refusing to come back into the property having had to endure four hours to the relentless sound of ten smoke alarms. We decided to leave - not feeling safe to stay at all. In summary, Boutique Retreats tried to negotiate a refund/rebook with the owners who only offered £100 - for a lost £3k holiday? Incredible. Please take note - even if you book with BR, your contract is with the owners NOT with them. So if anything goes wrong, you are completely stuffed. Fortunately BR offered us their commission by way of compensation (approx £650) but owners refused to give any more than £100!!! We felt too unsafe and vulnerable to remain - it was Sunday and NO-ONE answering our calls. All in all not acceptable and will be reporting owner and the property to the local authority with whom they have to have a licence.

Booked a few breaks with Boutique Retreats, always helpful and properties have always been great places to stay, would recommend and will be booking more breaks with Boutique Retreats in the future

Fabulous location. Great accommodation - very quiet, peaceful and spacious.

This company have only the very best properties to make your holiday special. We have stayed on the Isle of Skye with them and in Derbyshire and both times the homes were exceptional. Will be using over and again!

Boutique Retreats are “ go to” booking agents for finding simply the most luxurious holiday properties around. Their service is excellent and never disappoints.

We’ve stayed at 3 properties so far and each one was excellent and just as it was described. The information provided about the property and directions were really useful.

Booked a holiday let in St.Agnes, Cornwall which showed evidence of bed bugs. Unfortunately brought some of the wretched things home with me. When I complained to this company, they adopted a swift "slopey shoulders" approach and told me my contract was with the let owner. This has been an utter nightmare, I can't sleep at night with worry and its costing a fortune to try to resolve. I would not use this company again and would not advise anyone else to, they clearly have no inspection policy at all and put all the emphasis on owners to ensure their properties are maintained, pest free and hygienic.

Boutique Retreats website was easy to use and booking Laurel Cottage online was quick and easy.
The photographs for the cottage were absolutely stunning online and in real life the cottage didn’t disappoint and lived up to our expectations.
I would definitely use Boutique Retreats in the future and would recommend them highly.
