House is amazing and location is second to none!

The staff provided an excellent customer service ,very helpful and explaining to us on how to access filling in information online. Always prompt on answering the telephone when we needed information and no problem when they gave us answers with confidence. Sales Office in easy reach and comfortable reception area.

Having bought my new build in February and moved in the beginning of March I cannot thank Nick and all his team for everything they have done for me, nothing was too much trouble for him.
Both Beth and Maddy in the sales office was always on hand for any advice if needed.
But for me Nick was the star of the show so thankyou so much Nick for making my transition run smoothly

On my visit to Hollin Bank I was greeted to warm greeting and friendly smile. Rhodri who was on site was extremely knowledgeable and approachable. He talked through the whole development and showed all the different house types available and put my mind at complete ease.

The homes are stunning. Prime location for hollingworth lake, and definitely wanting to purchase my next home here.

We called today at the Hollingworth Lake development. We were greeted by the super friendly Rhrodri. He was extremely informative, he quickly and very concisely gave us a good overview of the Cypress property. He outlined the similarities to the showroom and also explained the difference in layout and room sizes.His manner was very upbeat and pleasant, he left us to explore the house at our ease without any pressure.
Overall we came away with the information we required in order to ponder over.

I had a pretty awful experience last year with Bovis Homes, with their team at Emmer Green Drive. After a few red flags, which I foolishly ignored - we had agreed to buy, but they later pulled out of the sale making it seem like we'd done something wrong - my wife was very upset. We later found out they'd sold "our" house and a chunk of the development to some investment company.

Additionally, their Trustpilot rating was like 2.8 or something at the time, suddenly it's really high. Very, very suspicious.

When entering Hollin Bank we were very impressed by the location of the site and the presentation of the properties.
On arrival we were greeted by Rhodri who was very welcoming and friendly.
When looking around the show home he was very knowledgeable and informative, answering any questions we had. Rhodri made our experience very pleasurable.

I purchased a new-build property from Bovis Homes / Vistry and have generally tried to be patient with various snagging and maintenance issues over the past few years. However, I was very disappointed with the response regarding a premature failure of the bifold door hinge system.

After only around 3 years of normal residential use, one of the bifold hinges developed significant wear/failure and now requires a costly replacement assembly recommended by the original hardware manufacturer. What concerns me most is that only one hinge has failed while the matching hinge on the same door continues to operate normally, which raises reasonable questions around alignment, installation stress, or uneven loading rather than simple wear and tear.

I fully understand warranties cannot last forever, and I was not expecting unlimited coverage. However, for a premium bifold door system installed in a relatively new property, I do not believe such a major hinge issue after only 3 years represents reasonable durability.

Unfortunately, despite providing photos and technical information from the hardware manufacturer, the issue was dismissed as “routine homeowner maintenance” because the warranty period had expired.

What disappointed me most was not simply the warranty position itself, but the lack of willingness to investigate whether the failure may have been caused by installation alignment or premature component wear. A goodwill inspection or partial support would have demonstrated much stronger customer care.

I hope Bovis / Vistry will improve their aftercare approach for homeowners facing premature hardware failures shortly after the warranty period ends.
