Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 115 reviews, most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the customer service, finding staff to be rude, unhelpful, and often unwilling to assist with issues like gift card problems or car wash malfunctions. Reviewers also frequently mentioned that products were overpriced, with some feeling exploited due to the high costs of fuel and other items. Though some customers reported positive interactions with staff, describing them as friendly, polite, and helpful, a significant number of people were dissatisfied with the general service, including long queues, issues with self-service options, and poorly maintained facilities like dirty toilets. Some people also felt that the company's policies, such as fining customers for staying over 30 minutes even when queuing for services, were unfair.

Is there a way to give zero stars to…

Is there a way to give zero stars to this place? First of all, the staff here were consistently rude and arrogant. They even asked my 8-month pregnant wife to stand aside and wait while they prioritized other customers over those dropping off Yodel parcels. On the 27th of August, she dropped off two parcels, and both have disappeared. Tracking shows that Yodel hasn’t picked them up since, so the parcels should still be there. The owner of this petrol station should investigate this and get rid of these thieves.

At 23:15 hours On 30/09/2024 I went the BP parramatta nsw 2150 at the corner of hassle and James rouse drive to buy a packet of cigarettes. The woman behind the counter told told to shut up and asked me to wait for 5 to 10 minutes because she was going to close one of the till. I asked her politely her can do that after serving me because I needed to go just finished work. She replied by saying shut up and wait. I told her if am going to complain about you and will filmed and please repeat what you just told me earlier. She went to call the police on me. It was a very disrespectful and disgusting experience. That the most disgusting costumer experience I have ever had. I just can’t believe BP employees this kind of poorly trained people. I demand a written apology

Coffee drinkers and shoppers blocking access to pumps after fuelling.

Went to local BP Connect in Dumbarton today to fuel car. On arrival I was lucky enough to get the one available pump as all the rest had cars parked alongside. At most of the pumps there was no-one either at the pump or in the car. Refuelled using BPMe App (which takes a bit of time) and I left before any of the other vehicles that were parked alongside the pumps when I arrived. A queue had formed and was almost backed up on to the A82. It was obvious that the drivers of the cars in question, if not in the short queue to pay, were either shopping in M & S or waiting on a coffee. Why don't they fuel up, pay and then park in one of the available spaces away from the pumps before shopping or getting a coffee rather than block access to the pumps? Staff need to be more aware and maybe there needs to be some sort of signage to prevent this from happening. The drivers of at least 4 of the cars (3 were in queue at paypoint) were blocking access to pumps while they shopped or had a coffee.

BPME Rewards APP and Rewards website

What a complete waste of time and effort trying to use this Rewards scheme. Judging from Google and Utube links certainly widespread and no fixes seem to work. Will take my custom back to Shell. Certainly no one in the Rewards customer service team care a jot

Dishonest business with shady business practices and good support

Used to charge 500 points (= €500!) for €3 Amazon voucher and 1500 points (= €1500!) for €10 Amazon voucher. €10 voucher constantly, conveniently out of stock. Eventually discontinued both and now charges 1700 points (= €1700!) for 10€ Amazon voucher, no other Amazon voucher option. Later released another campaign, best redeeming options again constantly, conveniently unavailable. Otherwise good. Good diesel and support.

BP Rewards just to lure you into buying their petrol but spending them is a joke,

BP Rewards are simply a scam, BP is bloody useless and don't reply to any attempts to contact them, you can not spend the points you have carefully collected at the same garage where you got them. The people who now 'own' the franchise at the BP garage in Sherborne are completely disinterested in their customers, spend a lot of time laughing among themselves, even when you are in the middle of a conversation and when I found I could't exchange my points in the very place I got them, the 'boss'(???) said I would have to find a bigger garage for myself, as he hadn't a clue,,,,well that is obvious, not having a clue seems to be the new BP mantra. My solution is easy, I will now buy my petrol in the next village and hope everyone who has been scammed by BP do the same.

I would like to commend the staff at the BP garage at Perry Road Chislehurst, Kent. I broke down with a flat tyre there yesterday the 2nd of August. I was there for a few hours till towed away. The young lady and Gentleman in charge there were extremely Professional, curteous and efficient. Excellent in today’s normal lack of any kind of customer service! Thank you.

Consumer Protection WA,
How long is this Scam going to carry on in Australia ? Neosurf Cards are sold freely at bp, through their gift card printing eftpos thing. I was personally misled to believe I could use them to top up my PayPal or eBay with those vouchers . Amateur mistake , I admit , deal was indeed too good to be true . Once you register your voucher on neosurf website , you find out , there is no way to spend it there. Every single link in their main website, leads to a site where you can supposedly spend it , or to a non functional website, or a company selling something that doesn’t work in Australia. All those sites have very few items that are acceptable or would work in Australia. Mostly gift cards , virtual cards and games currencies and points . Once I realised my stupidity, of course I spoke to a bot by email every 48hrs , the script was exactly the same as many others describe on Trustpilot , must upgrade account , must upload documents, must wait 48hrs for first transaction . Well , once you have your account up and running , its been nearly a week already, so you go back to the point of sale where you got it from (BP, eftpos, whoever you all in it) , you find out of course, there is no refund policy. So , you call BP on their costumer channel ( felling like a complete loser , the person you going to talk will have no idea what you talking about ) , and just as you know , thats what happened . Looking up the scam model for a few hours you learn that its actually used for online gambling and obscure businesses over market place, which generates another kind of scam , when the codes get stolen by the supposed seller.
The site that looked a bit more legit out of all the dodgy link was the G2A, a website , very similar to the others, but their socials looked more active and also had more followers, sponsoring famous soccer player . And guess what , now G2A has my “money” trapped on the same upgrade , register, wait 48hrs stalling plan . The very same site accepts Paypal their way, but conveniently must get a copy of your ID to register again on a broken website , and the last person I saw on reddit on the same time frame , was ghosted after a month and no resolution.
Im not a gambler and Im not accepting an invalid Woolworths gift card as compensation , I want this money back , I’ll dispute the transaction on my card and I will include all the companies on my complaint to the International Consumer Protection and Consumer Protection WA. Wrong time to screw with my money pals , give it back .

Title: Latest BPME Update Ruins Functionality and Costs Users Money

I’m incredibly disappointed with the latest update to the BPME app on iPhone. Previously, the app included a vital feature that allowed users to search for bunker sites on a map—now, this essential function has been removed. Without it, finding bunker sites is nearly impossible, making the app practically useless for anyone relying on BP's bunker fuel membership.

Not every BP petrol station is a bunker site, which means that without this feature, I risk fueling up at a regular station and being charged nearly double the price. The removal of this feature feels like a deliberate attempt to confuse customers and squeeze more money out of us, especially since only bunker sites are included in the membership benefits.

This update is nothing short of a scam. BP, and other big petrol companies, need to stop these underhanded tactics and bring back the functionality we depend on. Until then, this app is not only unhelpful but also a financial liability. I strongly urge others to avoid using it until BP fixes this glaring issue.

BPme Rewards- absolutely scandalous.

BPme Rewards- absolutely scandalous.

Can this organisation sink any lower?

BP in the UK has started a rewards scheme, the only problem is, BP make it near-impossible to actually spend your points.
Firstly, only one BP pfs in the whole city of Nottingham will actually accept reward points, with all the others claiming that they can't / won't due to being a franchise and the resultant 'data breaches' it would cause (WHATEVER THAT MEANS???).

And then, when it comes to trying to spend your reward points, you must have a significant amount of your own accumulated spends / points in order to be able to activate any bonus points.

Typical pure greed by BP and its franchises. A scandalous company, as it will always be.

BP Edenburg Rivonia 98 12th Ave SA. No refund

Use at your own risk. Some card machines don't work well. Fuel attendant tapped my card twice. It came off my bank and they refused to refund because they claim their bank was not credited. They said I was supposed to personally resolve the issue with the fuel attendant and not BP. The rude lady that I spoke to forgot to hang up the phone and they were laughing it off. I was not a very important customer to them.

BP customer service ignore SCAMED customers.

Are you finding your loyalty points are short. Bp customer services failed to respond to my email below about the deceit of a service connect station failing to add loyalty points.

Hello
Having activated your recent 4x loyalty points offer for premium fuel, I visited my usual Moushold SF Connect on 30th July and filled up with £98 of premium fuel.
I first passed my loyalty card to the cashier, She appeared to scan it, but there was no bip. I paid with contactless. At this point I requested a receipt. The cashier feined examination of the receipt with 'Oh, your points have not been added'. She then added points to the loyalty card. But when I then examined my receipt as I left, only 98 points had been manually added. I returned and pointed out 4x points should have been added. Grudgingly 3x more points were added after some discussion.
There was no apology, and the response was curt and knowing!!
The cashier absolutely knew the card did not register the points and was quite ok with me leaving without them. The feined receipt examination confirms the deceit.
I would appreciate an explanation before considering if this scam needs to be published to warn other customers.
Best regards,
Rob...........
