Annual service carried out with great efficiency and care. Brayley Honda St Albans provides reliable reassurance when asked to service a car that has a loving home.

Came into showroom
To book a service and then rang to change to having car picked up.
Turned out very long winded.!
The appointment came through with job details which didn’t look most professional.
Car was picked up promptly but disappointed that the charge to pick up and drop off is now £50, which I thought was extortionate.
Also car doesn’t get a courtesy wash now which is a shame and always in the past has made the service complete in my eyes.
This didn’t affect the service though.
Had a couple of calls from the showroom
(Sorry forgot his name) polite and extremely informative.
So all in all a good experience

Two years ago I left this dealership a 2-star review after being ignored in the showroom, receiving poor customer service and never getting a promised call back from a manager. I genuinely hoped they would take that feedback on board and improve.
Unfortunately, they haven't.
When I purchased my Hyundai from this dealership, I was told the vehicle had a full service history, and I have the emails and documentation confirming this. Three years later, as I'm now selling the car, I've discovered the first three service records are missing. Hyundai UK Customer Services advised me to contact Brayleys Hyundai St Albans directly to see if they could help establish what had happened.
Instead of receiving the support you would expect from the dealership that sold me the vehicle, I was made to feel like my enquiry was an inconvenience. The member of staff I spoke to was abrupt, dismissive and completely uninterested in helping. Every question I asked was met with short, uninterested responses. Rather than trying to resolve my enquiry, the conversation was quickly brought to a close with, "If there's nothing else I can help you with..." even though my questions had not been answered. I was left with the clear impression that getting me off the phone was more important than helping a customer.
I explained that this level of customer service was exactly why I had chosen not to buy my latest car from Brayleys and that, after today's experience, I certainly never would in the future. I also told her that I intended to leave a Google review reflecting my experience. Rather than apologising, trying to understand my concerns or attempting to put things right, her response, in a dismissive tone, was simply, "That's your prerogative." That response summed up the entire conversation. At no point did she appear interested in retaining a customer or resolving a genuine concern.
I explained that this wasn't an isolated incident. Around two years ago, I left a Google review after being ignored in the showroom, having phone calls repeatedly go unanswered, and never receiving a promised call back from a manager despite requesting one. That experience was the reason I chose to buy my latest car elsewhere.
Sadly, today's experience has confirmed that absolutely nothing has changed.
What concerns me most is that this appears to be a dealership where customer service ends the moment you've bought the car. When I previously asked for a manager to call me back, nobody did. Two years later, I still came away feeling that customer concerns simply aren't important.
Customer service isn't just about being polite when you're trying to make a sale. It's about standing behind the vehicles you sell, treating customers with respect and helping when genuine issues arise. In my experience, Brayleys Hyundai St Albans has repeatedly failed to do that.
Based on my experience, the member of staff I dealt with would benefit from additional training in customer service, communication and handling customer concerns. A dissatisfied customer should be treated as an opportunity to resolve an issue and rebuild confidence, not as an inconvenience to be dismissed. Unfortunately, my experience today left me with the exact opposite impression.
Looking through the recent Google reviews, it's difficult to ignore the number of customers describing poor communication, rude or dismissive staff, unreturned calls and disappointing aftersales support. Sadly, my experience appears to follow the same pattern.
I gave this dealership a second chance after my previous review. They have proved to me that nothing has changed.
If you're considering buying a Hyundai, my advice is simple: buy it from another dealership. There are plenty of dealers who genuinely value their customers before, during and after the sale. Based on my repeated experiences over several years, Brayleys Hyundai St Albans is not one of them.
Thankyou John Loizou for being so helpful and informative and not pushy when l was buying a Hyundi i10 at your St Albans branch last Wednesday. You explained everything so l understood. I just wanted to thankyou very much.

Again, the service we received at St Albans Brayley Honda was exceptional. We brought our CRV in for its regular service and MOT. James is a great addition to the Service Desk team. He and Mani looked after us and got everything sorted in the most professional and helpful way. Very much appreciated, Roy & Robin

Recent service and MOT carried out efficiently and well - mind you the spark plugs cost £150 a set!!
Waiting for my car to be ready, I noticed the very professional banner display saying that instead of washing my car, Brayley will "plant a tree on my behalf". No they won't. This is cost saving masquerading as an environmental initiative. If only they had been honest about it.

Been using Brayleys Honda St Albans for 9 years for service and MOT. Mr Andy Doust booked my car in by contacting me and when I arrived Manoj Nayee greeted me and dealt with it straight away. Very friendly and prompt service and staff are also friendly. Service and MOT got sorted and I was explained in details what to look out for by Manoj which was great, Andy is busy man but always got time to chat and happy to help if I needed any assistance, which is greatly appreciated. I would recommend Brayleys Honda St Albans, you can trust them. Thank you.

A huge thank you to Shaff for helping us buy our car. He was the complete opposite of the typical pushy salesperson — genuinely kind, patient, and happy to answer anything we asked. He made the whole experience smooth and stress‑free.
We part‑exchanged our old car and got a great price, and he kept everything relaxed from start to finish.
If you’re thinking of buying from St Albans Brayleys, go and see Shaff. You won’t regret it.

Very pleased, as always, with my Jazz annual service. Mani was extremely helpful and our car was serviced while we waited. All the staff were very kind and helpful as I waited with my disabled and severely partially sighted wife. Stuart Warner who serviced the car this year and last year does a fantastic job. I also like the new style health check report which highlights items which might require changing/servicing next year and which indicates how much they will cost.
