Rediculously high prices and wouldn't…
Rediculously high prices and wouldn't pricematch. I visited the Dunstable branch today to buy 10L of Johnstones Brilliant White Coverplus. I usually buy online from decoratingcentreonline.co.uk ( free next day delivery for £33.99) but on this occasion I wanted it same day. Brewers wanted just over £45. I aske for a pricematch only to be told that they couldn't as the item was already discounted. This is in breach of their own terms and frankly a very poor service. In general the prices at Brewers are way more than many online stores. In fact B&Q, Screwfix, Wickes and the like often give better prices. I won't be using my account much in the future.
Update:
I received a call from the store manager and he informed me it was a mistake on belhalf of the sales assistant. A pricematch should have been processed. he apologised for the error. (I've amended my score to reflect the response, although I stick by my claim of high prices)

bad pricing
went in and was quoted a price for several items, so priced the job accordingly then went back a couple of days latter and was told a price £30 more wont be using them again
