Just purchased a large quantity of exterior paint from your store in Victoria Rd, Stoke on Trent. Served by a young chap who goes by the name of “Archie”a very helpful and personable lad. However my first encounter on entering the store was with a chap called Rob, quite a surly character, I think he was some sort of manager.
Thought it best for you to know, without getting the guy in trouble that he possibly needs a lesson in customer relations.

For all your painting supplies
I ordered a 5 litre tin of Superior Danish Oil. It was delivered within 48 hours in Brewers own van. Better than Amazon (for large liquids) who lost one order with a courier and could not deliver another within two weeks

Quick Delivery
Brewers has a wide range of products to choose from and I was very pleased with the quick delivery of my paint. It was well packed, which is important for paint because I have had other paint from companies which has arrived damage and leaking . Definitely recommend.

My account was set up, order placed to deliver goods, money taken at checkout, I received an email confirming purchase and delivery. Only to receive another email the next day saying delivery not available to York and the order cancelled. This process wasted a lot of time, very disappointed,

Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry that on this occasion we weren't able to fulfil the order. I have looked into the order and found that it was at an unfortunate time when we were in the process of temporarily removing the delivery option due to the covid-19 situation. We will be able to fulfil orders placed for delivery to York when we are trading 'normally' again.

Not ideal service on this occasion
When I placed my order it was my understanding I would receive a text or email stating when my order was ready for collection. After 5 days of waiting with no messages I went to the Eastbourne branch where it was found ' out the back'. Not the click and collect service I enjoy with people like Screwfix and Toolstation. Hopefully you will improve and set up some communication with your store in future.
