I like Brewers and have been buying…
I like Brewers and have been buying paint from them for years. Unfortunately, my last order was a disappointment. The Farrow & Ball paint, which was mixed in house, was lighter in colour than the same colour paint ordered previously from Farrow & Ball. It is now on the woodwork and looks a different colour to the walls, which is obviously a real shame. I would have complained, asked for a refund and ordered again from F&B, but… in future I will have to order directly from F&B if I require proper colour matching. Clearly, the in house mixing machines are not as accurate in operation as they should be.

Our F&B tinting machines are installed by F&B and calibrated to their high specifications to ensure the highest quality in colour creation.
F&B give a small margin of tolerance for colours tinted at different times or on different machines but it shouldn't be dramatically different, however if the finish between wall and trim is different, this could also explain the difference.
