Avoid at all costs

If you want a professional estate agents avoid Brian Cox. I've rated one star as there is no option not to provide one but this is too high of a score. The initial quotation went well and I was extremely enthusiastic about the selling process. Sadly this has not been my experience, continually having to call for updates and being confronted by excuses and deflection. Communication in any profession goes along way and with an estate agent/vendor relationship this is key to ensure a successful sale. After being listed with the agent and disappointed with the lack of professionalism shown I requested a call from the director to see what resolutions could be established. Due to the lack of accountability and deflection observed during this communication when asked what I want I requested a delisting. I shouldn't be shocked but the response was "it's done". The director himself did not even try to negotiate or provide a resolution to keep my custom he instead deleted my contract and listing on the portals. If this is the behaviour shown by the lead of the organisation then I am not surprised why the lack of professionalism is evident. If you are looking for an estate agent that is proactive and effective at communicating Brian Cox is not that!

Azi and Abdi provided excellent service…

Azi and Abdi provided excellent service throughout the sale of my house. As a first-time seller, I especially appreciated the clear and comprehensive information they gave me from the start. They were efficient too: the brochure was ready the day after the photos were taken, and my house was on the market promptly. Viewings began the following week, and Azi and Abdi kept me updated every step of the way. They were always approachable and happy to answer any questions I had. The sale itself was smooth and uncomplicated. I highly recommend Brian Cox North Harrow and particularly the work of Azi and Abdi.

Horrible

I do not see any option to provide a rating less than 1. Horrible letting agents I have ever worked with. Letting agent tries not to provide any solution, drag to the extent possible and not commit on anything. Sincerely request all to think multiple times before reaching out to them for any business.

I DID 1 STAR RATING OM MY GOOGLE…

I DID 1 STAR RATING OM MY GOOGLE REVIEW FOR BRIAN COX NORTH HARROW.
I WANT THEM TO GO AWAY AND BLOCKED THEIR NUMBER BUT GET THROUGH.

THEY REMOVED THIS GOOGLE REVIEW AND HAD SOME GOOGLE PAID PEOPLE TO START GIVING 5 START OVER THE LAST 2 MONTHS.
I WAS NOT IMPRESSED BY ABZI SOMETHING THE BRANCH MANAGER AS SAID HAD VERIFIED BUYERS WHICH WAS NOT TRUE, AS THEN SIGNED WITH RG HARROW AS BETTER COMMISSION RATE.
THEY KEPT EMAILING AND CALLING ME SAYING THEY HAD LIST OF VERIFIED BUYER WHICH THEY SENT AND HAVE BEEN CALLING AND LISTED AN EMAIL WITH NAMES OF PEOPLE

I WAS NOT IMPRESSED WITH PRESENTAION AND SAYING 8 PEOPLE TO COME NEXT DAY.

WE CONTACTED ONE INVESTOR AND IT WAS NOT TRUE AS SHE WAS LOOKING A YEAR AGO AND ALL GOOD. SO THE LIST WAS FALSE ACT OF DESPERATION.
SINCE THEN BEEN CALLED AND EMAILED SOME WEEKS AGO, MY SISTER HAD A BAD EXPERIIENCE WITH THEM TOO SOME YEARS AGO. YOU CAN USE THEM I AM JUST SAYING MY BIT HERE. BUT THE PAID GOOGLE 5 STAR REVIEW ARE FUNNY AS PAID FOR.

USELESS

I hv given them the lowest rating only because I had to tick one to move on..right from the beginning of listing it was all downhill service from them..data check/credit check, ridiculous..I never even got a name of the company that was dealing with this like the guy above did dated 3 July..I was asked to show potential buyer’s around property for couple of viewings and even when agent showed them around he would rush off before speaking to me ..one time even leaving viewer with me.. no regular courtesy calls to update me..I would get a call after a visit encouraging me to lower my selling price after just 10days on market..
had other offers that as far as I'm concerned were not put forward to me.. the whole experience was so stressful that after sale I held back payment of their 1% fee... I had to involve the Redress Scheme they are members of.. .. remember Redress work for them and not you.... this disagreement went on for 5months ..conversations I had with Redress was all Brian's sided.. they offered a 0.75% fee ..then another lower fee then another to resolve this.. after court threats I decided to accept 0.63% fee as I needed an end to this.
Brian cox Northolt.. jeff.OSullivan manager knew the wrong doings and total lack of service of my property they did not provide..
I never did know the true value of my property.. Readers.. remember if you do not get 100% service you should get, refuse the agreed percentage fee.
if Brian Cox know they have provided the 100% service and followed all procedures correctly they will not offer a less fee....Jeff???
After paying the 0.63% fee I never received any acknowledgement for this payment... again, great lack of service Brian's..

Extremely Disappointed with Brian Cox…

Extremely Disappointed with Brian Cox Estate Agents and Goodlord Credit Check Process

I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the service I received from Brian Cox Estate Agents, specifically regarding the handling of my credit check through an unprofessional company called Goodlord.

My experience began with persistent technical issues on Goodlord’s end. Despite using both my iPhone and PC, I encountered the same error repeatedly with their open banking link. This frustrating issue forced me to share my bank details directly to verify my income.

After submitting my bank statements, I was met with inadequate communication and unprofessional conduct. Despite my patience, their lip service and delay tactics wore me down. My frustration peaked when I sent the following message:

"This is still not sorted. I have been trying many times. I sent you the bank statements and everything you asked for, and you are really getting on my nerves now. You got the bank statement; examine them and give me the outcome as soon as possible as I gave notice where I currently live."

Their response? They failed me on the credit check and pocketed almost £500 of my money. Following this, I reached out to Paul at the agent office, who promised to intervene and try to resolve the situation. Yet, I have received no further communication.

In summary, my experience with Brian Cox Estate Agents and Goodlord has been nothing short of a nightmare. They are time wasters who offer unprofessional service. I strongly advise others to avoid them to save both time and money.

Brian Cox Estate Agents are officially…

Brian Cox Estate Agents are officially the most worst real estate company to ever do any amount of potential business with because their sales reps are very backward, very behind the times, not very deaf-aware, and they don't even bother to get back to me at all.

Earlier this week, I was interested in these two properties they had on their books.

I was thinking of buying them because the ceiling in the kitchen started leaking water on Friday 31st May 2024 because the washbasin in the upstairs bathroom had sprang leaks before the ceiling eventually fell down on Tuesday 4th June 2024.

There's still bits of ceiling on the floor in the kitchen and water everywhere which makes the kitchen floor very slippery so I have to be very careful when I am walking around in the kitchen.

It means that all my clothes on the clothes line in the kitchen will have to be washed again.

First, their sales rep tried getting through to me on the phone, but of course, he couldn't because I am deaf and I cannot hear. I had left explicit instructions that they were to contact me by either email or SMS but they apparently took no notice of what I had said.

I had to explain that I was deaf and that I couldn't hear. The notion of not everyone can hear seems to be a very foreign and alien concept to them. Then their rep got back to me and said that he had set up a 11.30 a.m. appointment for me to view the property this morning (Saturday 8th June 2024).

I had to explain that the 11.30 a.m. appointment was just no good for me because I was expecting a box from the USA which was due to be delivered this morning. I had to pay £51.99 customs charge on the box before they would deliver it. The box arrived just before 11 a.m. (the postie usually comes round between 10 a.m. and 12 noon).

I said that I would be able to view the property this afternoon from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Checked my emails before I left the house. No answer from the sales rep. I left the house at 12.10 p.m. I then bought a notebook with some pens from W. H. Smiths so that I could ask the rep some questions about the property.

I left W. H. Smiths at 12.48 p.m. and arrived in the road leading to the property at 1.29 p.m. I then waited and waited and waited and waited.

At 2.40 p.m., I gave up waiting and decided to go home instead. I had already arranged to view this second property, and I had asked to view it at 9 a.m. on either Monday (10th June) or Tuesday (11th June) but I don't think I will bother because the other rep never got back to me at all.

I am never ever buying anything from Brian Cox Esate Agents because they have effectively soured my experience of them and the people there are very clearly a miserable bunch of 2-faced lying prejudiced surdophobic xenophobic Fascist Nazi bigots who don't seem to value deaf / disabled people as much as anyone else like everyone else in Harrow, and they don't seem to have ever heard of WhatsApp which is far much easier for me to communicate with them rather than them trying to reach me on the phone and my emailing them and texting them. They are just very backward and very behind the times.

Of course, I am disappointed because someone will have already bagged the property I wanted to view this afternoon. Who wouldn't be?

I applaud the staff at the North Harrow…

I applaud the staff at the North Harrow Branch in-particular Azi & Abdi who have been excellent throughout the entire process in finding a buyer for my home. I would recommend to any person thinking of selling their home to get in touch with the team. What they promise is exactly what they deliver. Truly professional in every way.

Five well deserved stars for Brian Cox & Co (Oldfield Lane North

Brian Cox & Co (Oldfield Lane North, Greenford office). We were downsizing after living in our home for 27 years and were understandably nervous about putting our home on the market, however, we need not have worried because, from the first visit to our home, Daniel Jed put our minds at rest. Out of the three estate agents we received valuations from, we decided to go with Brian Cox and Co and we were not disappointed. Daniel, and his staff, Emma Gerald, and Kinga Andrasik were professional and knowledgeable in answering all of our questions. They kept us updated at all times via phone and email. Putting our home on the market to selling our home, took just over two months and this was due to the excellent service they provided, so, therefore, we would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends.

Poor Experience

Negative experience with this agent. My feeling is they do not work transparently and encourage over inflation of prices. Their customer service is poor. I will not use them again as either buyer or seller as they did not gain my trust.
